Celene and her team have earned a reputation for bravery, so it comes as no surprise that they've been chosen to explore the neighboring continent of beastmen. This will be a dangerous task, as the continent is plagued by the same orc threat that infected the elven lands. Of course, nobody is expecting you to defeat the orc army single-handedly. The elves will help prepare the path for the main forces, explore, distract the enemy, and disrupt supply lines to lead you to victory!

There's something strange about these woods, however. The orcs might not be the only threat, and the beastmen are preoccupied with fighting them off to come and greet Celene. Or are they?

I should preface this with the fact that I'm not very good at these games and always play them (and replay them) in casual mode. And I can play these and their sister Alice in Wonderland games over and over again without getting bored. They're relaxing, nice to look at and they have entertaining stories with characters that I like.

I really liked it! The graphics were very colorful and well done. The story was easy to follow, even though this is a sequel. They laid the ground work so I got the gist of the plot. The instructions were clear on what to do and I choose a beginners level that explained the game very well.
This game was a good game to get my feet wet on time management and it was fun to play. The only thing that I don't care for is something I find in many games: not enough variety in the background music. Grrr. Developers need to expand their music capabilities to more than a 10 second loop. But I can overlook this because all the other perks in the game make up for this one little thing.

I loved the Collector's Edition version because it has collectible Animal Totems to find in each scene. I loved the Collector's Edition version because it has collectible Animal Totems to find in each scene. I thought I'd wait to see what the SE version offered, and the synopsis claims to have collectibles, AND the screenshots show that it does indeed have the Animal Totems (shown as icons on the right side) I have played several levels now, and none of them have Animal Totems! Is this a glitch or did BF just try to slip one past us thinking no one would notice?
You can play in a Normal, Hard, or Chill Out difficulty mode. Although some strategy is involved, it's not a super stressful game, and the timer seems fair.
My favorite feature in the CE version was finding the Animal Totems (bear, owl, deer, raccoon, fish), some of which are hidden pretty well. You will receive one Jigsaw Puzzle Piece for each Totem completed per level. To save time, I search for the totems and then hit the replay button because once you find the totem animals, you won't be required to find them when you replay the level. There are also Morphing Art Palettes that allow you to paint three different pictures...again, this feature was available in the CE version, but neither has made an appearance on this SE version?
The graphics are very colorful, and I like the uniqueness of the tasks and the fact that you have to select tasks in the right order or you may find yourself stuck, waiting for resources as the timer clicks down!
The Collector's Edition version has 6 Wallpapers, Music Soundtracks, 12 Bonus Levels, and Achievement Trophies. Each Level has 5 hidden Totem Animals and a Morphing Art Palette to paint 3 different pictures.
