I played until I completed level 7. It has features in gameplay that I liked, but others I didn't like:
- The tiles are neat and clear
- The music was OK but became repetitive
- The grids were varied in size and shape (not always square)
- The grids I resolved were done using only logic, but that doesn't prove they are ALL feasible without any hint.

I played until I completed level 7. It has features in gameplay that I liked, but others I didn't like:

- The music was OK but became repetitive

- The grids I resolved were done using only logic, but that doesn't prove they are ALL feasible without any hint.

- I did not like the fact that I couldn't choose tileset
- I did not like that I could not choose difficulty: game auto-fills unused cells once row is complete; I could not choose whether or not to strike numbers 1 by 1... it only struck them out once row was resolved
- The numbers to the left and at the top weren't highlighted
- I didn't understand how the star system works
- I tried to make a mistake, and the screen simply blinked red, not allowing my mistake; that's original so I still got 3 stars
- I would have preferred a "name" to the puzzle once completed; I couldn't figure out a few of the pictures (but that's probably just me)
- the dealbreaker: sometimes I drag from the bottom, sometimes from the right; many times those actions did NOT register, especially if I included tiles already filled in. There are a few times where it even "erased" a previously filled tile! Those actions did NOT include a mistake, so why didn't it stick... maybe because you can un-select a previously resolved tile? (you can revert an already filled tile by left-clicking on it and right-clicking on one marked as empty.) But even when excluding resolved tiles, it seems I could only work top-to-bottom or left-to-right.

All-in-all, not a bad game, despite being resolved using only a single color: I own many nonogram games, but this won't be one of them (at least until I run out of options?) I'll come back in a few weeks' time to read reviews from people who completed the game... perhaps my preliminary judgment is a bit harsh.

Back when the Nintendo DS was a big deal, I loved the original Picross. I never finished it, though; it was fun, but it got old pretty quickly. For that reason, I didn't try "mosaic" games here on Big Fish for ages, I think the penguin one had over 20 or so games before I did.

NOW I was having fun! Seeing the colors as you go, instead of not seeing them until after the whole puzzle is done, adds a level of challenge that is just not for me. Even in "hard" mode in mosaic puzzles, you can still use the colors as a guide.

If you love the other Picross games, this is a good one. If you've never tried on, this version gives you a familiar look and feel, so it would be a good one to try the demo and see if it's for you.

If, like me, you saw the additions to the title and wondered if they'd changed that part of the game - nope! Still classic Picross play, just cuter. Not that that's a bad thing, just not my type of thing. Show less

This game was okay but very limited & doesn't seem to work well. I didn't like the fact that none of the numbers crossed out until you completed the whole line. Many times I had to fill tiles a couple of times before it actually filled them. Multiple colors would have made it a lot better.

I don't recommend this game.

A major problem for me is no identification of the picture. I like to know what it is at the end. Another issue is I get a multi color picture while only finding the tiles of one color. I don't mind one color puzzles, but it is very disconcerting to have the finished picture be multi-colored.

The inability to click on the wrong tile was refreshing. The inability to choose multiple tiles at once consistently was bothersome. Sometimes it worked going from top to bottom and sometimes from bottom to top.

Based on the level of games out there, this one is lacking. Show less

Now I realize that most people are going to actually try to solve these nonograms without purposely making a mistake, but why would a developer include a Star Rating System if it's impossible to lose a Star? When you make a mistake there's no penalty whatsoever, the board will briefly turn opaque red with a slight shake added for effects. I made a mistake because the numbers aren't highlighted (will explain that in a bit) and I thought I would lose one of the 3 obtainable stars, but that wasn't the case.

I thought that perhaps the game was just super generous and may require 3-5 mistakes to lose a star. On the next level, I tested this theory by purposely making 5 mistakes and STILL received all 3 stars. The next level I didn't look at any of the numbers on the columns or rows, I simply clicked on each individual cell to fill them in, if the board turned red, I'd right-click to ✖ or cross-off the cell. I solved the entire nonogram by randomly clicking each individual cell, and trust me, I made enough mistakes to put my score in a negative number category, so guess what happened to my score...you guessed it, not a thing, I still received 3 Stars. Surely, there has to be something that could cause you to lose a star, so I started the next level, without pausing the game, and I came back 10 minutes late and started randomly clicking the cells again, and STILL received all 3 Stars. Why bother with a Star System Rating if there's no possible way to lose a star?

The graphics are super bright with lots of Pink Hues and most grids have large cells, but honestly, it has the appearance of a mobile-device platform converted to desktop mode. There are no Difficulty Mode options, the numbers will only cross-off once the row and/or column has been completed. There are no Tile sets to choose from either. The goal of the game is to solve the Nonograms and collect all the recipes hidden within the Mini-Game at the end of each Continent.

When you hover the cursor over a cell it will highlight the column and row of the grid itself, but the highlight doesn't continue through the numbers on the outside of the grid making it difficult to see which set of numbers you need, especially when you are at the opposite ends.

Once you complete a Nonogram the completed image is shown, but good luck trying to figure out what it is! Not only are the completed images rather basic, but the color choices aren't very pretty either. Labeling the images is a must have feature when the tiles are flat and square with no depth or dimension. There are way too many good griddlers and nonograms available to waste money on this game folks Show less

I very much enjoy mosaic games. I haven't been a fan of the types that only use one color, but I thought I would give this one a try because it looked cute and had lots of levels. I wasn't able to make it past the fourth level without being completely bored. Because the game doesn't let you make a mistake, it is way too easy to solve. What's the point of playing a game with no challenge?

Where's the challenge??? There's no penalty for making a mistake, the game flashes if you pick something wrong. Who needs a hint???? Way,way too easy. OK for someone who has never played a nonogram game before but not for someone who has a LOT of experience. Very sorry I wasted a credit on this.

This is one of the poorest examples of pic cross I have seen. Nothing is marked off until you complete the row. If you have the first two numbers of say a 10 you cannot start on the first number and go across to ten. You have to start on the third number and remember you only need to go 7 more. The colors?
