I like the game and have played it often but it's really annoying that where you have to click is such a very small area - unusually so, so you're clicking and moving on then find out it didn't "take" at all. I really wish they would fix this! I like the game and the story is okay but that issue is a bummer.
I recommend the game - as long as you're willing to put up with the above problem.

Great game, fun to play & is challenging. Only one glitch, some items are hard to collect when clicking on them, which gets frustrating.

Have the developers or Big Fish even tested this game for quality? You cannot get past level 6, wait you can but its just frozen there. Even if you click Replay... just frozen. Big Fish has gone downhill really bad that is why I discontinued membership months ago. Whatever happened to fun time management games? The storyline has been done many times before, so it's not exactly original, but running a restaurant seems to be very popular for the time management genre.
The gameplay is enjoyable. It's not too much of a challenge, so you can relax during the rounds, at least the rounds I played. I played 6 rounds.

The gameplay is enjoyable. It's not too much of a challenge, so you can relax during the rounds, at least the rounds I played. I played 6 rounds.
The reason I stopped at 6 rounds was because it, oddly, froze as the screen was starting up on the sixth round. I had to close and come back in, but it did it again, so I just decided to stop playing and uninstall. I also had issues with the game not accepting the mouse clicks. A few times I would click on a customer or the food and realize I, apparently, didn't click them because I would still have food in my hand or would give the food to someone else. I also had an issue with the food disappearing. I would get two coffees, give them to one customer and they'd get both coffees, even though they would only want one.

The concept is interesting, if a bit boring. The music and graphics are bright and upbeat, but the gameplay is a bit annoying with the curser issue and the fact that the game froze trying to go into the sixth round. Show less

I really liked the game, it's fun to play. BUT - yes, it freezes on some levels, but when I clicked replay, it worked. The very, very disappointing part is that there are only 4 different restaurants - then it's "game over". I had truly expected more. The game may be worth half of that $6.99 - that's how short it is. I have now played both versions (CE & SE) and both games have issues at times accepting my click, especially when it involves the Fries. This is a disastrous feature in a Time Management game that requires multi-clicking and the Need For Speed! I can't tell you how many times I would click to give a plate of potatoes to the prep cook to prepare french fries only to move on to the next task and discover the potatoes were still attached to my hand as if they had been duct-taped. The same thing would happen when I would click the fryer, I'd see the checkmark but then they would be stuck to my hand as I moved on. The same thing would happen when I clicked on a customer, and more so when I clicked on the tips so I know it's not my issue when I had to click 3-4 times just to pick up tips!

This kind of issue should never happen, especially in a Time Management game, especially in a TM game where the goal is to wait on customers in a restaurant Diner-Dash scenario at a break-neck speed before they get so angry, they turn beet-red and bail on you without paying! If the bugs aren't worked out...don't release the game, I'm not the only one who complained about this clicking issue in the CE version!

If you don't care about the clicking issue, you can play in a Timed or Untimed mode, I tried both, and fair warning, the customers still get angry when they see you running around with raw french fries duct-taped to your hands and can't deliver them coffee...but it seems the old man doesn't care what happens at the table next to him, he's still going to do a stupid jig before he leaves every single time...I could use some duct tape for this guy, do we have any extra?

This is apparently, a really short game, there are 12 levels in each chapter which has a different style of food for each chapter. The Bar & Grill, Coffee & Pastries, Mexican Restaurant, Trattoria, and Festival. Surely, I will run out of Duct Tape by the time the Festival rolls into town?

After each level, you will use your Tips to purchase Upgrades, it sure would be nice to be able to Upgrade the Prep Cook! I'm running around with french fries duct-taped to my hands and making a little old lady turn beet red, meanwhile, the Prep Cook stands there barely breaking a sweat, chopping up food as he awkwardly stands sideways with a big ole evil grin on his "I don't have a care in the world cuz I have big knives" face whilst doing a tapdance and never looking at the food he's madly chopping up! For all I know, those potatoes are still duct-taped to my hand while he's obliviously slap-chopping away? The only good thing about these upgrades was the fact that they Pre-Warn you about the upgrade that will be the most useful in the preceding level by adding a ribbon next to it. Too bad none of the upgrades include a better cursor clicking option?

The CE version has 6 Wallpapers, 6 Music Soundtracks, Character FAQs, 10 Achievements, 5 Chapters with 12 Levels each, 1 Bonus Level, and a whole lotta angry customers who apparently don't appreciate duct tape!? Show less

The first 5 levels were bad enough but I cannot progress past level 6. Total freeze up and the screen won't even move. The cursor goes left when you want to go right, When it does work for a few seconds, I had to click multiple times to get the character to pick it up. The glitches in this game are too way many to hurry up and release it to make money. This needs to be totall reworked.

I was able to get to level 12 when it froze. There are small blinking flames on 2 of the kitchen equipment and there is a purple post-it note on level 12. Not sure what this means. I was able to get to level 12 when it froze. There are small blinking flames on 2 of the kitchen equipment and there is a purple post-it note on level 12. Not sure what this means. The characters don't respond when I click anywhere on the game. I also tried going back and replaying another level that I successfully already played, but the kitchen equipment has the same blinking flame on it and the game timer doesn't count down and the characters do not respond to any game commands/clicks. This game is also not very intuitive. For instance, you get hamburger if you chop meat before grilling it. However, if you cut the meat after grilling it, you get london broil (or something like that). Took me a minute to figure out how to get the different meat entrees; same for the different coffees and ice cream/smoothie. Show less
