What a beautiful (and very long) M3. This developer always tries to make each of their releases just a little different then the last so all of their games have some new thing to look forward to.

Large M3 boards cover your entire PC monitor with crystal clear graphics & 3D looking M3 tiles.
This version of JM seems to be all crystalized multi-colored pieces. They move slightly within the square and you have the option to shut off the movement with the "static" selection. I did notice when the pieces are moving they appear even clearer.
I barely made a dent in the demo. This is a long game and a lot for your money; not to mention quality! They don't skimp ever. There is even an ambient sound of running water if you don't want to listen to the music & game effect sounds.

3 modes: Relaxed, Move mode & Timed
Normal, Advanced, & Insane difficulty

One of my favorite things about this dev is the absolutely outstanding build scenes you create with your M3 currency. And my other favorite thing is the wallpapers. I get so happy waiting to see what the next wallpaper will be because once you’ve finally completed building your scene it converts to a wallpaper.

MULTIPLE CASTLES TO BUILD: This game has more than one build scene to complete! So there are also multiple wallpapers too. Wow. Now THIS is how it’s done. I am playing Jewel Match Twilight 2 now and thought how amazing these scenes would be as screensavers instead of wallpapers because the completed scene has moving items within it when you’re done.

IN CASE YOU GET STUCK: I like to fast match in relaxed mode and this game can still get tricky sometimes. So whenever you get stuck and can’t proceed with a board, just hit the next board's arrow & move on to another board in the level first. In JM Twilight you collect GOLD STARS to make items move in the build scenes. The easy and fast way to collect those is to play the crypt option instead of going to the next board in the map directly. It will give you an option to move to the next level in the map OR "do you want to play" the alternate screen first for bonus stuff. In JM Twilight it's called the crypt so it might be named something else. But just know the game automatically asks you at the end of a completed screen every so often, because at first I just wanted to keep going with the regular game and hit "no" and missed out on a lot of bonus boards to earn the gold stars to use on the build screens. They are super easy to play and it's basically just rounds of collecting coins & stars as an M3 board. There are also mini games you can select and that is something else entirely.

I haven't played a Jewel Match game I don't like. My favorites in this series are the JM Twilight 2 (which allows you to rebuild all the build scenes once they are complete without playing the boards again) and JM Naturescapes.
I demo'd & bought JM Origins 1 Palais Imperial at the same time as this, as well as JM Aquascapes (wow) and recommend those just as highly.

I wish this dev would take a chance at making a new Ancient Egyptian themed M3 like Cradle of Egypt...I can dream...

Jewel Match is the creme de la creme of Match 3 games. This wonderful game from Suricate will keep you entertained for a long time with its many levels, games, palace restoration and extra features. I love everything about it and bought the CE to get the additional levels but, truly, you will be thrilled with the SE.

The graphics and colors are gorgeous, the palace we restore is grand. The levels feature multiple boards that we advance through as we finish each room. There is a Bonus Room also, where the object is to clear the jewels until no more matches are possible. Strategy is definitely useful here. Matching the tiles creates a pleasant tinkling sound. The boards are big and the jewel tiles softly twinkle, giving a nice visual effect that I love. The power-ups are unique and very effective and you can position them strategically to clear a specific area. The obstacles are also different and require a bit of strategy as well, but we still have the familiar chains. The shop has plenty of add-ons that you will want to purchase to strengthen the power-ups. You can also increase the size of your treasure chest so you won't waste any jewels. Coins will periodically appear on the boards which disappear if not quickly collected. So be watchful as they and the jewels are needed to restore the palace and earn the bonus games.

There are several Play Modes, my go-to is always Limited Moves but I switch around sometimes. The challenge is perfect for me but the options make it even more fun. The palace restoration is extensive, the opulent interior is a visual treat and I was surprised to see a couple of cats. The music is lovely, the map shows all the levels and where the bonus games are, the features and options are plentiful. Endless replay, fun extra games, beautiful visuals, 200 levels. Origins 2 is a grand addition to my JM collection. I especially love Naturescapes.

Some may find something not to their liking, can't please everyone even with a special game like this! For me it is flawless and one I'll play many times over. I enjoy Jewel Match tremendously and really appreciate all that Suricate puts into creating their games. The effort, creativity and talent doesn't go unnoticed. Show less

Though I would have been happier to get the CE version, I'm not going to complain that there is this one! It looks like it is a long game for an SE. Of what I've played, I prefer this one to the previous JM Origins and I really loved that game. You start off straight away with big levels and having to adopt a strategy.

I don't tend to play Suricate games for the castles, so won't comment on that. My only complaint is the music, which I do not like for its monotony and sort of hypnotic effect. Generally the Suricate game music is better than this, at least in the solitaire games.

I'm very happy I can play this now and will be happily breaking little gems for hours and hours. Show less

I love it and bought the CE version. I'm hooked on it but I'm stuck on the cobweb page - they multiply faster than I can clear them - any tips ??

Just finished yesterday. Wow!! Harder than others I have played, but enjoyed the challenge. Made really use my brain. Good thing.

Love this game. Great Match 3. Lots of levels. Stuck on level 131 in the collectors Addition, can't get the key out of the corner. Any suggestions?

1) If you accumulate lots of available powerups during one level, but do NOT USE them, you LOSE THEM when you play the next level. Not fair.

1) If you accumulate lots of available powerups during one level, but do NOT USE them, you LOSE THEM when you play the next level. Not fair.

2) Though I especially love the scenes in their TWILIGHT M3, I got really tired of gorgeous landscape scenes that are covered up by unattractive castles in almost all of their other M3 series. Especially true in this one where you HAVE to build the ENTIRE CASTLE in the first scene, and use all your bonus STARS for lots of crows, BEFORE you can upgrade the REMAINING SCENES, which in this one, are garish castle rooms (though I love the cats).

3) In this game, they use the "need to MATCH 3+ DIAMONDS (or rubies, etc.) right next to the block to break it way too many times. This is just tedious, mostly just luck deleting tiles until that specific gem falls close enough (or you just blast them).

4) Several of the power-ups are placed randomly when you use them. And, so far, their placement when I have used them are no help at all. So I only use the bomb and fireball, which I can place.

I STILL LOVE THEIR MATCH 3 GAMES - and definitely prefer them over their very cumbersome, annoying long play of their Solitaire games that require almost no thought or skill, just lots of blocks and changing number cards frequently requiring 2+ decks to go through just to make matches. Show less

les jeux suricates sont toujours aussi soignés et joli..
il y a quelques nouveautés mais le principe reste le même, on construit un château.
si ce jeu est agréable c'est un peu lent et répétitif mais ça reste très agréable à jouer
