Another excellent offering in the Jigsaw genre. This one is Halloween oriented and the brilliant colors in the autumn picture set are gorgeous. But be warned: the plot is dark, very dark indeed. Our character is a fellow with an evil alter ego, a Jester, that threatens to destroy him for his past sins. Another excellent offering in the Jigsaw genre. This one is Halloween oriented and the brilliant colors in the autumn picture set are gorgeous. But be warned: the plot is dark, very dark indeed. Our character is a fellow with an evil alter ego, a Jester, that threatens to destroy him for his past sins. The art picks up the menacing atmosphere, concentrating on a panoply of Halloweeny monsters, (even if the Witch Girl is awfully cute). Music this time is a little over-fond of drum rolls and cymbal splashes that fortunately can be turned down. Overall, a rather intense (and too short) plot covering what we're really here for, some beautiful art. Still, a question for the artist, or rather the editor who chose the pieces. Is there no room for little boys in your fantasy world? It must be a boring place. Show less

I love Halloween and all the things that Go Bump in the Night🪦 I do agree that the backgrounds of these puzzles are a tad bit too dark as far as the color scheme goes, but the images are pretty cool, nonetheless.

Graphium Studio knows how to do puzzles right; they always have a bunch of settings and puzzle shapes to make them enjoyable. I love that you can see every picture in the demo and do them in any order.

There are six different categories: Dark Arts - Fallen Memories - Fright Stories - Music of Autumn - Haunted Phantoms, and a Bonus Chapter. There are two Puzzle Modes, Mosaic with eight different shapes available, and Classic, which has six different puzzle cutouts. You can also select the number of pieces for each puzzle individually and fine-tune the background color with a full-scale color chart.

The icing on the cake...there's a pretty interesting story that progresses as you earn energy by completing the puzzles!

Having trouble with this game

I can not get back into the puzzle after saving my progress it tells me to start the game over after it sends a crash report but even after I restart the game I can not get back in to finish the puzzle.

I don't recommend this game.

What I greatly dislike are the "models" wearing costumes and the heavy make-up done in a style that looks silly rather than scary. Many of the images look too similar, imo, so the variety isn't all that good, and that means for me the fun factor is low.

I do like this puzzle series very much, however, and I'm currently working on Dream Land which is very beautiful. All the features/options are great, I love the choices we are given for size and shape, background, and being able to assemble the border first. Graphics are always nice and sharp. I've never once encountered any glitches.

For the demo I chose a cat, pumpkins, and Jack-o-lantern in different modes and sizes. I always wish I could open the 6th chapter early. If you look forward to Halloween, "Jester" will get you into the mood for the Autumn scare-fest. Show less

I didn't care for most of the pictures in this and found the ones of people to be sinister looking and not pleasant. There are also many dark colors in the puzzles and I thought many of the pictures were depressing. In the last category of Autumn, there is way too much orange and is repetitious play. There were only a few picture puzzles I did like, so this is no buy for me. There should have been more variety and a balance of more cheerful and colorful scenes instead of all the darkness.

It isn't my idea of a Happy Halloween puzzle game. Show less
