I absolutely love this series in the jig saw world. The only thing that I can think of to make it even more enjoyable is to have the names of the different puzzles. The pictures in this puzzle are amazing, but it would sure be fun to know the locations of where the picture is taken from.

I recommend this game!

No offense to the other reviewer (only one other review up to this point), but I have to disagree with, well, pretty much everything they said about this game. I downloaded and gave it a try, just to make sure. I found the puzzles pleasing and colorful, for the most part, and I've always liked the way these puzzles play, so I'm taking the time to urge others to give it a try, in spite of the ...Show more

Birds and animals are beautiful and interesting. I would think it impossible to make them anything less, but these pictures do them no justice with drab backgrounds and basically just very poor photography. There are, again, all those posed images using "models" that look ridiculous in their make-up and costumes. I'm wondering why a skillet of fried eggs, a Navy cap, a lamp post, a grass hut were even remotely considered as puzzle material. These are very unappealing puzzles!!! The outdoor pics are boring as all get out, just gloomy, lots of desolate locations with no color value. Seriously, I doubt that a shop would be able to sell any of these puzzles from this collection. I certainly am not inspired to spend any time on any of them. And without fun features and useful options, as usual, there's no reason for me to purchase this game. Maybe you'll not be as picky as I am and will find some fun and beauty where I could not. Show less

I have never found any of the puzzles from this developer enjoyable...I have no problem with the assortment of pictures...was happy to see some black and white and architecture...problem is the game play...having a box to put pieces in rather than around the working area...the pictures look rather blurry than sharp after you've finished...jigsaws are one of my favorites and we did have some ...Show more

I used to love the Earth Chronicles series by this developer because it had incredible images of wildlife and their natural habitats from across the globe. The images were so beautiful that I was willing to overlook the fact that they had no real features or worthwhile options. Over the last 3-4 years, the puzzles keep rolling out, game after game...but not a single feature has been added or changed other than the title...and the once incredible pictures are now just a collection of unappealing stock images.

There's not a single aspect here worthy of Raven about, even more puzzling... there are very few raven-themed scenes! Apparently, BF couldn't even find 3 lousy puzzles with Ravens to display in the above synopsis..but they did manage to find a picture of an owl, an eagle, a locomotive, a beach at sunset, a black kitten, and a goofy-looking dude with a sword on the 3rd image, I guess that's close enough to a Raven??

Once again, there is no option to continue playing after the Gold Cards are removed, and once again, the Shop still only has the same 3 features, a Mulligan (Undo) to purchase for 2500, a Shuffle for 2500, or a Joker to purchase for 5000. Once again, there are 9 Raven-themed card backs, and 3 different face cards, one of which is a large font. Once again, the soundtracks are exactly the same as every other solitaire game they've developed.

Once again, you begin the game in Newbie mode, which allows you to replay any hand, the Professional mode, which only allows you to replay the entire pack of 10 levels, can be accessed after starting the game in the Newbie Mode. There are 20 different Packs, and each pack has 10 levels, requiring the player to earn a specified amount of points to unlock the next pack. Once again, the scoring is similar to bowling.

Once again, the tutorial forces you to click another card from the deck on the first level (the same first-level design offered every single time) even though there are several more cards available to remove from the field. I'm STILL reluctant to skip the tutorial just in case they have added a new feature...which never happens...but still, I keep the faith!

I hate that when you remove a card with a Rose Seal, it takes forever as it explains what the card gave you. It freezes continued gameplay with a popup telling you what you won, usually +499 extra points, but occasionally you get a Joker, Shuffle, or a Mulligan. Finding two of these cards back to back is maddening!
