I enjoy playing games by this developer and this series is a challenging series for me to play because it has no grid for help. I enjoy buying objects with stars this is one thing I didn't mention in the previous games. It has me thinking a lot about what to do with objects

It's best to go into this game knowing up front it’s not a HOPA, its multiple hidden object scenes and mini-games only and you decorate a scene with stars you collect. I'm noticing a lot of other players don't really like this kind of game because you aren't "walking" from one scene to another (there's no adventure here) and I think maybe that’s why it’s getting lower ratings… ...Show more

It's best to go into this game knowing up front it’s not a HOPA, its multiple hidden object scenes and mini-games only and you decorate a scene with stars you collect. I'm noticing a lot of other players don't really like this kind of game because you aren't "walking" from one scene to another (there's no adventure here) and I think maybe that’s why it’s getting lower ratings… they’re disappointed it’s not a HOPA.

I’ve always liked this kind of game in general and thought this installment was a lot better than the first. I thought the graphics were better this time around. I really loved the circus HOP with the multiple scenes of paper cut-outs; it was adorable and beautifully illustrated. It’s my favorite type of HOS, when you put items back into the scene.

This game had a lot of different types of hidden object scenes too. It's something a bit different from the HOPAs and also different than the straight-up HOGs, and I think it has its own place here as a Hybrid-HOG.

I really liked they added a setting to remove the shadow bullseye from the mouse-click in options.

I'll buy it when the SE comes out next month because it really doesn't have enough CE content for me to pay double. Show less

I liked this one, it reminds me of some of the old school hidden object games from my childhood, fun puzzles and scenes, simple yet fun graphics.

Not every game needs to be flashy, be fully voice acted or have moving characters to be good.

I recommend this game!

Very simply another HO and puzzle game only. If that is your bag then fine but it is not mine. Also got a file corrupt which is not unusal for DO games now. No real quality assurance before publishing so played very little of the demo.

I don't recommend this game.

It was near impossible to find items in the HOPs because they were very dark and many objects were unrecognizable. My finger was permanently affixed to the hint button and the recharge was slow. Not the way I like to play at all! It made me feel pretty inept. The puzzles were very creative, not run of the mill, definitely not boring. I liked that but found them quite frustrating, partly due to length of time to solve and some could have had better instructions. I expected them to be more fun because they were so different but that just wasn't the case, for me.

So by the end of the demo I was questioning my abilities or maybe I just became stupid? There shouldn't be a lot of frustration with a game like this. Anyway others may really enjoy it, but for me it was not a good time. Show less

The fact is that Domini is one of the best HOPA developers that entered the market, and they used to be on my personal top 3 developers list, back in the day. We all know what they are capable of, but they were backed into a corner by Big Fish to spew out games at a reckless, unsustainable pace.

The fact is that Domini is one of the best HOPA developers that entered the market, and they used to be on my personal top 3 developers list, back in the day. We all know what they are capable of, but they were backed into a corner by Big Fish to spew out games at a reckless, unsustainable pace.

With that being said, I think Domini Games is making a good business decision by releasing simplistic Hidden Object Games. If they are able to lighten the load by tossing out a few HOGs, this should allow them to focus on the quality of their HOPAs! I've already seen a slight improvement on their last few HOPA releases, so I think games like The Intersection of Worlds are a good idea!

Games like Magic Stars may not be everyone's cup of tea, love it or hate it, take it or leave it, but keep in the back of your mind that the HOPA you were anticipating today, may just be a better quality game tomorrow because they released The Intersection of Worlds series!

HIDDEN OBJECT SCENES:
The HO's vary from scene to scene with Listed Item Finds, Silhouetted Shape Finds, Progressive-Interactive Finds, Spot the Difference Finds, Matching Pairs, Descriptive Clue Finds, Find & Replace, and Fill in the Blanks (? + ? =__) or Combo Finds where you find objects that are created when you combine 2 different objects. Basically, you will play a Hidden Object Scene, earn a Star, buy an item in the Carnival Room, play another HO, and possibly a mini-game...lather-rinse-repeat.

MINI-GAMES:
There are only 24 Mini-games in the Main Chapters and 8 additional mini-games in the CE Bonus Chapter. Although the graphics have been changed, they are basically the same games we've played hundreds of times, such as sliding icons to create the same chain of icons shown at the bottom.

BONUS CHAPTER (CE Version only)
The Bonus Chapter contains additional Hidden Object Scenes and 8 additional Mini-Games. If you like this game, I would wait for the SE version because the "extras" just don't seem worth the price. You could literally buy both games in this series in the SE version for the price of 1 CE and have more gameplay than just getting a few extra levels in a CE version.

CE EXTRAs (CE version only)
15 Wallpapers (which appear to be taken from each of the HO scenes), 15 Concept Art, 5 Music, 25 Achievements, and a Strategy Guide that only shows the solution for the Mini Games and the location of the Collectible Bracelets.

I lasted 10 minutes and then uninstalled. MANY, MANY better games to re-play (especially older ones).
