Sea Life Explorer CE is truly the most fun I've had playing a game in years. I've played about a hundred new games over the last couple of years, I even really liked some, but I didn't really care if I finished them. Sea Life Explorer CE is truly the most fun I've had playing a game in years. I've played about a hundred new games over the last couple of years, I even really liked some, but I didn't really care if I finished them. But Sea Life is truly fun, yes it's hidden object but I never got bored. The jigsaw puzzles, find the difference, and other games that pop-up are downsized so I was not tempted to skip because they don't go on and on.
Hint* To get the straw in the drink, place it at the top, center it and let go. Show less

I am really enjoying this game, I can't finish it in one sitting and that's great. I like the variety of scenes, ex. underwater and in the hotel. Visual quality very good; I don't listen to sound on any games. I'm challenged just enough. Story line is weak -- I miss seeing people in the games. But Scene 33 -- the Dock -- for the life of me I cannot find the utility knife. The hint doesn't pinpoint ...Show more

I really like this game. It's relaxing and a lot of fun. I didnt hesitate to buy as it's not one of the dark and dreary ones. BF is putting out way too many of those and not enough nice, cheerful ones like this. Am even thinking of cancelling the club. Dont really want to but we're just not getting enough fun games anymore.

I liked this game due to the extras to find on each level as well as the challenge to find the items listed. They weren't to small and it isn't a dark lit game either. The inbetween mini games were fun too. Oh, and you also get to choose the difficulty of the game, which I appreciated since I don't like to play to a timer.

I like the games by this developer and I appreciated the sea life theme. It has just enough challenge. However, on level 24, Vintage Ship I had a problem where there were two tasks to complete (in blue). I couldn't get the straw to hold on the tropical drink or the flash to hold on the camera. When I saw that another player had moved past that level and had a problem later in the game I went back ...Show more

I like the games by this developer and I appreciated the sea life theme. It has just enough challenge. However, on level 24, Vintage Ship I had a problem where there were two tasks to complete (in blue). I couldn't get the straw to hold on the tropical drink or the flash to hold on the camera. When I saw that another player had moved past that level and had a problem later in the game I went back to the level and tried over and over to complete the tasks. About 30 attempts. On that scene it seems that you had to hit the perfect pinpoint spot to make the items stick.

For Lanieanne, The other apple is a whole drawing of an apple on the lower left side wall of the tunnel, next to the backpack.

When you can't find both parts of a pair, click hint to find the first part and then click the first part so it's highlighted and click hint again (when it has recharged) and the other part will be shown to you. Show less

Wesley asked me how to write a review, and I told him to make me a list of the features he liked or didn't like about the game so we could tell others why they should buy the game, too.

WESLEY'S PRO's:
-Finding the items was fun
-Seeing a donut in the water with a fish was funny
-Dragging the task items to the right place was cool
-Spot the Differences is my favorite game. I also liked the jigsaw puzzles
-It's colorful (he also added that he is colorblind, which made some items harder to find)
-I liked finding Dolphins and Pearls, but sometimes I forgot to look for them

WESLEY'S CONS:
Grandma, I don't have any cons because I really like the game. Do we have to have a con?

Although the items are fairly easy to find, it was still enjoyable if you are looking for a relaxing, colorful HOG. Wesley and I haven't completed the game, but so far, the scenes have more to do with the resort part of "Reef Life," and I was really hoping to see more scenes WITHIN the reef. The title itself is what actually grabbed my attention because I'm tired of every HOG being travel-related, and it would have been a refreshing change to have an underwater-themed game! (but we haven't completed the game, so perhaps it will get more nautical-themed as we progress)

The mini-games are the standard STD, Match 3, Memory Match, Mahjong (which I hate), word search, and puzzle variations (I do appreciate that the jigsaw puzzles are larger than normal).

Each scene has 3 Dolphins and 3 Pearls to find. Finding all 180 Dolphins unlocks the Unlimited Mode, and finding all 180 Pearls unlocks Bonus Mini-games.

It's always beautiful in The Woods, so grab a pair of hiking boots and head on over to the campfire to chat about games or whatever's on your mind...in between bites of Smores, of course! Love the graphics. That always lures me in.
It's a beautiful game. Very relaxing. Items are not easy to find which is challenging. The mini puzzles or games are very easy.
I think I will wait for the standard version. I don't need to have the 'unlimited game play'. I think its a waste of money really.
