This solitaire is 1 up/down and very basic. It has no fun options such as changing front and back of cards. However, 400 levels are a welcome treat. I played 8 levels and found the game painfully easy, but I am trusting the level of challenge will increase as it progresses, with so many levels.

An animal wearing a grass skirt and some feathers is in the corner with crossed arms. Seems unnecessary if he just stands there, but he's cute. Your score is kept and you earn stars. The joker popped up in each level I played, making them a sure win. There were a couple of helpers also, but I didn't play long enough for them to become available. The sparse graphics were very sharp and colorful, the music had a catchy little beat which may soon become annoying.

I am on the fence about purchasing mainly because not sure of the challenge. Sometimes the developer's description of a game is quite misleading. But I am rating 5 stars, to be fair. Show less

fun and bright. if it is showing you can play it. gives jokers often and you always have one that charges. great extra help added along the way . starts easy and slowly creeps up. fun music and sound. a slight change up on solitaire. plays a lot like tri-peaks . if you like sol you will enjoy this one.

I recommend this game!

I really like this game. The levels are challenging, The graphics are really pretty and I also like the music. The only negative that I would say is that there isn't a multiplayer option so my husband just has to take over where I left off rather then have his own game. Other then that which isn't really a big deal this is a really enjoyable game.

I recommend this game!

This game reminded me of some offered from Rokagames.

I liked that its straight up down solitaire, great graphics,
nice music, smooth gameplay all in all a great game,
would like to see more games from Elian.

I actually liked this game enough that I seriously considered getting using a game credit. But unfortunately its a timed game and I really don't like that for a solitaire game.

Easy for the game developers to fix, put an option in to make it relaxed. If they did that, I would get this game.

The graphics for each and every level are the same. The back ground scenery doesn't change the higher you go in the game, this is where it is boring. There is some challenge to it as you go on, not a whole lot and not much at first but it does get better, for a bit of a challenge.

I don't know about you folks, but the reason I play Solitaire games is for relaxation. When I get stressed out or just want to unwind, my "go to" game is Solitaire. I don't know about you folks, but the reason I play Solitaire games is for relaxation. When I get stressed out or just want to unwind, my "go to" game is Solitaire. There are enough timed games out there nowadays, Match 3, Time Management, and sometimes even HOPA games have a timed feature. If you haven't guessed where I'm going with this yet, this is a Timed Higher/Lower Solitaire game! In order to earn all 3 Stars, you have to play each level as fast as possible. There are 3 Stars located at the top, and one by one, the stars will begin to disappear, one chunk at a time.

I was able to make it to level 30 before having to replay a level, and was able to make it to level 38 before the one hour demo ended, which tells you how easy this game is, and I was able to earn all 3 stars on all 38 levels. The goal is to remove ALL cards from the field, if you run out of deck cards and cards still remain on the board, you will have to replay the level until you are able to remove all of the cards.

The Undo feature seems to be limitless, but I only used the undo feature a couple of times, so I could be wrong. There are eventually 3 Power-up's at your disposal, that need to recharge before they can be used again. The Joker can be used as any card, the Bomb will remove 3 cards on the fiekd, and the third power-up is a Shuffle feature that puts cards back into the deck and redistributes them. Almost every level has a Joker hidden in the deck, but you cannot stockpile them, they have to be removed by playing it as a wildcard.

When determining how many stars to give a game in my reviews, I always go by the same criteria, no matter what type of game it is, If I loved the game so much that I'd be willing to purchase it at facevalue, I'll give it 5 stars. If I really liked the game, but I'm only willing to buy the game during a really good sale, I'll give that game a 4 star review rating. If I enjoyed playing a game, but I'm only willing to use a game credit or PCC, I'll give that game a 3 star rating in my review. If I didn't like the game but enjoyed some of the features it offers, I will give the game a 2 star review rating. If I hated playing a game, if I can't make myself play the entire demo, and none of the features appeal to me whatsoever, I will give that game a 1 star review.

I gave Rainforest Solitaire 3 stars because I would be willing to use a credit or PCC to buy the game. It has features I really liked, and some I didn't. I like that this is a Higher/Lower type solitaire, I like the fact that you don't have to remove special gold cards to win, leaving regular cards on the field, I like how quickly the next level becomes available, with fast pop up windows to move forward, I like that the deck shows you how many cards remain, I like a limitless Undo feature, I like that the power-ups aren't one and done cards that they simply recharge and I even like the card graphics. I don't however, like a Solitaire game that is timed and stressful, I don't like that the cards don't shake if you miss a playable card, or alert you somehow, because you have to play so quickly it's easy to miss a card, Obviously my pros outweigh the cons, but still....a timed solitaire game is not a stress relieving kind of game, enjoy! I kept thinking it would get better, after all it had a four and a half star rating. I used a credit, on it. I am disappointed.
It doesn't get harder, there is no story, and it lacks any excitement at all.
Good game for younger .kids, or beginners. I gave it 3 stars
because it would be good for kids. But after 10 levels of the same .. even they will be bored

I don't recommend this game.
