Mahjong
When uninvited guests arrived at the ancient Japanese temple, no one could have guessed that the once majestic shrine would become corrupted by evil spirits. These spirits brought such desolation and ruin that an impenetrable darkness filled the walls of the temple and a thick fog hid the once groomed paths. Now, even the bravest warriors are afraid to visit this place.

The task of ridding the temple of these spirits is a difficult one! Get rid of the spirits and restore the shrine by solving unique mahjong puzzles and filling the temple with the song of magic bells that banish evil forces. Restore the temple to its former glory!

Yay! This mahjong is definitely worth playing! These developers created Save the Nature Mahjong, which is a bit intense but still my favorite.
Forbidden Temple is terrific! This time I have enough time to complete level with 3 stars. Game backgrounds are adorable, and what I noticed - each background changes after a few levels, so the temple really stands reborn with every steps.

I love the music and backgrounds. BUT, there isn't a choice of relaxed play or timed play. I felt rushed to beat the clock and couldn't really enjoy the music which was awesome.
I don't recommend this game.

A Mahjong game has to have a wow factor, otherwise it's just another boring version of matching tiles. The main page of this game had graphic issues, so I could be wrong, but from what I can tell, this game is only available an a Timed Mode. A Mahjong game has to have a wow factor, otherwise it's just another boring version of matching tiles. The main page of this game had graphic issues, so I could be wrong, but from what I can tell, this game is only available an a Timed Mode. Timed modes are okay sometimes, but for the most part, a Mahjong game is supposed to be a game about Zen, it's supposed to be relaxing, not a frustrating, beat the clock kind of game. But that's just my opinion, I suppose some gamers enjoy the challenge.
You can choose from 4 different Tile designs, with 6 different Tile colors, and 5 different Base colors, one of which seems to be a leftover Halloween theme. Personally, I wasn't thrilled with the tile designs, they are just basic, unappealing designs. I vision Mahjong games to have elegant Asian themed designs with beautiful flowers such as cherry blossoms. There are 24 Achievements to earn, and any level can be replayed. Each level gives you 1 Shuffle and 3 Hints, once those are used, you have to purchase them, but they refill with each new level.
The goal is to remove all tiles from the board, before the time meter runs out. You will earn up to 3 gems per level, depending on how much time it takes you to clear the board. When you fill the entire bell up with gems, (you must earn all 3 gems on each level) a bonus challenge level will be unlocked. There are 120 levels and 24 Bonus Challenge levels available.
Forbidden Temple is just an average run of the mill Mahjong game. The music isn't relaxing, and the tiles aren't very pretty. There are no special features, and certainly no wow factor, so this is a game I'll pass on. Show less

Number one pet peeve - no untimed option! Not to mention the background is grainy and there is more storyline in the description of the game here on BF than when you start the game.
I was unimpressed with the game.
I don't recommend this game.
