I am confused with some reviews

First off in my opinion this is an excellent game and I have a lot of TM games.
I read with interest one review that says they could not find the money bags in level 2.
I have replayed level 2 twice now on different modes and you do not require money bags or even any gold in level 2.
The money bags turn up in level 4 and they replenish all the time so find this statement rather confusing,

I would recommend that you keep the tutorial on at least to start anyway as it does clearly explain things. Yes it can be a bit annoying keep stopping the game but they do get far less the further in you get.

We are all different and have different views to a game which is why trying the demo to the end of the demo is very important. I do not find this in any way boring and there is now so much to do it is really challenging. I do however appreciate everyones opinions so please take in all the reviews and then make your own mind up.

I am really enjoying finding all the flowers and assembling the Jigsaw. You can always return to a level to find any flowers you have missed . Each assembled bouquet gives you one jigsaw piece.
The further in you get there are different towers including one that doubles your resources.

I am very much enjoying this game but at the end of the day it is down to each individual to make their own mind up and by all means take in what all the reviews say and then make your own decision which is why trying the demo is very important. Show less

It would be easy to mark this series down as 'same old' after all this time. But it's not. Whilst the familiar feel of Wonderland and it's characters are here, they have tried to add new features.

The first is instead of paint palettes there is an imp? that pops up and disappears you must click to get your artwork done. And there are many collectables on each level 'chatty flowers' which are shown on the ? third tab bottom right of levels..and these are how you get your puzzle pieces. They will meld together on the right of screen if you have them all.

But what I like is that you can not only change difficulty for each level, but just go back and get your flowers and leave once found. They show on the map too. There is an adventure map which is also artwork as you progress

The story is that Alice is returning to Wonderland, but sleeping sickness has taken over, and the first suspects, the ' sleeping shrooms' are not the ones responsible. So you and doormouse must find the culprit, as no amount of chatting to keep awake works for long. So its light humor shows. And the graphics are colorful indeed and the gameplay very smooth. You also have great choices for able or disable most functions.

Its busy! A great mix of tasks so no boredom. And I often had to go back for my collectables as getting the imp and figuring the gameplay for 'which building'? to do was often all I could manage. I have always loved this series and this one is right up there with the rest. Enjoy! Show less

I love this series, I have purchased them all and will keep buying them. They find different ways to change the gameplay, which I don't need to explain how to play. Anyone who has purchased or played this series before knows the gameplay. I recommend this game!!

played hard mode no issues,
some levels you need to figure out the short cut to make
3 stars so played most levels at least twice but figured them out. love the up dates to doing tasks.

White Rabbit woke up from a mysterious deep sleep that overtook Wonderland. He is overjoyed to discover Alice is returning and everyone is alerted so they can prepare for her arrival. The graphics are splendid, artwork is very bright and cheery.

There are 3 modes: Chill Out, Normal, Hard. I chose the easiest to get more done in the demo. There's lots of dialogue which I didn't mind, fun tasks, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum help out. None of the CE extras were available in the demo. I didn't like being unable to sample any of them and think it's unfair to have to buy the game to see what you're getting. The only two collectibles I was aware of were color palettes and puzzle pieces, the pieces being acquired by collecting flowers. Hopefully there are more, sometimes CEs are not very generous with collectibles. The hint shows you the layout of the scene with the tasks numbered, I didn't think it helped much,

Gathering resources was slow at first, then became much easier to collect coins and tools needed to build. It was difficult getting the rose seeds and one of the tools needed to cross the bridge. I probably missed something very obvious right under my nose, like I said I've been away from TMs for a long time and surely lost my knack for smart playing.

I think it's a cute game, had fun with the demo. Other reviews will be helpful with deciding whether or not to purchase.

I like this game, maybe better than other previous in the same serie. Certainly it is a time management game; the only thing that disappointed me is that I cannot find the 12 additional level that give to this game the title to be a collector edition.
Where are the extra levels?

Good, it's about time for another halfway decent resource management game. Now, in my opinion, for sheer challenge and fun, Cheshire's Wonderland took the cake. Yes it did and remains my unrivaled favorite. But give this one a chance, it's definitely OK

A small and unobtrusive list of extra objects to find is on the right side to add a little challenge to your one of three playing modes. No paint palette. oh well. I enjoy the ones in the Alice vein--didn't find others like Ellie's Farm: Forest Fires quite as compelling.

You can cancel hints and dialogs, use your system pointer and adjust sounds and music. You get extras in the "full game" but you'll need to buy the CE to find out what they are. Hence the missing star.

On my list to get, for sure. Show less
