In these games they each have a certain ability to which you need to unlock so they can help you in the challenges.

These games never disappoint and are packed full of challenges and even in relaxed these can become quite a challenge.
I have tried timed and I am far too slow so relaxed suits me.

To achieve 3 stars in timed is not easy and I admire all who take it on.
You can change modes at any time but it will take you to the map of the mode you change to. You can not go from one mode to another in the same game. Each mode has it's own game which for me is a bit of a let down but that's just me.

The first couple of levels you are just learning the ropes but it soon picks up and eventually you will have many tasks to perform.

You have beams of light to project to find a path and for me these took some working out. There is a hovering scroll which gives you instructions. If you are on timed I would read the scroll before you start the level as the tasks do vary and any time saved is a good thing.

All the usual characters are here including my favorite squirrel who puts in the odd appearance.
There are 15 levels extra in the CE so for me this is well worth it and the strategy guide is very good.

Overall this is a wonderful game and up there with the best in this type of TM. Try the demo and see what you think
usually I would advise to start in relaxed to get the most out of the demo but because you have to start at the beginning in each mode then maybe you should start with what you are most happy with.

All in this is a fantastic game for a TM and I am sure many will love it. Enjoy. Show less

I've loved all the Viking series from this developer. In this game, I played several levels and had no trouble completing the levels in the normal time. Haven't tried the "hard" level yet but will. There is a strategy involved (you have to do things in a certain order) and a few levels were played twice to get three stars. While very much like all the other games, this is still a ton of fun!

I purchased this after playing only the first level. It was like having an old friend back, familiar yet new. If you enjoyed the rest of the games, you'll like this one, too!

Solid resource management game--fulfilling tasks in fantasy worlds, with little Art Deco touches here and there. The 2 Brothers do the heavy lifting and the Sisters do the magical stuff. You can turn off sound fx and music, use your own pointer and turn off the Tutorial. The CE is worth it for the extra levels alone (never cared for wallpapers, etc--yuck).

Nice to know this is still around, with many of the quality touches still intact. Show less

Good cartoon graphics. Music is orchstrated Celtic based, Disney like, pretty good. It has booster choices on bottom rail. Some levels have Owl easter eggs. The owls are animated in the extras section and detailed, worth collecting.

I enjoyed playing the demo. This would be a great game for beginner Time Management players. Graphics are a little old school but that doesn't take away from game play. I played on Easy mode like I do all TM games. I play them more for the relaxing enjoyment and to improve brain muscle memory. I used to love the Viking Brothers/Heroes series but now it's become a frustrating game because the timer has become way too stingy and it's nearly impossible to complete levels with 3 stars...and I'm referring to the Normal Mode! Sure, I could play in the Easy Mode but I've never seen the point of playing a Time Management game without time restraints? I like the challenge of trying to complete the tasks before losing a star, but lately, most of the games by this developer have been the same way (with the exception of Golden Rails) and it has sucked all the fun out of the gameplay for me personally.

You can play in an Easy, untimed Mode, a Normal Mode, or Hard Mode. Perhaps Yustas would consider adding an in-between mode where the Normal Mode would have a Normal difficulty, and for those who love to play at a break-neck speed, you could add an Extreme, or Hardcore Mode?

The Viking Heroes have quite a task at hand when they become stranded on the Bifrost Bridge to Asgard. The goal is to clear a path to free our heroes who possess different skill sets which help us progress.

Naturally, you will clear & repair the pathways, repair bridges, build sawmills and farms, and collect resources along the way. Most of the resources come from Resource Chests that regenerate over time, such as Food, Gold, Stone, and Crystals...crystals that are ironically used to remove large crystals???

I loved the location terrain of most of the original Viking Brothers games, but I have to admit, this one wasn't that appealing it just seems sci-fi-ish. These are Vikings and Asgard was one of the sacred nine realms overseen by Odin. Vikings who died during battle were brought to Valhalla, a great majestic hall within Asgard, and considered by Vikings to be a tremendous honor! Asgard itself was a celestial city of high towers surrounded by a great wall which is clearly not depicted in these scenes. I get that it's just a game, but ya gotta have curb appeal!

14 Wallpapers, 16 Music Soundtracks, 21 Collectible Owls, 42 Achievements, 50 Main Levels, and 15 Bonus Levels.

I have absolutely no idea what I need to do to complete the level. I've watched the walkthrough and still don't understand what I'm trying to do.
