Another Awesome Game From These Match 3 Masters

These developers really do know how to keep us entertained and each and every time they give us a different mechanic.

This time we have runes which you need to find on the board in the right order to release a section.

I am a fair bit in to this game and it does get very tricky and a wonderful addition to what is already a wonderful series.

This time we have runes which you need to find on the board in the right order to release a section.

I am a fair bit in to this game and it does get very tricky and a wonderful addition to what is already a wonderful series.

All the usual features are here and the shields do make an appearance but not in my demo time,

They seem to have improved the hints section which is a great asset further in to the game. It will even remind you that you are taking the longer route and give you the opportunity to restart the level.
I am always in awe of the great minds that develop these games and many other match 3 games fail to provide us with the challenge we all crave for but these devs never fail and they are one of the very few that I just know I will purchase.

Try the demo, see what you think. If you have never played any of these games before then you may be better off with an earlier game just to get used to how these work.

For me, these are always a purchase.

I am always amazed that this developer continually and constantly finds ways to add new elements to each game version to keep it fresh and challenging. I have all of the Cursed House games and will be adding this one to my collection. I am always amazed that this developer continually and constantly finds ways to add new elements to each game version to keep it fresh and challenging. I agree with HeavenBound and Cyril in their great reviews. I also agree with Cyril that if you have never tried this series, starting with an earlier version would probably be a good idea. I've played them all and when the opening level of this game popped up, my first thought was "Oh my goodness, what do I do with this?" I hit the "hint" button and it was beautifully explained and I was off to the races. I've always said that the only problem I have with these games (and Larauville) is that I can't stop playing them. I switch into a totally obsessive mode when I hit the "play" button. Don't call and don't write because I won't answer while I'm trying to get all those coins. These are such superb games. Kudos to the developer for such a fabulous series that continues to improve with each installment. Show less

A great way to start my Monday! I love this series, everything about it. The excellent challenge keeps it from becoming boring, the strategy keeps my brain from dozing off, I'm forced to lay out a plan to get me to those coins. It's not impossibly difficult but requires extra thought and time.

A great way to start my Monday! I love this series, everything about it. The excellent challenge keeps it from becoming boring, the strategy keeps my brain from dozing off, I'm forced to lay out a plan to get me to those coins. It's not impossibly difficult but requires extra thought and time.

The tasks we become engaged in can be so frustrating sometimes, at least for me, to achieve the ultimate goal of collecting the gold coins. It isn't a rush job that can be accomplished in a short sitting. I always get a big feeling of satisfaction from this game.

I own all the Cursed Houses and enjoy them frequently. The first one was an exciting new twist on Match 3 games at the time and is still a favorite. The mini-games aren't abundant, just enough for a break from the steady coin endeavor. My favorite is Find the Difference, well designed and quite challenging. I refuse to use a hint, so it can take a chunk of time to complete.

Every Cursed House has a little something new about it which keeps it fresh and fun. I noticed, too, that the Hint feature has been tweaked a bit this time and is a little more helpful. The graphics are always sharp and colorful, the tiles are cool and we have a new one today. The mechanics are cleverly designed to keep the game interesting all the way through. There are never any tech issues and there is no lagging between levels. Number 10 is a definite buy for me. Banishing spirits is more fun than ever. This game may not appeal to everyone but I would encourage you to try it if it's new to you. If you like Laruaville you will see some similarity. Thanks to the devs for this unique game that never fails to bring me fun and satisfaction. Show less

This is altogether a most welcome relief from the "distressed-damsel-meets-beleaguered-prince" (& myriad variations thereof) movies that populate this season, a very deep moat that I'd fallen into during a long (mostly) dry spell of games ~ I'd much rather be busy wearing my thinking cap & restoring the Castle in a game than watching battles w/ the evil housekeeper & begging the butler for waltzing lessons in a movie, as a fun form of holiday stress relief!

#10 in this series does not disappoint ~ the 'House' this time is a very derelict Castle in every sense of the word, creepily grander than ever, while sporting a bit more color than previously, making the 'Spot the Difference' & 'Find the Hidden Objects' puzzles more interesting, IMHO. The graphics improve w/ every new game in this series, & the artists have outdone themselves once again! The Runes tiles addition are a new twist, bringing yet another layer of challenge to the gameplay & a lovely artistic fit w/ the castle theme.

Last, but NOT least ~ the Scarab ( or ladybug?) & Emerald mini-puzzles are back ~ I have absolutely LOVED these since they were added (CH #7, I think??). They really stretch my brain cells, & I adore the sound of their little feet padding around on the stones as they are dispatched to push the emeralds to their squares. I've played 2 so far, & they don't disappoint ~ I've happily bought the past few games almost for this side challenge alone, & would definitely buy a game mostly composed of this type of strategy puzzle!

As always, DO try the demo for yourself to see if it's 'your cuppa tea' or 'cocktail'(!), & Happy Holidays to all ~ may your Season be Merry & Brighter for this newest chapter of Cursed House ~ Cheers! Show less

Sone levels are pretty easy and some I had to replay a couple of times. Those who gave up on level one are missing an amazing long and challenging game and the satisfaction of completing each level. Show less

I am loving this new edition to Cursed House. The designers have added yet another new twist to add even more intensity to the levels and while it took me a few levels to get used to them, have to say I love it! The developers have out done themselves this time. If you thought 9 was a challange, you are in for a suprise.
The initial instructions were a little lacking but the game was not hard to figure out the steps needed to continue the game. I think the developers have pulled out all of the stops this time and Cursed House 10 is a definate winner.

I recommend this game!

I love to shift between these versions of the game (3, 7, 8, 9 and 10) because they have some interesting differences, and all are very addicting to play. For some reason this feels totally different to all other match 3 games. Can't explain it, but I just love them.

I enjoyed this game and finished it and I am still playing the levels after completing the main game. Initially, I found it very weird and I thought I might not like it, but with the dearth of games being offered for play this year, I bought it and I am glad I did. However, I can say that I still find it weird and I have no idea how I won some levels.
