Relaxing, but needs thinking about too

After heavier, timed or dashing games, it's good to sit back with something a bit easier-going, but still challenging to a degree. I don't mind limited moves, especially when they are as generous as you get here (so far at least, I have not yet completed the 200 or so levels).

As with many games, a lot of reviews seem overly harsh to me. It's a GAME. Try it first. If you like it, get it, if not then don't. This game struck me as gentle, cute, doable and a nice change from all the rough and tumble of other games. I bought it for the change of pace and for the shift in thinking needed - nothing difficult, just different. Show less

The graphics and concept are simple: get the rabbits from the left side to cross the field and get to their respective carrots on the right side, but they can only walk in a straight line and only when the whole path is clear.

The graphics and concept are simple: get the rabbits from the left side to cross the field and get to their respective carrots on the right side, but they can only walk in a straight line and only when the whole path is clear.

This is not a match-3 game; you're removing a pair of tiles that must match the one shown in the upper right corner; you have a clear a row for the rabbit to reach the carrot. Once the row has been cleared, the tiles above the cleared row will fall down (and probably impact the work you've done clearing the path for another of your rabbits).

Obstacles are introduced gradually, and the difficulty ramps up. You have a limited number of moves to get ALL the rabbits across the field; boosters (a hammer to destroy 1 tile, a swapper that allows to exchange 2 tiles on the board, and fireworks that will destroy a few random tiles) can be purchased with the coins you earn.

It's not as easy as it seems after a while because strategy will become essential. Don't let the cute graphics fool you.

Some people will review the game after playing 10 minutes, not getting a true sense of the challenge; their loss! It reminds me of how games like "Clear It" look simple but become quite challenging.

This game might be the 1st I'll be spending some points on this coming Monday (the big cutover day!) Show less

At first, the graphics didn't seem attractive to me. However, after giving it a chance, I found that the game is interesting and truly offers a fun factor. It's not exactly a match 3, it's different, you have to remove pairs... but it's good for a relaxing time

I only played a few levels of the demo. Maybe it gets better?

The super pedestrian graphics look like something a pre-schooler may enjoy. Most phone games have way more detail in 2022.
This feels like a Free Play game. Maybe I'd play it as a Free Game app on my phone waiting somewhere. The concept of removing 2ea. patterns were good but I think the reviews before me are accurate. This game ...Show more

This game doesn't really translate well to a PC game and I'm surprised it is being offered at a PC price which is double that of the phone apps. Show less

I hate playing games with limited moves and this game is too late for Easter. The sound wasn't good even though the graphics were bright. I have played many games in the past with limited moves and I hated them

Your second clue is written in the BF synopsis:
"Quick note: Greedy Bunnies doesn't have a traditional exit option in the main menu. To exit the game properly, and ensure your game is saved, use the escape key."

Your third clue is that the gameplay is simple (NO, really?) Bunnies will hop up to the left side of the board at random times and you must clear a horizontal path so they can eat their carrot, a few unfortunate bunnies don't get rewarded with a carrot, they are forced to go down the rabbit hole, aka... enter a dark random cave??

You will be shown 2 color-coded tiles on the top right and you click or swipe that combination on the board horizontally or vertically until all bunnies reach their carrots...or that dark cave. (there are 204 levels so please tell me that eventually you'll be tasked with swiping more than two tiles?) If a horizontal line on the board is emptied, all the tiles will fall down one line at a time to fill in the gap so I suppose you could call this a challenge? Also, swiping tiles vertically could potentially get you in a bind, leaving gaps with no adjacent tiles available.

After playing a few levels, I hopped over to the Endless Challenge mode and the game had to reshuffle the tiles a whopping 24 times because "there are no possible moves available" After clearing all but a few tiles, my quest was to remove a Red/Blue combination but the only tiles remaining were 4 Blues and 3 Oranges and none of those tiles were adjacent. Does that mean I lost? I have no clue because it didn't reshuffle my tiles, it didn't tell me I lost, it didn't prompt me to replay...it just sat there showing me a Red/Blue combination while the 4 remaining bunnies hopped up and down in anticipation of the carrots they will never get to eat?? Great, now I feel horrible!

Like all apps, you can purchase tools or powerups, a Hammer to remove a tile, a Swapper that allows you to swap tiles, and Fireworks to destroy several random tiles on the board. The only obstacle I came across was a Stone that blocks the starving bunnies but it can be dropped down by making matches under them.

Wow, I had to hit the Escape key in order to exit the game? When was this thing created? Graphics are juvenile, looking as if they were drawn by a child. Even most phone/tablet games have better interfaces and graphics than this. Charging full PC game price isn't cool.

For me it is so incredibly easy and really did not see much change in challenge apart from more bunnies and stones that became tree stumps after a while.

that it would become more of a challenge.

Why on earth you have to press escape on your pc instead of in the game is an indication of a very cheap game just in my opinion.

Alarm bells rang straight away when the game downloaded in 5 seconds.

Young children will probably love this with the cute bunnies.
Maybe it does get more challenging but after 40 levels I had had enough.

Try the demo and see what you think but for me it is a big no
and the 2nd duff mobile game in a week converted to pc.

We are all different so some of you may like it . Show less

To say it was not fun is an understatement. It takes several swipes to remove the tiles, the game is sluggish, the obstacles do little to make it challenging. There are different color combinations of tiles, pictured in upper right corner, that you need to swap to get the bunny to the carrot. 3 boosters are available for a price. They do their job just fine but after testing their abilities I really found no need to use them. I was able to finish 28 levels in the demo, all with 3 stars, very easily. Really, what's the point of just going back and forth to get a carrot? There's got to be more to it to capture one's interest and make it fun.

The graphics are super plain and simple in design, artwork is very juvenile, tiles are huge and unattractive. Just a few basic colors used for everything. The number of bunnies increases as the game progresses and I thought it would change the challenge to make it less ho-hum. Not so! I'd have to be out of my mind to play all 205 levels. It would be brain-numbing boredom all the way, surrounded by hungry bunnies.

Use the ESCAPE KEY to leave the game. I had no desire to stay in the carrot patch and ended my demo after 35 minutes. This game may appeal to others, especially non-adults. It was tedious, for me, because nice visuals and stimulating gameplay were missing. Maybe you'll find the demo more enjoyable than I did. Show less
