Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass is the fifth game in 4 Friends Games’ best-selling fantasy franchise, and this time it centers around the famous tale of Alice in Wonderland. Once again, 4 Friends Games successfully found a way to present a rather tired story in an innovative and exciting way. The stroytelling is definitely top-notch, filled with fresh ideas, fascinating characters, and gripping sequences. Of course, a good storyline would not survive on its own without a solid gameplay. Luckily, Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass is also a perfectly-executed game. Players will appreciate the effort the developers put into bringing each scene to life, having multiple interaction spots, even those that are not involved in task completions. Further more, the hidden object scenes are neatly designed and include some smart twists. On a slightly negative note, the puzzles are often quite standard and the gimmicky Compass fails to generate any excitement or adds any kind of challenge to the game. Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass certainly does not disappoint on the production front. The visuals are absolutely gorgeous, thanks to the intricate artwork, imaginative scene designs, and the lush colors. Similarly, the audio is very impressive too. The background music is just as delightfully magical as the game itself, and the voice-acting is professionally recorded!

Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass is a fast-paced journey that is surprisingly original, unbelievably captivating, and a real feast for the eyes. There was so much stuff happening in Bridge to Another World: Through the Looking Glass that I lost track of time and simply finished the game in one sitting. This is a testament to how incredible and addicting the game is, since its five and half hours length is not at all short. I'm a huge fan of this fantasy series and I have high hopes for it's continuing success in the next edition as well. Cheers!

This is our second Alice in Wonderland in the series. My favorite in this series is Alice in Shadowland. This game like the others in the series has Beautiful graphics, 9 multi layered hops and 17 puzzles. 5 Chapters.

We have Mrs. Sheep's traveling trailer that you buy things that you need in Chessland. The game has the White and Red Queen as the main theme. I'm always delighted when you have throwback to other games in the series or from a maker. I guess only fans get this.

I had one puzzle in a hops and I could skip it staight away. The puzzles I like are shooting, maze, crown puzzle and falling heads to land on the bodies, which is tied to the other Alice in Shadowland.

9 hops and 17 mini-games. Yes, all games have them but some of us like to know because we buy them. The hops to me are lovely but a little too cluttered and almost too challenging. I would of preferred them just lovely.

I love this series it's one of the best on Big Fish! This newest chapter in this series is fantastic!
I actually purchased the Ce version of this game because I felt it was going to be worth the extra money and it really was!! You don't need to buy the CE version though because the story is tied up nicely by the end of the main game.

I just adored everything about this game. The graphics, storyline, music, hidden object scenes and even most of the mini-games!
This game was so entertaining and so well thought out that it flowed beautifully. I started to play this game around 8pm and before I knew it it was 3am? I did not realize that much time had gone by I just knew I wanted to keep playing and I wasn't going to stop until the end! I saved the bonus game until the next day so I'd have something to look forward to.
This game for me is tied with Whispering Secrets Enfant Terrible for game of the year! Perfection!

I loved how the whole story came together. You are always waiting for the next thing to happen. Playing with sound fells like you really are Alice. The graphics are awesome and smooth. I really recommend this game !!!!!

Interesting story line, beautiful and creative visuals, and FINALLY, A SATISFYING ENDING!!! Usually the hidden object games end very abruptly with no significant visual "payoff" for completing the game, but not with this game. I think this is one of the MOST satisfying endings of a game that I have seen in a very long time (if ever). Hats off to the developers of this great game!

I am so glad I purchased this game. It is wildly fun and challenging. I don't write alot of reviews, but really feel this deserves compliments to the story, puzzles and HOS's. The devs have taken storybook figures and turn them upside down. Players shouldn't miss this game. I give it the highest marks allowed.

There is a lot of game play here and it stays interesting. The game is not overly hard but there are a lot of mini games that I found unique and some of them are challenging. The graphics are pretty, music is fine and I actually liked the story. Overall I enjoyed this game and would recommend it.

This game is the most fascinating and fun to play "seek and find" that I've ever owned. The twists and turns that it takes keeps me playing for hours. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a lot of fun and a challenge!

Welcome to Chessland Alice #4 (sounds like a perfume doesn't it) The world behind the Looking Glass (aka mirror) is war-weary. The Red King and The White Queen have been waging war against each other for as long as anyone can remember, with little to no regard for the pawns they put in harm's way. The White Queen may have an ace up her sleeve with her unstoppable Jabberwocky Dragon, but the Red King may have the Queen in Check with his own secret weapon, Alice. She may just be a pawn for now, but soon, she may just fulfill the prophecy, and become the Red Queen!

I purchased the CE because I loved the Morphing Objects and the Puzzle pieces offered in that version. They are small items that didn't stick out like a sore thumb which made them harder to spot, you can also disable the cursor from changing to a hand when you scan across them, as well as a pull-out tab on the left that tells you how many are in each location and how many remain.

I loved all of the items you could interact with in each and every scene. Flowers and vines jiggle, glowing thingamabobers do their thingamajig (yes, that is a real word in HOPA land) dohickeys doodad, gismos combobulate and discombobulate, whatchamacallits perform whatchamacallit wonderwizzles, where's an Oompa Loompa when we need one?

I wasn't thrilled about the Gadgets, they were unnecessary and cheesy. The first gadget is a Compass to find objects in a scene, however, the objects could clearly be seen w/o the compass so why include it? You also collect Coins throughout the game that are used to buy items from Mrs. Sheep (not-so-little Bo-Peep or the not-so-lost Sheep?) traveling Merchant. She even gives you a tiny bell to summon her (she must have bionic hearing or at the very least Miracle Ear) yet another worthless feature...everyone knows the object you need is always lodged within a billboard, stuck inside or atop a tree, guarded by an animal, usually a bird/nest, or deep within a sewer drain, right?

I actually thought the Hidden Object Scenes were more interesting than the Mini-Games which is rare because I prefer puzzles over HOP's! The scenes themselves were located in interesting locations with really creative objects. I especially enjoyed the Humpty-Dumpty scene where you first had to select the words to finish his riddles, then find several Multiples of 4 categories and finish up with Keywords in Sentences. There are also Interactive List Finds and one where you had to find 8 Silver Objects.

The Mini-Games are just okay in my opinion, nothing that stands out, nothing really new. Below are brief descriptions of some of the games you'll encounter during the demo:

1) Swap puzzle tiles to recreate the crown.
2) Find objects described as Keywords to uncover code numbers.
3) Select Matching symbols for each token.
4) Find the objects shown on a compass that can be seen w/o?
5) Use the map to navigate while searching for items to help you progress.
6) Select adjacent areas to paint by selecting a section then color.

The Collector's Edition version has 11 Wallpapers, 16 Concept Art pictures, 5 Screensavers, 6 Music Soundtracks, 20 re-playable Mini-Games, 13 Hidden Object Scenes, 36 Movie Videos, 20 Achievements to earn, 42 Morphing Objects, 45 Collectible Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces to buy 6 Character Chess Pieces 4 Main Chapters +Bonus Chapter and a built-in Strategy Guide, enjoy your journey Through The Looking Glass!

WHAT I LIKED
The HO scenes were done well. Most were multi-layered and interactive.

The music was pretty good. Not spectacular, but not repetitive and annoying. Voiceovers were mostly done well with appropriate affect.

The CE bling offered was worthy of a CE. In addition to the portfolio, you could replay HO scenes and mini-games. However, I'm totally over the "collect puzzle pieces and get another jigsaw" extra. Lastly, there were multiple levels of Match-3 or more to fill your meters before your opponent.

WHAT WAS "MEH"
The bonus chapter's story was a bit thin on the ground, and parts of it were confusingly presented. I did like that it tied together Alice in Shadowland with this episode, though.

WHAT I DISLIKED
Exploration included too many shaped keys, some with multiple pieces. There are any number of more creative obstacles than these stupid things.

There were some bugs. First, I was unable to defeat the Queen because the second game board appeared already filled in. I had to quit and restart the game to get it to work. Second, the boss level in the bonus chapter didn't work. When I correctly matched symbols, it didn't register as a success. This made it impossible to win. Third, the bonus jigsaw puzzle refused to match up pieces that were in the correct place. I don't know whether these bugs are only in the Mac version or in all versions.

THE LAST WORD
Overall, it was an enjoyable game with a well-developed, interesting storyline and a variety of gameplay. Show less
