I played my first New Yankee when they were still in single digits. I fell in love with the series after I played my first round and have collected them all. This has to be one of the most imaginative, enjoyable time management games ever to grace my monitor and I have tried many, many of them. I played my first New Yankee when they were still in single digits. I fell in love with the series after I played my first round and have collected them all. This has to be one of the most imaginative, enjoyable time management games ever to grace my monitor and I have tried many, many of them. There is actually strategy involved with this game and it can be quite challenging. The story is lots of fun and weaves itself throughout. The palette, character rendition and motion, music, and special effects are flawless! It's the New Yankee we expect...but not! A few curve balls have been thrown in this lucky 13! My program is running perfectly, and this wonderful adventure always has me wide-eyed. If time-management is something you enjoy, you can't do better- buy it and have a blast. And don't forget those puzzle pieces! Show less

I have all of the New Yankee games and love playing them all. They have made this game more challenging. Level 13, holy moly.took me a while to figure it out. You've got a vampire tower with flying vampires who come and pick up the workers and imprison them in the tower Meanwhile you have to pick up the garlic that is scattered hither and yon but you have to avoid the flying vampires while looking ...Show more

There is lots going on and it took me a while to sort it out so I could finish the level. If the other levels are like this one it will be challenging and fun to play. Show less

Well there are no wasted 'get used to it' levels in this game! It's fast it's strategic and no slacking off will be allowed in timed mode. (Just how I like it). There is relaxed and hard also.

There are so many new features. Not so much in mechanisms we have not seen before, but different characters or objects...a merchants caravan refills storehouses, foxes steal, and not just toxic weeds to ...Show more

There are so many new features. Not so much in mechanisms we have not seen before, but different characters or objects...a merchants caravan refills storehouses, foxes steal, and not just toxic weeds to remove...the land has been taken over by 'filth' blobs that need manna to remove them.

One of the things I loved (which left me needing to repeat a couple of low levels!) was that just when you think you have control, a removal of one object may require you to come up with another resource you were not bothering to store, and you don't know it's coming. Just grab everything always lol! And every level has so much going on!

The plot is gorgeous...raven put the wrong herbs in the cauldron and Mary not feeling quite herself lol, has gone missing, leaving her tasks to the spellbook to fulfill. John and the gang are out to find her and also clear her name as it looks like she has become a thief? Or has she?

It's fast, it's fabulous and you will need all your wits about you to beat the clock. I am loving every minute of it. Always try the demo, but I am sure TM lovers will get fun and thrills out of every level also! Enjoy! Show less

I love this series, have all the games and replay them often so I was expecting a fairly easy ride with this new episode. Boy, How wrong could I be! I love this series, have all the games and replay them often so I was expecting a fairly easy ride with this new episode. Boy, How wrong could I be! This is a seriously challenging game but great fun and never so challenging that it defeats you. There is always a way through though you will probably find you are getting far fewer three star timings than on previous episodes. You really need to keep your wits about you right from the start, looking out for foxes, squirrels, vampires and knights. Squirrels sometimes give you food, other times garlic, while foxes steal your stocks. As for vampires, they are really mean! The crops (fertility) spell sometimes speeds up production as before but at other times doubles it to 40. Some nasties cut production by half in their surrounding radius. This really is the best New Yankee game yet, I can't wait to see what they will come up with next. Show less

Love this series have enjoyed playing them all. This one is a little more challenging which is great as there are new things not in the other versions but it doesn't deviate from what you expect in the game which is great. Some levels actually took me a couple of gos to get my 3 stars! Can't wait for the next one.

This was a great game. I liked that it was different. With Mary causing problems with her amnesia made it interesting for me. The levels with the vampires in them were a little hard. You had to be quick to get supplies for the sword to be made so John could fight them while getting the supplies for the gremlin to destroy the castle. I love these games and have all of them. Love the humor in story line.
As stated, I am stumped as for what to do on level 13?
Checked youtube but no video on walkthru :(
Hopefully I will figure it out as I am loving the game.
