I don't even know how many times I've played this now. It is so much fun for me. Story line is engaging, characters are awesome - I love how Frank keeps getting himself in trouble! I really have no complaints about this game at all. The one thing I might like to see is a description of the food items because I find myself wondering what they are, but that's not a complaint at all. I hope the ...Show more

I normally like these timed games. However, this one is a little rudiment in it's graphics. The characters movement is not smooth and as I was playing the game before I bought it, the game locked up twice. That being said, I enjoyed the game and the challenges and would have bought it if it hadn't kept having technical issues.

On the first tutorial level, the customer wanted the "blue" cereal when in reality they needed the normal flavored cereal so I was confused right from the get-go. The waitress doesn't carry a serving tray, the food is shown on the inventory bar and at times I could have sworn I had the right combinations but by the time I got to the customer, I'd realized something was wrong.

As others have stated, this game can be a little glitchy which is a pity because it seems like it would be really fun. I gave up on it after just a few levels because I was getting frustrated with the game mechanics, freezing issues, and clicks not being recognized, particularly when trying to add milk or fruit to the cereal!

Speaking of cereal, Yustas needs to work on making dishes more colorful and not so identical in appearance. It's hard to tell the difference between cereals the customers are requesting which are identical in shape and way too similar in color (very pale tan, or very light blue color variation), and it's hard to tell what ingredients are supposed to be added to some of the special requests because they aren't bright and colorful, and they don't have detailed graphics, in fact, every food item is similar in color. In my opinion, there needs to be a sharp contrast that allows the player to immediately know which condiments to add, we shouldn't have to waste time trying to figure out if we need to add this or that!

You can play in an Easy, Normal, or Hard difficulty mode, the higher the difficulty mode, the more money you will have to earn to finish levels in Gold (3 stars). There are 50 Main Levels and a handful of side quest levels as well. You can earn more points when you multi-task, such as, serving complete orders in one trip or checking out multiple customers.

The points allow you to purchase upgrades to the kitchen to help you with automation, ease of cooking or serving, or speeding up characters or cooking processes.

The Collector's Edition version has 30 Reward Trophies to ear, 3 Wallpapers. 7 Character Bios, 50 Main Levels, and 10 Bonus Levels (+side quest levels) The BF synopsis claim to have downloadable Soundtracks but I certainly didn't see any? This SE version still has 50 Main Levels and 7 Character Bios.

I will start by saying that I really, really like the first game in this series and think it as one of the best, recent TM games of the 'cooking type'. I was disappointed with this one.

The pros:

- Colorful graphics, interesting dishes (in most cases) and challenges to be had. The storyline is kind of cute.
- Okay music, not annoying enough for me to want to turn it off straight away.
- Overall, the challenge feels good for each level.

The cons:

- Very unstable on my Mac for some reason despite being a Unity engine game. The first one was a bit unstable but nothing like this second game.
- I did not like the last restaurant at all: the dishes we had to prepare, the layout of the kitchen, the theme. I liked all of the restaurants in the first game, so this was a big negative for me.
- Some things are hard to click on: the occasional seagull in the fourth restaurant, the milk jug in the third restaurant (easy to click on the coffee machine instead), sometimes misses clicks on some of the more complex dishes like the Spanish tortilla.
- This is also true for the first game: the dark brown chocolate sauce on either purple or brown ice-cream makes it hard to distinguish between them.
- I also found some of the food icons to be really small (onions in the meatball pockets are hard to see especially if under tomatoes).

It breaks my heard but I don't recommend this game for the reasons I gave above. Show less

Similar to Baking Bustle and Julie's Sweets. This game doesn't have instructions in chapters for preparing new items. The order you click some of the ingredients/cooking implements matters. I had to replay a couple levels once I figured out exactly how to create the item the customer wanted. Also, some of the items you need to customize are really detailed and are hard to see on an average laptop (i.e. a pita with peppers only vs a pita with peppers and onions or a kabob with a thin stripe of white sauce versus tan sauce). I don't like that you can't purchase multiple upgrades if you've had a really good round (unless you've saved up money and not spent it after previous rounds). Basically, you're really good rounds don't get you that much more than a mediocre performance. The storyline is better than most; its not about a female needing a man to provide support for her to succeed in her profession/quest or overly focused on romantic relationships (there are still some relationship aspects, but it isn't super dramatic). Trying the trial game and it ,locked up on Level 5 whenever the guy tries to restock the cupcakes, and I retried multiple times. I would have bought it if not for that
