I really like this game. I've played other games in the series. Somtimes it takes a couple of times thru to figure out a level. I'm on level 9 with no technical problems yet.

The key thing to know is that the marauders stop coming after you fix the flooding--so don't fix it until after you've arrested all three marauders. The key thing to know is that the marauders stop coming after you fix the flooding--so don't fix it until after you've arrested all three marauders. (Your workers will walk right through most of the flood water, so you only need it cleared to get to the last bridge.)

Also, if you're not using all the bonuses--both the ones that come automatically but need to activate periodically within each level and the ones that you "buy" from the map and then permanently improve performance--you won't ever be able to get to three stars on all the levels.

Slightly more detail for Level 45:

1. Clear and collect enough resources to get to the closest two building sites.

2. At the bottom-most building, build a farm. Don't improve it yet. This is the marauders' target, and you want to leave it alone for a while. You'll only get maybe one bowl of food from it before the first marauder comes, but if you're in the midst of upgrading when a marauder comes it may glitch. IMPORTANT: If a marauder comes but seems to get "stuck" (it keeps walking in place), just restart, because that's a real glitch that can't be worked around. That seems to be more likely if the marauder comes when you have a worker there, which is why you don't want to do more than build the basic building yet.

3. Build a woodshop and steel shop at the next two building locations, clearing as you go. Upgrade those as needed.

4. Keep clearing to get to the police station, and build that. Send the police to arrest the first marauder, and then wait and arrest the next two marauders.

5. While you're waiting for marauders, build as much of the first bridge as you can. Once you've got up over ten wood, tear down the woodshop and build a gas station. When you have more than twenty-two steel beams, tear down the steel factory and build a headquarters (money). Build the special equipment hangar for the next stage of bridge construction.

5. After you've arrested all three marauders, improve the kitchen as much as you can, repair the water tank, and pump out the water.

6. Finish building the first bridge and build the second bridge.

I haven't play this game series in a year. The graphics are good. The mood music selections are instrumental, not bad overall.

You have 2 modes- timed and untimed. I first played the game untimed straight through. You don't get that much help on the built in tutorial especially on various production facility requirements, you learn that by playing.

You can't skip out on the dialogs.

The strategy guides are bare bones and are not always accurate. On level 23 the guide is screwed up on the procedure and requirements. It's impossible to finish the level within the allotted time for 3 star awards. I stopped playing in timed mode at that level.

It has a bonus accrual feature where you get a point after each level completed to spend on various bonuses. There are no easter eggs in this game.

I will not recommend this game but I won't condemn it either. You can play it in untimed mode but you won't get all the extras as the timed mode is screwed up. Show less

This game is super fun with just the right amount of difficulty but for the love of all that is good, please fix level 45! You're supposed to catch three marauders, but only one marauder ever shows up. Unable to pass the level without capturing them all. :/

Game is rather thrown together by composing single actions into one level - some levels are very hard to pass in gold time or even impossible, others you pass in much less time as given.
The game stopped a level 45 which cannot be finished as required action cannot be taken - guides do not lead anywhere as they explain actions not required e.g. "Help injured animals" althogh there are no animlas ...Show more

This game was likeable enough in the trial. It runs fine. I tend to pick up collector's editions for the "step by step" guides as I know I am going to get stuck now and then.

This guide is a joke. It's sort of Captain Obvious in telling you what needs to be done (pick up stuff, remove more stuff) but leaves out a -lot- of steps. I need to build a building now but there is a lot in between point ...Show more

I liked the previous games but this one was awful. Graphics are choppy and clickability is sporadic. Too many bugs

I like this series, it's very challenging, but like others I cannot pass level 23 because a task is under the timer and not fully visible or clickable. In the in game guide it is not mentioned or pictured so something is clearly wrong. I have reached out to big fish and will update if I get a solution.
