I cannot understand the bad reviews. So many HOS and mini games I never had before in an adventure HOG. So I liked it very much, good entertainment.

This game consists of the best mini-games and hidden items search scenes I've seen from Domini Games in a long time! Santa’s Toy Factory is on holiday overload (happens every year, get used to it). In an effort not to let his co-workers down, one of the elves has refused to take a sick day (elves getting colds, imagine that), and now there’s a vexed 10-year-old kid walking the streets of the city with a very (very!) dangerous artifact in his tiny, sweet hands. Now what do a common cold and an impending catastrophe have to do with each other, you may ask? That is something to be kept just between you and the aforementioned elf! Above all, please-please-please don’t tell Santa! Gather your wits for an unforgettable love story in this very long-playing new Hidden-Object Puzzle Adventure!

I really felt that this game was worth the money due to the time it took to complete the entire game... it took me around 9 or 10 hours to finish the main game & another 2 hours for the bonus game.

Final Thoughts: Put your intellectual skills to the test with a variety of Christmas puzzles and unwind with a collection of relaxing mini-games timed to the winter holiday, aiming for a variety of game achievements! This will enhance your gaming experience in this collector’s edition. I definitely recommend this game, and I think Big Fish shouldn't exclude new releases from their BOGO sales. I've been a game member for more than a decade and I remember when you COULD purchase new releases on the BOGO sale! Show less

I enjoy playing games by this developer and I enjoy playing seasonal games when they come out the only thing I find hard about the games are the minigames so I skip them I like using matching grids rather than the hints

This is a different game than those that normally fill the Christmas coffers at BigFish. The hidden object scenes and other game play are, dare I say, novel. And since we know that sleighs, sleds & sledges are all winter "vehicles" on metal skids that are pulled or pushed through snow, I had no trouble with the language used to describe various objects. This is a different game than those that normally fill the Christmas coffers at BigFish. The hidden object scenes and other game play are, dare I say, novel. And since we know that sleighs, sleds & sledges are all winter "vehicles" on metal skids that are pulled or pushed through snow, I had no trouble with the language used to describe various objects. Since BigFish outsourced nearly all game production to other countries years ago, I expect that some European terms will be sprinkled throughout. There weren't any problems with the dialogs, other than they're held between 2 elves scampering around Santa's workshop. Sort of inane and childish by definition. So why play such a silly game? Well, because it's silly! Which for many of us translates directly into a fun time. I'm looking forward to finishing this. Show less

Whew! OK, I'm writing this after only playing a few hours but here are some take aways that I find significant: Domini games- in all its different manifestations - and I really don't get along (remember their "purple" days?) but once in a great while I am surprised. Not so here. One thing that annoys me: you can't traverse the Domini world you're in unless you access the map. You can't go back and forth on your own, you have to go through the map. I really don't like that. I like to walk around. The scenery; it looks like Christmas exploded in every scene. The scenes are so busy it's hard to focus all the while mixing a 50's look with high-tech. Make up your mind, Domini. An outstanding game that was also very busy looking was "Enchanted Express", which I LOVED, because all the busyness was done along a very consistent theme in a very attractive way which celebrated Christmas instead of screaming it. Back to this fable- the storyline is ok, Christmassy enough. I mean how many different Christmas tales can you come up with? The collectibles are definitely fun, three types: Christmas morphs, gifts, and what the developer calls "seats" which had me extremely confused. "Seats"?! What the heck is that?! Turns out they're wooden reindeer for a carousel. Still fun to find and you've got your reminder on the left side to let you know if one of the collectibles is present. The HOPs are blindingly Christmassy, just warning. There's always the switch to match three. And of course, there's all the emblems to find to open things to fix things to lead to the next step. But the animation is good as is the artwork, busy as it is, it is still very nicely done. I give it four stars- a good effort. And the Domini playing board is always very well done. I just wish they'd let me walk around the environment on my own instead of always having to go through the map. Merry Christmas everyone! Show less

It was an ok storyline, the elf kind of annoying, definitely for children. Graphics were good and colorful. Couldn't relate to characters and I think it could have had a few more scenes. I liked when everything turned to gingerbread in one of the scenes. I want to give thanks to all the reviews that people leave for so many games I have purchased.

Ok cute game. Pretty pictures. Hidden items, etc. One turn off for me is when I am playing a game in one of the HOP's and you are looking for an item. It says to find a sledge BUT it means sled when you select a hint. If the first hop has errors it tells me it was not quality checked.

I recommend this game!
