I played the first Crystal Mosaics quite a long time ago and loved it. So I was excited to see a Crystal Mosaics 2 come out. It doesn't disappoint. The colors are still amazing. The game is very logic based and the pictures make sense. Crystal Mosaics although seldom released is worth waiting for. Hopefully they will continue to make this game. A story line would be welcome or a few mini puzzles ...Show more

I love this type of Logic based puzzle. I tend to play them all (Fantasy Mosaics a second favorite). I ply all types of games, these I play to relax. Most of the time I play without music as it just winds up irritating me. The first one, and now this one has pleasant, relaxing music that I can leave on low. Just enough challenge to keep me awake (unless I'm trying to get sleepy), but not too much ...Show more

Like the first one, Crystal Mosaic 2 has bright clear pieces that really do seem like crystals. The music is peaceful and relaxing, just what is wanted for a picture type game. So far the puzzles have been simple but I've only done a few so far.

I've got the first one and have replayed it several times. I'm looking forward to the same from Crystal 2.

I really enjoy these griddler-types of games. This game is much like others that have been released on Big Fish. There are pictures that emerge as you find the right tiles. My goal with each scene is to accomplish it without using a clue or making a mistake.

The colors are bright. It's easy to see the numbers and the colors unlike some other games.

It doesn't have some of the bells and whistles that other similar games have, but that doesn't diminish the fun in finding the correct tiles without using all the mistake stars. Show less

Once again, Crystal Mosaic delivers a beautiful Mosaic-Griddler with unique crystal tiles. The colors are bright and vibrant and pleasing to look at and the images are easily recognizable (and labeled) The only complaint I have is that the puzzles are far too easily solved, in fact, there are a couple of images that literally only take a few seconds to complete! Once again, Crystal Mosaic delivers a beautiful Mosaic-Griddler with unique crystal tiles. The colors are bright and vibrant and pleasing to look at and the images are easily recognizable (and labeled) The only complaint I have is that the puzzles are far too easily solved, in fact, there are a couple of images that literally only take a few seconds to complete! That isn't necessarily a bad thing, this would be the perfect entry-level game for beginners or an ideal game for relaxation.

There are 5 different levels with 20 puzzles in each level, you can earn 3 stars per replayable level when you make no mistakes (5 allowed) and don't use any of the 5 available hints. You can opt to have the cells cross-off automatically or manually, (auto-remove) and you can switch between colors easily. There is a Measuring tool that allows you to measure how many cells are in a row or column, which can be helpful in an oddly shaped puzzle. There is a Layer feature that allows you to switch from seeing all color layers to only seeing the particular color you are currently working on.

I like the option customization features, but what I love is that you can exit the game mid-puzzle and the game saves your progress. I never understood why some of the largest Mosaic series games don't have an option to save your progress forcing you to restart the level from the beginning?

That's about the best I can say for this game, but to be fair, I play them at work for 5 minute brain breaks. The level of challenge is good; completed areas are crossed off for you as you progress but by no means does it make it easy. The color tiles are lovely but I really do wish there was some kind of story.

This is a multicolored mosaic game. It is beautiful, but there are too many symmetrical (or almost), repetitive and predictable models, which makes it boring and, in my opinion, not worth the price.

This is a pretty simple nonogram. I didn't care for the "crystal" texture of the tiles. I finished the demo thinking it might get more complex. The pictures were also fairly simple when completed. I didn't find this a rewarding game to play but some might, which is why I gave an overall 3. If you are new to this type of puzzle you may enjoy it. I would not recommend it for the experienced player.

I don't recommend this game.
