The better buy in my opinion

In my opinion this is by far the better buy over the CE. However like most diehard TM fans I just could not wait. You still get to find all the caches and although I loved playing the CE, for 6 extra levels it was a big let down.

Most of this is very familiar , build roads, farms etc but these are always very challenging and a joy to play.

One thing I am very pleased to find here is you can now multi click. Before on these games you would need to wait for a worker to return. Not any more.

I bought this game as a Collectors edition and have been playing for months and play it daily. Very entertaining. Must admit I play untimed but there are various levels to play to select from so everyone has a slot. Beautiful graphics and you can chain jobs ahead !! In my opinion this is the best of the Roads of Rome games.

I recommend this game!

I enjoyed playing this game (in relaxed mode of course :-)). It is still a challenge and I get most all of the benefits so I'm happy. Some have felt it confusing but I am thinking they need to play some of the previous Roads games to better understand the later ones. Another thing I like is that this is a many level game and worth the price I think.

The problem I had was getting the game to work past a certain level. The guy in the boat wouldn't go anywhere but I'm well past that now. The other ongoing problem I have is some of the history lessons, they abruptly go away before I can read it all. Hope they fix this. Show less

When I played a demo of the collector's version I gave it 1 star and I was very disappointing with the game. I tried this game again, and I don't know if they made any changes, but I truly enjoyed it.

I always give 3 stars for the storyline as most of the time I am not bothered with. I play with sound off so if any game has annoying sound I do not hear it. Show less

I love the entire RofR and Adelanto/Aztec Skull series and wish there were more. I was really disappointed at not being able to finish New Gen 1 because of a glitch that still hasn't been fixed but what happened to New Gen II??? I hate how the mac versions are delayed. I love the graphics, the game play, the caches and the challenge of the series but this game seems to be way more challenging than ...Show more
