This game was in depth with it's story line and was challenging. It's not your average hidden object game so you might have to look up a strategy guide or go to game boomers for hints.

Yes, it's an older game that was removed for whatever reason and now it's back. I don't remember playing this game so I thought I'd see for myself and I'm really glad I did!

It may be a retro point & click adventure but the game mechanics are flawless and the graphics are decent enough to enjoy the ride. This is a thinking kind of game and even though there isn't a hint feature, it does have several walkthroughs available online. I had trouble right from the get-go wondering how to apply the scroll but once I figured out how to use the inventory (or read it lol) I was hooked on this incredibly interesting mystery!

Once you visit a location, you can double click with the arrow pointing to the desired path, to quickly go back, saving a lot of point & click walking. You can read or examine areas that have a magnifying glass, if it can be added to your inventory a hand icon appears to take the object. Some items need to be combined so if you can't use an object that seems logical, try combining it with 1 or 2 other inventory items.

When this game came out way back in 2009, I was new to casual games and pretty much played hidden object games. Fast forward more than 10 years later with more than a few hidden object games under my belt, I am comfortable tackling an older adventure game.
I am not quite sure why BFG released or re-released this game since it doesn't appear that it has been remastered. The graphics appear to be the same early attempts at transitioning characters from 2D to 3D, including the awkward way the characters gesture and wall. Also be prepared to go through a lot of dialogue, which going through it all is probably necessary IMO. You can still find the original walk-through from BFG and other sites if you get stuck. Overall, I enjoyed playing the demo. Show less

Old style adventure game, be prepared for some walking even though it does let you double click to places you've been before. The ending was very dissatisfying and it just CTD instead of giving you any kind of closure for all the story that got built up.

I recommend this game!

the game itself was fun, when bigfish released it... over 13yrs ago(april2009) im disappointed that this company no longer puts out original games. the 'new' games are the same old scenes just new graphics.

I don't recommend this game.

Was able to set to my PC's resolution, scant options but were enough. I love the look of these graphics, beautiful artwork and colors, nice soft music. Some narrative, the dialogue is a must.

It's unlikely anyone can move through the game faster than a snail's pace, takes time and patience to get around.

I'm not great at this kind of game, feels like an older one, navigation was frustrating. The cursor changes color according to task at hand, gathering inventory easy to figure out but you won't have hand holding or hints to guide you along the way. The dialogue is very helpful.

Can't provide much more info than that I'm afraid! I'm interested in the story but afraid I'll abandon the game early on due to frustration. So this will be a no purchase for me. Show less

If only fast travel, than double clicking was possible, puzzles were more simpler to solve, items needed to be collected sparkled, a better ending, and a bonus game to fully explain Ian's side of the story.

I recommend this game!

Every time I try to start the game it flashes the screen and says "you own this game. Play with no time limits" Screw no time limits it won't even start. Gave a 1 because 0 wasn't available.

I don't recommend this game.
