Keyboard (W, A, S, D) controls make this game a throw back for retro gamers. Unfortunately, it also lends for control issues. While pressing "A" moves your ship left, it doesn't stop when you let go, allowing your ship to just keep going.

Your inventory is tiny (at first at least, I never got far enough to upgrade), requiring you to return often, and you have to refill every return.
These items theirselves aren't that big of a deal. The clincher is the mining. Directions are not absolute, resulting is difficult to maneuver positions and often undesired outcomes. Mining results in an invisible hole that your ship "falls" into, making it difficult, if not impossible to mine some areas.
To beat it all, I couldn't even quit. I had to alt-tab and click "X" to get out of it. Show less

This will be a short review because there's not much to say about this game, you know the old saying, "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything." You can tweak the slider bard to set the difficulty mode from Easy to Normal, to Insane, or anywhere inbetween.

This is such an old school game, you won't need your mouse for this game, you barely need the keyboard, all you really need is 5 keys, W,A,S,D and esc to exit. Use W to fly the ship upward, and S to drill downward to search for Dark Matter. A & D keys will direct the ship left and right.
The goal of the game is to dig and find Dark Matter so you can return to Earth. As you are digging (one square block at a time) you will collect minerals and metals such as copper, zinc or even gold. Once the ships cargo is full, you will have to return to the top to sell the minerals you collect in the Mineral Processor, and you'll need to refuel as well. You can use the money you earn to buy upgrades, tools and new ships.
For me, this game was boring and archaic, who wants to use keyboard keys to play a game? There just isn't anything fun or interesting for my tastes, but it may appeal to sci-fi buffs. Show less
I don't recommend this game.

This was a horrible game. It reminded me of those early games where you had to type in the DOS command to progress in the game, and you had to be EXACT or you couldn't go anywhere. I don't like to play any game that has you use letters on your keyboard to play it. Press "a" to do this, press "d" to do that, press "s" to do something else. Deleted it immediately. I'm usually not that harsh on reviews but I really have no idea what I just played or why I played it. A random 1980'ish mining simulator that gets super repetitive in a heartbeat. I maxed out all the ships and upgrades under the 60 minute time trial and had over 600,000 credits to spare so that should tell you have shallow this game is.

Big Fish should have past on this game and maybe brought something like Rescue Team 7 or something better in this genre. So far the reviews are speaking for themselves. Save yourself the headache and play something more worthy of your time. Show less

The graphics and music were like an 80's arcade game (and not a very good one). I couldn't actually get the ship to do anything other than run out of fuel. Instructions weren't very helpful.
I don't recommend this game.
