Genies, magic carpets, gold redeeming ravens that can fly over obstacles to get gold, snakes and quicksand, poisoned wells ..and the list goes on. New features, new fun and yet our old familiar friends in the land of quicksand and funny looking fruit.

Genies, magic carpets, gold redeeming ravens that can fly over obstacles to get gold, snakes and quicksand, poisoned wells ..and the list goes on. New features, new fun and yet our old familiar friends in the land of quicksand and funny looking fruit.

This is yet another winner so kudos to the developers who never let the game get stale. All the friends are here, Mary casting spells, John fighting skeletons and snakes, max the dog gets snake venom antidote, and gremlin is here forging things on his anvil. So some familiar things including the puzzle piece on some levels. (marked on your map and you can go back if you miss it).. some new and colourful.

There are three modes of play, relax, normal and expert. And there are heaps of levels in this CE. There are 45 regular levels, 10 bonus levels, and an extra 15 for CE levels. Good value for so much fun! There are also minigames...I have only come across a 'memory' turn the tile game so far. I am sure there are more.

I did find the raven a little slow so you need to calculate this slow poke bird into your calculations, and I was glad I chose Mary casting spells faster as my first bonus ability..she can drag her feet a little too lol.

All in all...great value, great fun, if you love TM I cant think why you would pass this one up. Enjoy! Show less

No dark screen (graphics card must be powerful enough) and no glitch on level 28, just a trick: open all the roads before releasing the camels, and take care of the scorpions ! It is not very hard: all levels in silver at the first attempt : then it is no so easy to get the golden award...not disappointed ; and that's a compliment, given the number of series that are slowly sinking. I love the NY series and failed on level 28 like many others.
There seemed to be a glitch with the camels, I played it over and over again and resigned myself to it not being able to play it anymore. But after I got over the frustration...youtube has solutions for everything! So I searched for level 28 and...tadaaaaa.....guys...you will facepalm after this....I did. I hope I could help and the other gamers with that problem will read this.

For me this game becomes a little to overloaded, you loose track on things but maybe it gets better when you play it more often. After all it`s a fun and challenging game, the graphics are bright and I I appreciate that they don`t change the music.

I have all the games in this series and have enjoyed each one. When I first started this new game, I was not too impressed at first. Seemed a bit to easy to me and kind of repetitive of earlier games (I've played each at least 3-4 times).

I have all the games in this series and have enjoyed each one. When I first started this new game, I was not too impressed at first. Seemed a bit to easy to me and kind of repetitive of earlier games (I've played each at least 3-4 times).

However, after about the 8th-10th level, I started really enjoying the challenge!! Trust me, the challenge is there. I have had to play some levels several times to get the golden lamp, but that is one of the many things I love about New Yankee. It's not a series that can be completed in a couple of hours. It can take days (for those who do not sit in front of the computer 10 hours a day playing).

I don't understand how some find it boring. Yes, there are some of the same activities as in previous versions (skeletons, ice witches, scorpions). But, there are several new 'characters' and different challenges.

I feel the developers gave us some of the familiar things that we loved in previous versions while giving us new and fun things to strategize throughout the game.

If you're looking for an easy time management game, this is not for you. If you are looking for a challenge and fun at the same time, I think you will enjoy it. The trial will not get you into the more difficult levels, but once you get there, enjoy!!

Now, excuse me while I try once again to get past level 21 with my gold lamp!! LOL Show less

I find it very enjoyable to play and have no issues with things on top of one another as said by Cyril48 (maybe you're playing on a small screen), plus you can undo misclicks by right clicking your mouse button, like in all previous versions.

It was an instant buy for me especially as there is currently an offer to get money off. I'm only on level 12 but I just had to say how brilliant it is. If you've enjoyed playing any other New Yankee game, then you'll love this. Show less

Excellent game in this series! It has a relaxed mode, which I love, but there's still chalenge and lots to do! Fun characters, creepy enemies to defeat and nice, fitting music to work by and getting your supplies in order. This is the first New Yankee game I'm playing and I'm having a great time!

I cannot finish Level 42 because of the sands of time. Even after collecting them, they don't disappear in the header....so i cannot go further.
Can anybody help me?

I have loved every one in this series of games and this is no exception. Other developers could learn a thing or two about keeping a game fresh and engaging and introducing new elements. (Take note Alice in Wonderland).
