First off I have an apology to make.
I am always telling people to always demo as you never know, even the best games can sometimes have a hiccup.

I went against my own advice here and bought this game without trying the demo and for me I had no worries.

I went against my own advice here and bought this game without trying the demo and for me I had no worries.

As per usual Graphium delivered.
I know that this developer will do the best he can to make sure he provides you with what you want within reason and he will listen to what we say and where he can change things.

Not all developers listen but this one does.
As for the game, once again for me it is brilliant and although does not include the ability to have your own pictures, it does not matter, others of his games do and he has concentrated on Halloween which is what it is all about.

Try the demo and see what you think but for those whom have his other games know you are in for a treat and not a trick. Show less

Sweet Holiday Jigsaws has rescued us from a treatless Halloween. No tricks here! Just hundreds of fun, colorful puzzles to brighten things up around here. AIl the puzzles in the demo are Halloween related and what a fantastic variety of everything spooky, festive and cute. No disappointments! This really put me in the mood. I was beginning to drag out my table puzzles and thankfully that won't have to happen now!

There are lots of features/options that make the game so entertaining and different from the others. A good idea to experiment a little to see how they work. Choose number of pieces from 30 to 1024. Pick your favorite cutout, I love the skulls and paws. After choosing a puzzle to assemble, click the arrows on either side to scroll through the others in the chapter. The close-ups show all the details nice and clear which helps me decide which one I want to do next. Set up your preferences for working the puzzle and you're on your way to a ghoulish good time!

There are 5 chapters with 36 (hope I recall correctly) puzzles in each. Check out the extra challenges and bonuses. Also the images can be used as wallpapers. That right there makes this a very special package! These devs really know how to do it right and I very much appreciate their creativity and efforts to make this such a lovely game. It's all about customer satisfaction. And unless someone is uber hard to please this is a definite winner.

This game makes up for all the rotten ones we've gotten for the "holiday" so far. The demo was delightful and I can hardly wait to dig into the rest of the puzzles. It was an immediate purchase, $$ well spent. This set will be brought out every Halloween to entertain family and friends. And kitties, too, although they prefer the table puzzles! I open a box of old puzzles from time to time for them to play and lay in and knock all over the place. My computer is hooked up to the TV so sharing the fun is simple and even more colorful on the big screen.

I own the other sets from the Sweet Holiday series and there seems no end to the amazing images and hours of relaxing entertainment. Every puzzle is exceptional, sometimes it's hard to choose which one I want to assemble. Show less

I have tried jigsaw games and purchased several, but become frustrated with so many settings. This one is easily doable . Great puzzle choices also, I really like this one. Try it out.

What a fan-tastic game from a developer who has a devoted fan base, including me! I usually never play most of the BFG daily games, being an aficionada of HOPA and adventure games. However, in days of yore, I did play massive jigsaw puzzles from Ravensburger, but playing them on a computer is better – no lost pieces to salvage and no need to deal with jigasaw glue to paste all those pieces together. I have never been one to play jigsaw puzzles online as I have found most boring and lacking any creativity. However, Graphium has developed ones which are unique and can be as challenging as the player wishes.

There are several elements I love about this game. I love the fact that the player can customize the picture puzzles from 30 puzzle pieces to 1,024 pieces. Also, there are various shapes for the connections on the puzzles pieces. I also love the fact that some of the pictures are not just related Halloween. I found this game user friendly with useful features as outlined below.

MECHANICS:

• 36 Puzzles
• Choice of 10 different backgrounds
• Choice of puzzle pieces – 30, 49, 108, 165, 252, 306, 572, 700, 810, 961, 1024
• Shuffle feature – allowing payer to shuffle the pieces
• Zoom function – Zoom in and zoom out of the pictures.
• Feature which shows only the edge pieces
• Preview feature which shows you the finished picture
• Auto-solve to place some pieces into place to help solve the puzzle
• For an extra challenge – a function to add extra non-related pieces into the picture to be solved

Personally, I try to buy from people not companies. This developer is a frequent guest to our forum ,Pond Friends, interacting with us, asking for our input on his games. He sends us screenshots on his games and answers questions concerning his games. To be honest, usually I just ignore most of the developers on our forum; however, I was hooked by the beautiful pictures from his games and his creative genius. An extra bonus to me is that this developer is a nice guy and like me, an avid mushroom hunter! He sold me on his games with his first mushroom picture! I do love the skeleton under the mushroom as one of the pictures. I cannot wait until the Christmas game appears!

Another new company to do my gaming with I started doing jigsaws in my hidden object games as segments in the games and this is the first series to play for my jigsaw games I also played Sweet Holiday Jigsaws: Halloween Night if I reviewed this game I would have given it 5*

There are 5 Chapters with 36 Customizable images per chapter. You can choose from 10 different Puzzle Piece shapes, such as batwing or werewolf tabs, and my personal favorite, a simple square with no tabs at all. There are 10 different background colors/patterns to choose from, and you can Ghost the image or show a picture preview. There is a Hint feature, an auto-solve, border only, shuffle, and zoom feature as well. You can also choose to use the left or right mouse to drag the board and you can adjust the brightness and warmth of the screen.

I would love to see a few more features added such as the ability to grab several pieces to move them around, even better to have a sorting feature and a feature to align puzzle pieces easily. I loved the creepy audio FX with owls hooting in the background. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and there are plenty of puzzles to keep this puzzle geek happy for quite some time!

I love these type of jigsaw puzzle games. But this game does not have an icon which shows which puzzles you have completed already. I don't know if I'm missing something or not but there is nothing in settings to fix this and there is no forum on this game yet. That is the only reason I can't give this 5 stars.
