This puzzle game has all the features I enjoy using - borders, sort, highlight and drag whatever you highlight so large groups of puzzle pieces can be moved at once. You can change shape of pieces, change number of pieces, which allows for maximum challenge if that's what you are looking for. This puzzle game has all the features I enjoy using - borders, sort, highlight and drag whatever you highlight so large groups of puzzle pieces can be moved at once. You can change shape of pieces, change number of pieces, which allows for maximum challenge if that's what you are looking for. The only thing I thought was missing was the ability to make the picture larger on the screen. Some of the dark pieces lose the detail because they are so small. Show less

Seems like it was just yesterday when Legends of Mystery 3 was offered, oh wait, that did actually happen. I never did figure out the "mystery" and now I have a new mystery to solve...why do the images look so blurry???

Seems like it was just yesterday when Legends of Mystery 3 was offered, oh wait, that did actually happen. I never did figure out the "mystery" and now I have a new mystery to solve...why do the images look so blurry???

Supposedly, there are Achievement Trophies to earn and a Top Scores leaderboard. There are no options to access any of those features to find out what achievements you are striving to achieve. You can save your puzzle's progress but you can't save the completed puzzle image nor can you download the image as a screensaver or wallpaper, you can't even admire the completed image because they disappear within seconds of completion. Where did it go? Perhaps this is part of the mystery?

There is a box to store extra pieces, but there are no options to categorize, label, or sort these stored pieces, nor is there an option to fetch or retrieve certain pieces because you can't sort and label these stored pieces. The current sort option simply scrambles the pieces supposedly to the correct area, such as the top, bottom, right, or left side. Most of the time there seems to be no rhyme or reason for how or why the pieces are sorted the way they are, yet another mystery.

There is an option to post a Pictured Image of the puzzle you are working on which also allows you to choose three different sizes. You can also opt to Ghost the Image on the Background, however, there's no option to choose the Opaqueness of the Ghosted Image to make the image more or less visible, depending on how difficult you want the puzzle assembly to be. The "ghosted image isn't "ghosted" it's simply a large, stationary picture, very mysterious indeed.

There is an available Magnifying Glass to enlarge sections, as well as a Hint feature in case you get stumped. You can easily become "stumped" because the puzzle pieces never appear to match with either the shape or the color!? You can also choose the Resolution, opt for a single Custom Cursor (a tiny cursor at that!) or change the color of the background to a pastel shade of Pink, Green, Blue, or Gray. Even though they are pastels, these basic color options tend to be too dark with most of the puzzles, why they can't add an option to adjust the brightness of the background is a Mystery to me!

Just put this 4th edition of Legend of the Mysteriously Missing Mystery Puzzles in the rearview mirror and head on over to my new forum at thewoodsforum.boards.net Show less

I'm sure it will because there are people who will actually buy it. I was dismayed at finding a close replica of Mystery 3, the difference being the number in the title. It is remarkable that this dev keeps reappearing at BF when they offer nothing to justify the cost of their games nor do they have a clue to what good entertainment is all about.

The puzzles are very unappealing. 8 Floor is obsessed lately with pumpkins and creepy subject matter. None of the images make any sense, to me. Why THESE photos out of the zillions of beautiful, interesting ones available? Why THESE ugly things?? Find a new source, hire a new photographer, maybe just quit putting out jigsaw games!

The models again look ridiculous, food on a plate is not appealing, the staged settings just keep getting worse. There seems to be no attempt to create anything lovely. Just take the camera and click, click, click whatever looks the gloomiest or least attractive. And there you have it, another 8 Floor disaster! No changes or improvements ever. Good grief, they don't even bother to remove 1001 from the title! There are only 500 puzzles and that's way too many when they are all so bad.

The reviewers' comments and suggestions clearly do not matter to 8 Floor, IF they are read at all. I don't understand the attraction to this dev, BFG can't be THAT desperate for games. Are they under a magic spell or something? There are plenty of eager devs out there just waiting to be discovered. Give them a break and see what developes. Really, this is all terribly sad and it certainly has an impact on the quality of this site and, I would think, on the club memberships. If a game is no good, not even the lowest discount price will encourage me to purchase.

As mentioned before, I do try every demo just in case something wonderful awaits. A never-ending wait it seems but who knows, maybe some day that miracle will arrive. Show less

Horrible pictures, wouldn't waste my time on this. I'm a big puzzle fan but this is awful.

It's a mystery why they made this...blurry pictures...online jigsaws are great when they're good and this was not good...you've given us some great ones and then there are those that give the same mediocre ones...the pictures are a nice selection but the presentation is bad.

I don't recommend this game.
