Don't be put of by negative reviews. This is a very challenging game at times which makes it enjoyable. You have to work out solutions to difficult obstacles. Some good unique features. Noticed people getting stuck on level 82 took me 3 attempts to work out. I was really enjoying the game until level 82 and was hopelessly stuck. After trying over and over again and doing my own research, I finally contacted the developers and they helped me. I was really enjoying the game until level 82 and was hopelessly stuck. After trying over and over again and doing my own research, I finally contacted the developers and they helped me. I followed suggestion A. Here is what they wrote "(a) In the main menu, go to the options and switch to expert mode and timeless mode. Now the level 82 you play in expert mode is different. Although it is still hard, you should be able to clear it with the help of powerups. Once the level is cleared, you can switch back to casual mode.

(b) Try to play the current level 82 really fast. If you are fast enough you will be able to make a match here (see the attached image) and open up the area before corrupted cloud can cover the area. You might need to restart 2-3 times because the movement of the corrupted cloud is random." Show less

I liked it... just played the demo and bought it.. I can see the graphics clearly...mouse moves fast enough... Nice to have something challenging for a change!

Is is just me or are some of the levels in this game impossible to solve? Why have I been stuck on the same level for ever. Can't solve Level 22, so can't play any more. Grrr.

I love these kind of match 3 games. While game play isn't rocket science, you do sometimes have to think about what moves to make and when.

I love these kind of match 3 games. While game play isn't rocket science, you do sometimes have to think about what moves to make and when.

My BIGGEST complaint about this series (which is why I took off 2 stars) is the BIONIC FOG. Developer, you take this to the utmost annoying extreme. Some levels feel like they will never end because you can't get ahead of the fog before it grows again. It is not enjoyable. It exceeds the definition of challenging. It's just a game that we are supposed to enjoy playing. I have played other M3s by other developers who also use the fog but theirs is enjoyably doable. Yours makes me want to throw my monitor across the room.

I may be the only person it annoys. If you're ok with it, then I would recommend buying the game. It won't be a purchase for me Show less

I should have read the reviews before paying for Volcano's Verge. I have played for many hours and cannot get past level 82 like so many other reviewers. With this many people griping about it you'd think they'd fix it. The Ironcode game site isn't even selling this game so they probably know it's broken.
