This is an exclusively hidden object game, which is my preferred game type. The developer continues to improve the playing experience for this pure hidden object game format.

There are variations in game scenes in how to find things, not only word lists of objects which keeps game progress interesting and fun. Between scene puzzles are not too difficult and can be skipped without penalty.

At first I was annoyed. I put in my player name and it immediately thrust me into the game with tutorial hints. That is a sure way to light my fire.

So, I logged out and started the game again so I could turn off the tutorial, check achievements, adjust the settings to turn the music down and put the game on the hardest possible skill level, as I do with every game.

To my surprise, only the music volume was available. My curiosity was piqued, so I continued, and am I glad I did!

This game is among the best of the best! First, the tutorial hints lastest only a moment. The storyline was as minimum as it could be without being nonexistent. At the end of a puzzle, one person would say one sentence, and even that was easily ignored by clicking anywhere on the screen to end it and move forward.

As I always say in reviews - if I want a story I WILL READ A BOOK. When I come to BFG, I want to play GAMES, and this offering is FULL of fun and challenging games to play.

I don't care for hidden object games, but these were fun and truly challenging, so I was actually sad when I got to the last one.

Best of all - and I cannot praise the developer enough - there were really challenging PUZZLES! One after the other! Now THAT is what I call a game!

Despite my pet peeve of people's overuse of exclamation points, just look at all the exclamation points in this review! I cannot speak higher for how much fun this game was.

I am an expert player and the puzzles here were wonderfully difficult. One took me two days to figure out. I love that kind of challenge.

The only negative I have to offer here pertains not to this game, but to some of the reviews I have read about this game. For years we have almost unanimously complained about games being the "same ol', same ol'" and begged developers for innovation. Then, when a developer offers a unique game like this one, people complain that it doesn't look, feel, sound or play like a "regular" HOP. Well, you are right. It doesn't. And, I say "Vive la différence"!

God bless these developers. To the developers I implore: please, PLEASE, publish more games like this one! Show less

Many years ago there was a series of games that were made by a developer calling their games Hdo Adventure.
These games were all received by huge criticism and were reviewed very poorly, but some players (like me) thought they were so bad that they became curiosities and had a strange attraction about them.
This game and its predecessor are like that. Poorly designed with abundant flaws and a completely nonsensical story noteworthy only for its boredom, it just seems so bad that it makes it an oddity of sorts that might be worth a look as a diversion, or to remind ourselves how really outstanding most other HOPAs really are.

So as they say ---- "now for something completely different" ---- I guess it might be worth a look.
But only for the free trial. I would never pay money for a game this poor, and I am absolutely over the top astonished that they have the unmitigated gall to call this CE and ask double money for it. Just no, absolutely not. There are far too many way superior games out there.

So I recommend taking a look at this game for the sake of curiosity ---- nothing more ---- and if you actually buy it I have lots on the moon for sale! Show less

Most of us have played hidden objects for years. We do not need tutorials. I was more annoyed that there were no settings to allow turning off tutorial, than I was with the actual game play.

The countdown timer on the Skip button doesn't work - the only way I could get it to count down was by toggling back and forth between the game and the menu settings - 60 times! And on every puzzle that had a skip option. Then the game totally froze a few scenes later, and I had to use control/alt/delete to sign out. When I then went back in, it was still ...Show more
