I really enjoyed "I Love Finding Cats" so this game was an immediate purchase and I was even more impressed with the quality and the features. I'm a dog lover who has been looking forward to this game for over a month. I really enjoyed "I Love Finding Cats" so this game was an immediate purchase and I was even more impressed with the quality and the features. Of course, finding the pups and adopting them are fun features but I like the fact that objects change to different formats from level to level, a Bonsai may be a silhouette in one scene and a few scenes later the Bonsai may be a real plant which makes it more challenging when you aren't looking for the same picture.

Each HO scene has 18 Listed Items to find with a Secondary Zoom Zone Scene. The listed items are highlighted to show which items are available in the current scene (if the listed text is opaque it indicates that item is not located in that scene but it will appear in bold print when you switch to the zoom zone or vice versa)

There are usually 2 Dogs available in the Main Scene and 2 within the Zoom Zone Scene and the pups are also available in the Spot the Differences HO scenes that follow each main HO level. You can zoom in to the scenes (including the zoom zone) using the Magnifying Glass feature, by double-clicking, or scrolling, you can even click on the magnifying glass and THEN scroll to zoom in even further...and the graphics still remain crystal clear!

There is no Timer and no Misclick penalties but you will earn more points for making fast consecutive finds (Combo x1, x2, x3, x4, etc.) Even though you aren't racing against the clock, you will earn a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Star depending on how many points you earn, so making combos is vital. This is one of the few HO games that I enjoyed replaying the scenes so I could find items more quickly in order to better my star rating by earning more Combo Points! There is a Hint feature available, however, you will earn extra points if you don't use the hint feature.

Each Hidden Object Scene will list the number of Pups available on the left side of the Inventory Bar. Finding the pups allows you to adopt 20 adorable Pups, and you can replay the HO's to search for any missed pups. When replaying a scene for a better score, it isn't necessary to re-find the pups, unless you want to because once you find them the game keeps track of this.

After every HO Scene, you will play a Spot The Difference game which has 2 more hidden Pups! After completing the Spot The Difference game you will get two puzzles that are dog-themed, such as shaped puzzles, clicking on square tiles until the correct image has been discovered, or rotating circular pieces to complete the image...and they aren't as simplistic as you'd imagine them to be!

This Collector's edition version has 21 Wallpapers, 12 pictures of the Developer's own Pups, 12 Music Soundtracks, 6 Extra Bonus Scenes, 12 extra mini-games, and 5 extra Adoptable Pups. ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ

An adorable game full of pups to go along with "I Love Finding Cats". Such a pleasant game for all of us pet lovers, to kick off a new day. The graphics are clear and colorful, some items are pretty small but with the nice graphics it doesn't take oodles of time to spot them. All the levels can be replayed.

The hidden items and critters are well blended into the scenes and really not that easy to find. The magnifier served me well a few times and there's also a great double zoom feature. I played a few games in the demo and spot the difference was my fave, as usual. It was a bit challenging and I like that. The puzzles were pretty easy but they were fun.

We're able to go back and forth to a second locati9on in our search for the list items. There is no misclick penalty or timer to fluster us, so that makes the game even more relaxing. I didn't rack up a great abundance of points on several levels because I used the hint a few times. However, I did earn extra points for quickly finding items consecutively. And of course I always am striving for that Gold Star.

I had a good time with the demo and I really am inclined to purchase the CE because it gives us more sweet doggies to brighten our day. My budget just can't swing it right now, but I'm content to wait for a good sale rather than go for the SE. If you enjoyed "I Love Finding Cats", this one is just as delightful and provides hours of fun, especially with the replay value. Show less

Review based on trial. I'm not a dog person, but how cute are those puppies?! I know I've got a good HOG when I have to use a hint and the item is right in front of me! That's how well some of the objects are hidden. The locations are visually appealing, even the junker of a car. Yep, I bought this game and I'm glad I did. Love, love, love the magnifier too!

I recommend this game!

I love this game! Am about halfway through the CE and am enjoying every scene. It's like playing I Love Finding Cats, which I also purchased and this version with pups is just as fun! Lots of different scenes, and many of them super-detailed, so it is often a challenge not only to find the puppers but the hidden objects. So I was browsing through the top 10 list and found this hidden gem. The cuteness already had me convinced but just to be sure I say let me try the DEMO first.

60 minutes of play time is not enough that I have to purchase the CE! I love everything there is on this game. Keep it up!

NOTE: I see that it is somehow a sequel to the kitties. I will definitely try that too.

I adored this game and also the cats version........bring on more of similar. I dislike all the 'scary' titles and don't usually buy Collector's Editions but both the pups and the cats were good solid gameplay and high quality in each criteria.
More Please.

For those who played "Cats" it's the same type of game play but this time on the levels you find four dogs and two on the "find the differences in the scenes." Some of the hidden objects are a tad difficult but the magnifying glass was a life saver on that. I found some of the puzzles rather difficult but finished most of them and loved getting points to purchase pups! Also loved the wallpapers and am applying a different one every day.

This is a game that to me is definitely worth the cost of a CE or two credits, and is a game you can sit back, relax and enjoy without the usual doom, gloom and bouncing back and forth between scenes just to find a key part.

Some of the music I didn't care for but it didn't take away from enjoying the game. Show less

I am addicted to I Love Findings ...Cats..Dogs..
I truly hope the next game in this series to be I Love Finding Cats & Dogs, together!
Looking forward to playing another game in this series, as I do not enjoy "dark" games.

Loved all places visited--some were really challenging. I purchased this game because I got the game "I love finding cats" and enjoyed that game I do think that the "pups" game is more challenging with the puzzles. I hope more games come out like this because they are really different.
