downloaded and install with no problem. The game ran smooth. The first few level are eay to do, then it get a little harder. Give it a try. I plan on buying it in the next couple of weeks.

this is a great M3 game. you have different goals to fulfil to finish the game. the game gives you hints as you go. i played without a timer. this game takes awhile to finish.

sans être génial ce match 3 est correct.
je pense que je l'achèterai lorsqu'il sortir en version française, car à 75 ans je n'ai pas l'intention de prendre de cours d'anglais et là c'est utile pour comprendre comment résoudre les énigmes.
les tuiles son de bonnes tailles, la jouabilité est bonne et les concepteurs ont fait l'effort d'entrecouper les niveaux de mini jeu.

and this one just seemed not as good.

The instructions are not very good and really you need seperate instructions
that you can refer to. You really need to understand how the clue solving works
as it is a vital part to this game.

I am so glad I bought this now
Once you start fingerprinting stuff and other topics the game becomes
so much more fun. Yes it is not up there with the best but if you like match 5 games
then this could be for you once you get past the first twenty or so levels
which is a big turn off.
This could be so much better if only they had made the demo more appealing.

This is not going to suit everyone but I like it now and just want to
keep playing it but as I have already explained the demo badly lets it down.

For me this game plays fine. Show less

Installation complete but after 4 attempts game would not open, kept getting message "Error: Access Violation". Would not even uninstall without shutting down PC. I've never had a problem with Magnussoft before and their games are usually good, so I'll be fair with 3 stars. Maybe this game IS "The Cursed Artifact" OR maybe it's me!!

I had fun playing the demo as a time-killer, but once the game ended, I just didn't feel the need to continue playing. Magnussoft added a lot of creative obstacles and features that were detective-related, so I have to give them kudos for thinking outside the box.

You can play in a Relaxed, Medium, or Hard difficult mode. I played the demo on Medium mode and found the game to be pretty easy with plenty of time remaining on every level.

Each Match 3 level has a different goal, but basically, you are required to make matches over all of the Blue cells, or twice over the Teal cells. Gold cells require three matches; you will earn extra points, but you aren't required to make matches over gold cells in order to complete the level.

Eventually, various Obstacles are added, such as Roped & Double Roped tiles that require a match of whichever tile is roped, Floor Plates & Decorated Floor Plates that require adjacent matches to destroy them, Fossil Plates requiring an adjacent match, and even Prison Bars that require an adjacent match on the Prison Bar cells with Keys. Although it isn't difficult to overcome these obstacles, they are kind of unique and better than most Match 3 games.

Large Matches reward you with different colored Light Bulb explosives on the board. A Match 4 gives you a Blue Bulb that destroys 5 adjacent tiles. A Match 5 gives you a Violet Bulb that destroys 9 adjacent tiles, and a Match 6 gives you a Red Bulb that destroys 25 adjacent tiles. It is very easy to get large matches; therefore, you get a ton of Explosive Bulbs on every level. It's almost impossible not to use the Bulbs, which is one of the reasons the game is so easy to master.

As you progress, Powerup Boosters are added. Each powerup, such as a single tile remover, requires making matches of its matching icon to charge or recharge the powerup, which can then be used at your discretion.

Some icons give you "Detective" points or "Investigative" points that help you solve clues on the case once you have earned all of the requirements, including Achievements. There are detective-themed mini-games and Nonograms that can be skipped if you aren't into puzzles & mini-games.

Clearly, the developer has put some thought into making this game a bit different than most Match 3 games. The most annoying part for me was having to open a suitcase after every level to get a reward; then it goes to a scoring window popup, then it goes to the Clues even when you don't have enough points or achievements to "reveal" the next clue. When I'm playing a Match 3 game, I just want to move on to the M3 next level immediately; I don't want to click in a gimmicky suitcase to claim a reward (just include them in the scoring window!). The clue window popup should only open when I have enough points to activate something; otherwise, it's just a waste of time, and it takes you out of the M3 mojo moment.

I liked that very much, but there could have been a lot more of these puzzles to make the game itself more varied.
The match 3 levels were always the same and not really difficult. The length of the game was very good, but I didn't really enjoy the game. I played the game to the end, actually hoping that there would be a few more surprises in store. Unfortunately not.
The game is actually only suitable for beginners, intermediate and expert players will be better served with the Jewel Match series. Show less

I usually buy Magnusoft match 3 games without even trying the demo first. I'm so glad I didn't do that this time. The game is slow and CLUNKY, confusing, and difficult to navigate.
Since Big Fish seems to offer very few match 3 games I may end up buying it, but not sure at this point.
The "storyline" is inane and NOT at all worth the amount of time it takes to skip through it.

I don't recommend this game.

The flow of the game was not smooth. The tiles seemed stiff and they were very large.
