Everyone knows "It isn't Christmas until Christmas Wonderland arrives" and this is a game tradition I look forward to even more than the Christmas HOPAs which always seem to be a hit or miss. I don't care how repetitive, or how cheesy this game series is, year after year, they are an instant buy for me and always will be. It's like that feeling you get when you bring out your favorite sweater or a favorite pair of warm boots for the winter. It's the feeling you get as you decorate your tree and turn on some Christmas Music. Now it feels like Christmas...Hang on to your Reindeers and Ho, Ho, Ho...Let the Holidays Begin!

Are people who are scared of Father Christmas Claustrophobic?

Where do elves go to dance?
Christmas balls.

When Santa’s in your room, can you sense his presents?

You can play in Casual, Challenge, or Extreme difficulty mode, which is a Timed Mode requiring you to find all Golden Angels and Lost & Found items to earn all three stars. There are 18 Achievements to earn and 16 Christmas Presents to purchase, and you can see the presents you've purchased by clicking on the Christmas Presents Display Tab on the Top of the screen, opposite of the Shopping Cart Icon where they are purchased,

Each Hidden Object scene has about 29 Listed Items to find, items in Red are hidden in or behind something, and items in Blue require a task such as dragging a Flag to the flagpole, or putting a nose on the snowman. There are usually two Zoom Zone Areas in each scene, the zoom zones (indicated by twinkling stars) may come and go, depending on whether or not the items are available on your list yet.

You will earn a Bronze Star if you complete the HO scene, a Silver Star if you complete the HO scene and find all Golden Angels OR all Lost & Found Items, and a Gold Star for completing the HO scene and finding all Golden Angels and Lost and Found Items. When all of the Golden Angels have been found, the doors will close on the Icon on the bottom left by the Inventory Bar. The Lost and Found Items are shown as Silhouetted Shapes within the Snowglobe and Santa's Sleigh will appear to indicate all items have been found. Remember, you will not earn all 3-stars if you don't find all 3 lost & found items and all golden Angels in each scene.

Some of the Scenes have a Photo Opportunity Icon located somewhere within the scene. Once you find the icon, you can click on it to add the photo to your Photo Album which can be viewed by clicking the Camera icon located next to the trophy icon on the bottom left of the screen.

My favorite part of the HO games by this developer is the puzzles! Yes, they are the same puzzles, yes, they are super easy, but they are still fun and I still feel like a kid on Christmas morning playing them! After each Hidden Object Scene, you'll solve a simplistic mini-game or puzzle such as placing those infamous puzzle pieces into Springfield's map, Rotating Square Puzzle Tiles, Jigsaw Puzzles, Word Search, Matching Pairs, or Spot the Difference.

Collector's Edition Extra's
The CE Bonus Levels have been incorporated into the main game scenes and have Gold Rosette Ribbons to identify them. There are 18 Wallpapers, 20 downloadable Music Soundtracks, and 48 Replayable Mini-Games and Puzzles.

I wait all year long for these type games! Such a beautiful game and no fussy inventory lists or going back and forth from scene to scene to figure something out! Sometimes you just want to sit and play a Hidden Object game that's fun with no zombies trying to get you! Please keep bringing this game each year!

You have every bit of chintz you could want in this game and for me, and I know others, it is wonderful.
The HO games are very challenging for me which I like and some of the objects are not easy to find but that is what makes this game and all the others this dev gives us.

What I would like to finish with though is to remind some that if you have a fault with a game please contact customer service and not give an excellent game 1 star or other low rating because of a fault problem that is more likely to be with the set up . When the Direct x set up comes up at the beginning if you have played these games before you just need to cancel it which I do every time and it always works perfectly.

Failing that report it to Customer services and they hopefully will be able to help.

Yes, it is cheesy. But also lighthearted, full of love and perfectly done. The Hidden Objectgames by this developer are the only ones I like in the genre, they never get boring to me.

What do you get when you cross a snowman with a vampire? frostbite.

I too wait all year for this game. I get totally immersed in the beautiful scenes. This game will delight even the grinchy-est person. It's festive, it's colorful and its fun.

Merry Christmas! Get ready to immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Christmas. This is a festive game chock full of Christmas goodies. If this game does not get you into the holiday spirit, nothing will!

I do not play most HOP games, preferring HOPA games instead. I played my first game from this developer last year and became a “Winter Wonderland” aficionada. This game is as good as the one I played last year and has a similar format as well.

It is a long game jam-packed with all the beauty and merriment of the holiday season. One thing I like about this game are the extra goodies which are provided such as the wide array of Christmas songs and Christmas wallpapers. I love the Christmas songs playing in the background. The menu allows you to choose between twenty (20) Christmas songs to listen to. Do you want to add Christmas wallpaper to spruce up your computer? There are eighteen (18) beautiful wallpapers to choose from. This year there is an advent calendar with twenty-five (25) numbered slots to open throughout the game, each containing a present.

The game consists of a series of HOP scenes in which you search for items within a festive Christmas environment including Santa’s headquarters at the North Pole As you locate items, you are rewarded coins which can be used to purchase Christmas presents.

Within the HOP scenes there are gold angels and lost objects to locate. A photo must be taken within some of the scenes. There are also many interactive activities to engage in to find some of the items. The scenes are jam packed with items and I found some difficult to locate. You can earn three (3) stars for each scene played - one for finding all the angels, one of finding all the lost items and one for finding all the items listed. You can also earn eighteen (18) achievements.

Alternating between the HOP scenes is a puzzle. The puzzles are varied. There are various types of picture puzzles - jigsaw puzzles, flipsaw puzzles, and rotating tiles puzzles. There are also other puzzles such as matching, word searches, concentration puzzles, and spot-the-difference puzzles. There are forty-eight (48) additional puzzles which can be played at the end of the game. In this game you are timed.

• 48 additional puzzles to play
• Collect coins to purchase 16 Christmas presents.
• Collect gold angels and lost items
• 18 Lost and Found items within the scenes
• 18 Achievements
• 18 Wallpapers

• Advent calendar with 25 days, each hiding a present
