I love these Wonderland, Cruise director, etc. games. I hope they continue.
THere are so many gorey loud and disruptive story line games which i do not like , so I just stopped playing them.
Instead I continue to play Wonderland and others over and over until a new holiday or vacation game are published.

So please keep making this series of games.

A very strange thing happened when I went to download the demo. It said I already played it! How could that happen when it just came out today as tomorrow's release, and I only opened the Big Fish website?

Anyway, I have it in my list as a game to buy so I must have enjoyed it. I only keep the ones I enjoyed.

I love this series and own all of them because they are bright and cheerful but come on can we change the scenery maybe create new families. New towns. We have now done 11 games that are all almost identical. Difficulty has improved and I am tired of the same places. Add another child or move them to an entirely new city and get some new friends and new shopping area. Stop reproducing the same ...Show more

I can't help it, no matter how cheesy or repetitive these games are, I am delighted when they arrive. I can't help it, no matter how cheesy or repetitive these games are, I am delighted when they arrive. I feel like a kid again on Christmas morning, waking up to discover Santa has visited during the night while they were sleeping! I don't even bother with the demo, what's the point? I know it's just an extra step, I know beyond a shadow of a Reindeer doubt that I am going to want to keep playing the game, this is my Christmas Present to myself! (and I know it's a game that my grandkids enjoy too :) For me, the HOPA Christmas games on BF simply means the Christmas season is ALMOST here, but when Christmas Wonderland arrives, so has Christmas!

You can play in Casual, Challenge, or Extreme difficulty mode, which is a new Timed Mode requiring you to find all Golden Christmas Trees and Lost & Found items to earn all three stars. There are 18 Achievements to earn and 16 Christmas Presents to purchase, and you can see the presents you've purchased by clicking on the Christmas Presents Display Tab on the Top of the screen, opposite of the Shopping Cart Icon where they are purchased,

Each Hidden Object scene has about 29 Listed Items to find, items in Red are hidden in or behind something, and items in Blue require a task such as dragging Roof Tiles to help the elves build the new workshop. There are usually two Zoom Zone Areas in each scene, the zoom zones (indicated by twinkling stars) may come and go, depending on whether or not the items are available on your list yet.

You will earn a Bronze Star if you complete the HO scene, a Silver Star if you complete the HO scene and find all Golden Christmas Trees OR all Lost & Found Items, and a Gold Star for completing the HO scene and finding all Golden Christmas Trees and Lost and Found Items. When all of the Golden Trees have been found, the doors will close on the Icon on the bottom left by the Inventory Bar. The Lost and Found Items are shown as Silhouetted Shapes within the Snowglobe (next to the Golden Christmas Tree Icon) When all Lost and Found items have been found, Santa on his Sleigh will appear to remind you that all items have been found. Remember, you will not earn all 3-stars if you don't find all 3 lost & found items and all golden Christmas Trees in each scene. Some of the Scenes have a Photo Opportunity Icon located somewhere within the scene. Once you find the icon you can click on it to add the photo to your Photo Album which can be visited by clicking the Camera icon located next to the trophy icon on the bottom left of the screen.

My favorite part of the HO games by this developer is the puzzles! Yes, they are the same puzzles, yes, they are super easy, but they are still fun and I still feel like a kid on Christmas morning...so don't judge lol! After each Hidden Object Scene, you'll solve a simplistic mini-game or puzzle such as placing those infamous puzzle pieces into Springfield's map, Rotating Square Puzzle Tiles, Jigsaw Puzzles, Word Search, Matching Pairs, or Spot the Difference.

Collector's Edition Extra's
The CE Bonus Levels have been incorporated into the main game scenes and have Rosette Ribbons to identify them. The Bonus Content takes place at the Fun Park Fair where Santa and his Elves have just arrived from the North Pole! There are 18 Wallpapers, 20 downloadable Music Soundtracks, and 48 Replayable Mini-Games and Puzzles.

I haven't been reviewing a lot of games lately because I discovered that felix has been allowing some developers with poor ratings to write reviews about their own games which is against their own guideline rules. No matter how often I submit a ticket to ask why they are changing these rules for some and not others, they refuse to even respond, 7 different help tickets submitted in the past 4 months alone!!..and not even a single Robo response! This tells me they know about it, are okay with it, and probably are participating in it? Are these reviewers paying for a monthly membership or is that a feature reserved for just us peasants? These past few months have been real challenging and I'm grateful to Casual Arts for these games so that we can unwind and give the ol' mind a rest. This genre is very calming and mostly fun to do. Christmas Wonderland fits the bill perfectly. The games are more sophisticated of late, and I have played game 5 through 11. I finished 4 of them this week. Number 5 was glitchy technically speaking but I worked around it; and it was before the photo album shots addition; and obtaining items and returning them to their destinations were tricky since you had no prompt to tell you where to put them as you do with the later games. However, I'm playing #6 now, and finished 5, 9, 10, and 11 this week. Easy peasy to some extent but very challenging in others. My only gripes are that oftentimes I'm selecting items I have no idea what they are and they are strategically situated in hard places, which is clever enough and a good thing, but the drawn items themselves are so tiny, you do need a magnifying glass to find them. Also, 'm seeing some of the same scenes throughout this series, the music is basically the same. In #6, the special effects sounds are good except every time I find an item, you'll hear tinkle bells, cute enough, but then it's followed by this annoying sound. So since then, there have been great improvements but the artwork, though tedious and decent looking, I commend the graphic artists for the hard work, but the artwork is shoddy in many of the scenes especially in the junk pile scenes.

When I searched the Lost and Found book with images found and some still unfound, nowhere in the image viewer at the scene could I find anything that looked like it, but I did eventually. I am happy to say never once playing these games have I ever used the hint button. However if I were to be timed, I would fail. Also, in #10 or #11, I skipped a minigame--rotating jigsaw puzzle--ugh, my least favorite. I have not patience for those, but I'm doing better. Also, in the later versions, you can now see a transparent image or small colorful image of the puzzle. A good thing!

But this specific game was very festive and in the spirit of Christmas and I enjoyed playing the SE versions as well. I only wish we go back and see once again what we have bought and perhaps check all the lost and found images. You can't do these things in CE versions either.

Still, I recommend this game! But CA, you need to get more creative and give this series an overhaul! Show less

I love the Casual Arts Game Series and have all series and all versions. That being said, I am finding that the games are getting repetitive with few new story lines being introduced and indeed scenes being repeated from episode to episode. I buy these games every year and I enjoy them, but I refuse to buy the collector's editions because they are not worth the price. I do feel that if Big Fish and the developers are going to release a CE first, it should be done earlier so that the SE can be released before the holidays. People want to play Christmas games during the Christmas season, not two or three weeks later. Also, the CE ...Show more

pretty sure I played this game a year ago, and I do mean 2019 not Christmas 2020 . If not then they just havn't changed much for next edition and shouldn't have released in middle of January anyway.

I don't recommend this game.
