Cubetractor is a neo-retro action-strategy-puzzle hybrid where you’ll defeat enemies through an unconventional cube-pulling, turret-building mechanic. The game carries elements of reverse tower defense and a grounded bullet-hell dodger to deliver a unique gameplay experience presented in a classic top-down perspective. It’s a six-sided blast from the futuristic past in a fun-sized package!

This game only supports keyboard controls.

I couldn't here... I spent more time on it when I played the game elsewhere a while back.
The retro look and sounds of this game is not as offputting as the finnicky behavior of your cubetractor character... you've got to be aligned "just right" to be able to pull them in order to hit the targets (remember to get out of the way !!!) This is all done with arrow keys (or WASD.)

I have nothing against arcade-type games, but this one has been out awhile (10 years!!!) and even back then, it looked like a game from the 90's.
I think you'll know right away (at least get to the 1st "true" level) whether it's right for you, and decide if you'd like to pay money to play it. I think it's a poor choice as a new release, considering many better games are "out there". Show less

I hated the game play on this. You use the keyboard instead of the mouse and it is awkward. I have to admit I had trouble figuring some of it out. It was boring and a little frustrating for me. And it was very retro. Seems like an old game revisited. It reminded me of PacMan but not fun.
I don't recommend this game.
