I really loved this game. So much so that I have spent the weekend going back in time and playing this developer's/creative team's previous games. They are all really good! I admit I am old school in general but I loved the stories and the puzzles and gameplay. Classic and well done. You could feel the dedication to the project and the love.

Absolutely delighted this game is remastered so others can enjoy a game that is not the same HOPA format, be it storyline, tasks or graphics. So, fewer glitches in the game as it has always been; that's my understanding of a remastered game, no changes but smoother play.

When I first played this game, I used a PC; now, with a Mac, I will purchase it again. It may not be a collectible game in the usual sense but it is more in story and task, IMO, not the same old, same old.

Cateia Games are a format all their own complete with having to return to scenes to find an object to complete the task. It's the old school type of game and I miss this format. There is a lot more thinking involved.

It was so different than the HO games out there where the key breaks in the lock and you have to use something to grab the stub; did you have to wander from place to place, yes, but it made sense. I have loved this game from the beginning when it was first released. The storyline is awesome. I have played it loads of times and it still holds its appeal to me. Would love to see more games like this, perhaps another Brightstone Mystery of the same caliber.

This is one of my all time favorite games (check out other Cateia games: especially The Man with the Ivory Cane and Dragon Tales). I have replayed this game many times and is always enjoyable. Lots of thinking required. I agree with others as there is no CE extras. Also, instead of a re-release, I would love to see a brand new Brightstone Mysteries from Cateia.

My husband and I both love this game. We love the graphics. My husband likes a more challenging game then I do but I want to play this one as it will test my memory going back and forth to the different locations. This is one of the most challenging, enjoyable and unique hidden object games I've ever played. The Areas of Interest stopped showing on the map early on but the Hint button was acceptable to use. I've never seen a HO scene where you could click on the colored items and change them until one appeared that you could find - neat!. I almost didn't download the demo because of the negative reviews but I must say this game was addictive. The graphics were quite good, the HOP's challenging, and even the casual difficulty was challenging enough. I liked that things weren't a dead-giveaway and I had to remember and think more than a lot of Adventure games. I agree that the tutorial was a bit annoying and in NO way is this a CE ...Show more
