The visuals are a bit washed-out and in the hidden items part, are very hard to see as a result. This game had potential but there were some buggy things that made me delete it. The music was inconsistent and when I disliked the change, could not turn it off. The music and sound effects can be brought very low, but not silenced all the way. The music was inconsistent and when I disliked the change, could not turn it off. The music and sound effects can be brought very low, but not silenced all the way. I hit a bug very early where the items on the screen continually swirled as the timer counted down. Trying to restart the level crashed not only the game, but my computer. Not my cup of tea. I actually loved a few features in this game and I didn't really mind the fact that it was a chain-type Match 3 game, but...Frozen is an appropriate title because the game kept freezing on me and I had to use the escape tab to exit the game!

I actually loved a few features in this game and I didn't really mind the fact that it was a chain-type Match 3 game, but...Frozen is an appropriate title because the game kept freezing on me and I had to use the escape tab to exit the game!

You can play in a Timed mode or Untimed mode which doesn't allow you to earn Achievements or Cups (Gold, Silver, Bronze) The Match 3 itself requires dragging chains of tiles with the goal of making matches on all Sand Tiles, some of which require two matches when they are blue tiles.

Obstacles include Chained Tiles, Frozen Tiles, Octopus/Squids? that have to be moved, and a Crab that needs to be guided to a Key and then to a chest (be sure to include the chest as the last matched tile, it won't show up as being included but it was the only way I could get the chest open)

My favorite was the Hidden Object Scenes where you had to find cogs, springs, photo fragments, etc. This was a really challenging HO especially when trying to earn a Gold Cup on the timed mode. I do hope First Games Interactive decides to offer a Hidden Object Game just like this...I will give that game 5-Stars!!! (pretty please :)

There are Matching Memory Clam games and Jigsaw Puzzles but I had issues picking up some of the jigsaw pieces (they would drop or be off-center and not placable without re-grabbing them because they wouldn't grab in the center of the piece so you couldn't get the piece to the top portion. Because of these glitches, it was difficult to earn a Gold Cup and I'm pretty darn good at Jigsaw puzzles!

I really like this genre if it is cleverly designed but, this is a chain match which is not my favorite. The story is the timeworn tale of the evil villain vs. the good gal. Not much interest because the story is so hackneyed. There are also puzzles (too simple) and HOGs which are too difficult (for me to enjoy on a time limit). But all that changed after the 1st hiddon object scene where the items are actually hidden from view, as in there is no way to see them. Oh well, on to the next level.... oh dear. Whatever you do, don't let a pink octopus get caught behind a chained tile that needs to be removed. Lining up 3 of them borders on the impossible since there is no way to move them around the board. Yeah, sometimes they will make a move as the tiles adjust after removing a string of tiles, but other than that, there is no way to move them to line up next to the pink octopus behind the chain. And there are no tools or spells to get rid of the doggone thing.

Coulda been fun, wish it had been. Show less

I just don't get the way the crab moves. There does not seem to be any consistence and there are only so many times I am willing to redo a level. It all became to tiresome. I wish I had not bought it. Don't like this one

I only played until the board in which you have to make the crab get the key at the bottom right and take it to the chest at the bottom left. He doesn't go in the same manner each time (he is supposed to move in the direction in which you make the matches) but it is impossible to get him to go right into the corner square. I finally gave up in frustration.
Sorry, but this game is NOT fun and only made me mad. Show less

I had high hopes for this one during a TM drought but nope! The colors are so dull it's hard to see anything and make out shapes. The hidden objects are ridiculously hidden to the point where you can only find them with hints. You can't move things to find them. Dull gameplay and not worth the money for sure!
