Honestly, I'm not sure why so many poor reviews. The graphics are crisp and clear. Can easily see what resources are needed.
Music I always mute, so can't comment on that.
Can Queue up actions vs waiting for character to complete one before proceeding on. A MUST in a TM Game IMHO.

The level of Challenge is still there as well. On one of the earliest levels, found myself cussing at the screen. Had to replay 3 times before I got 3 Stars. For me, this is enjoyment in a TM game. Although it might not sound like it LOL.
I was concerned about the comments regarding the arrows telling one where to go. Maybe it's just me, but after the first level, I either didn't notice them or I somehow turned them off, because I am not even aware of them any more.
Conclusion: If you've enjoyed previous installments of the Game, you should enjoy this one.
It does still have the tedious Spin The Wheel and the Pick a Chest option, but neither of these took away from the Game any more than they did previously.
I'm enjoying it and I do recommend it. Show less

This is like all the rest, but it has a different story line and I love these kinds of games. May need to change up some of what we need to do to get through the game other then that I recommend this game.

Usually there is a fairly good story behind these games, but not this time. Anyone familiar with the story of Hades and Persephone won't be at all surprised. The game is the same as the others without any of the story surprises or funny comments that the characters sometimes made. If you like this game in all its incarnations, then you'll be happy. OK, so this is the 6th iteration of the same basic, almost primitive resource management game series--run, fetch, build, destroy monsters. The lead character looks a little grotesque as usual, and the lady here now does what the lady did in 12 Labours of Herc, ie: makes the food bushes grow, among other things.

Here's the thing: I actually kind of like this series, even the extreme repetitions from one game installment to the next. It's mostly fun, brainless gameplay. Modes: easy, normal, hard but hard ain't overall that hard. Limited settings: sound and music (ugh), cursor and fullscreen. Nowhere to disable hints. The same odd little freezes now and then, at random. Similar hokey casino thingamajig that I always blow off anyway.
What I have an issue with is the quality of this series in comparison to say: Elven Legend or Northern Tale, where care and effort is lavished on the tasks, the style, everything. The graphics! So important, yet here, it's visually OK but virtually static. The comics illustrating the thin storyline--static pictures and text. The water and trees don't move, just mostly some bobbing exclamation points hovering over whatever you're supposed to do. I've played free games with more details and quality graphics touches than this. It comes down to respecting the player who demos your software.
So, yeah, same price tier, bare minimum. Not right. The game is OK, barely. If there's an SE, I'll get it on a decent sale. Maybe. CE? Forget it. Show less

Even if you have never played any of the series before I think you would maybe let it scrape in at OK. However if you have any of the others, don't bother, it's constant boring tasks.
What's new:
*You have to keep your buildings open by lighting alters or they stop producing and are locked off.
*You supplement your food by first growing your own bushes
* There are slugs as another creature

What's new:
*You have to keep your buildings open by lighting alters or they stop producing and are locked off.
*You supplement your food by first growing your own bushes
* There are slugs as another creature of 'removal'
* Standing on two buttons at the same time to remove barriers
What's the same:
*Everything lol, including no connection with the characters or warmth to the game. Just hard no fun slog
* A chest you get your temporary bonus from every few levels
*Wood, gold, food, stone
*A tough timer..stressful not fun.
*Upgrade everything or else..no win
*It does HAVE a strategy guide
* Bonuses like run or work fast etc
*portals, ghosts, markets, and ships
I find the timer on this too tough (all games), and for me personally I never play relaxed, my fun is beating the timer by clever strategy and swift moves. This game is just like spending a day on the slave line to win without any thinking properties. Just go fast, upgrade everything, and stress out.
There is ONE original property of this game and series, and you need it a fair bit..you do not have to clear the road "in order'. You can bypass gold and food to get to wood or a building you wish to get happening so as to get your second worker quicker or supply running.
I honestly had really had enough by the end of the demo. As a CE the only extras are art and music. There are no collectables or much of interest. You cant even see how many extra levels there are ahead of finishing the main game.
Its a wide pass for me as far as purchase. I have never rated this series well and this game is no different. Show less

I so wanted to like this game but the developers have ruined it by giving the same game over and over and then adding the stupid slot machine to get power boosters (it takes several minutes just to spin 1 coin at a time and forever to get the boosters). Also not a fan of the bonus chest.
I don't recommend this game.

I have played all 6 Argonauts Agency Time Management games (demo only, I'm not Wonder Woman ya know?) and it's hard to tell the difference between games! The first game was boring, the second game didn't pick up any speed, the third game went backward, the fourth game spiraled into the dud category, the fifth game joined the fourth, and this game was a complete waste of time! I played the first 5 levels and they were so repetitive and so easy that I could have just kept the clock ticking from the first level and still completed all 5 levels in the time allotted for the first level!
I became so bored that I decided to see how far I could upgrade the Casino-style Equipment. For those of you who haven't played this series, there is an Upgrade feature that allows you to spin the wheel in hopes of getting 3 identical Equipment Icons. You start out with 10 Free Spis, and you will earn +10 Spins for every 5-minutes of gameplay and the spins take so long that by the time you use up all 10 spins, 5-minutes have passed and +10 more spins are added! There are 6 different types of Equipment that either increase or decrease by percentage increments. You have to win each piece of equipment several times for each upgrade (9 x's for the 1st upgrade, 12 x's for the 2nd, 15 x's for the 3rd, 15 x's for the 4th, 18 x's for the 5th, and 21 for the 5th and final upgrade) During the demo alone, I was able to upgrade all but 2 out of 9 Equipment Bonuses to the 3rd Star, out of 5, by repeatedly hitting the spin button! (you can also win +10 free spins) If these bonuses are so easy to get, why do they bother making you spin, why not just give them to us from the start?
Equipment Bonuses to win "Casino Slot-Style:
⛏️Sandals~speeds up the characters.
⛏️Axe~cut down trees faster.
⛏️Shovel~fill holes faster.
⛏️Sword~monster battle time reduced.
⛏️Hammer~speeds up construction.
⛏️Pick~speeds stone breaking time.
You can play in an Untimed, Normal or Hard difficulty mode and it allows you to switch back and forth easily before the start of each level with an icon located above the levels. I do like this feature because sometimes it's helpful to play the first go-round in an untimed mode to figure out what the requirements are, such as what materials are needed for each task (bridges, boulders, etc) and then play the level again in a normal or hard mode, especially when a TM game requires a lot of strategies. Unfortunately, this game doesn't require much strategy so it's wasted potential!
Once again, the game is chock-full of annoying, repetitive, back-and-forth, to-and-fro tasks of rowing a boat to a tiny port, just to pick up a loaf of bread and fill a pot-hole or two. In all fairness, they did throw in a couple of buttons on the islands, the size of a small mountain, that requires sending two workers to hit the buttons simultaneously...how clever. Every level has a million bridges to repair, wooden bridges, stone bridges, long bridges, short bridges, London Bridges, build a bridge, repair a bridge, lather, rinse, repeat.
There's really nothing different here than any other TM game. Build Farms for food, Sawmills for wood, Gold Mines, Quarries for stone and Markets for trading food for specific materials such as Stone or Gold. There are the usual Berry Bushes (ohhh, a new task to grow berry bushes from a seedling. well, at least it gives Medea a reason to move?!?) for a renewable food source, as well as the usual path blockers of thorny vines, bushes, potholes, conveniently cut & stacked wood, stone monoliths "veins", puddles, and large round bread loaves left behind by a kind little old lady with nothing better to do? Now I wonder who left all those gold coins behind?
Once you have collected 5-Stars, you get to open a Treasure Chest located on the bottom left of the Map screen which allows you to choose between three smaller chests to earn extra resources, faster workers, etc. by a percentage. These bonuses automatically take effect, but they are only temporary.
Collector's Edition Extra's:
50 Main Levels, 30 Achievement Trophies, 10 Concept Art pictures, 5 Music Soundtracks, a built-in Strategy Guide (so not needed) and a few extra levels in the Additional Campaign section.
