Birds and beauty just go together and this game is filled with them, a wonderful variety. The graphics are crystal clear and the locations are so colorful and brimming with beautiful scenery. There's lots to explore. The birds and other objects are a modest challenge in most scenes but some are more difficult to spot, especially the collectibles and morphs. The mini games are easy but I enjoyed the variety. I like all the features and love how the zooming works with several ways to enlarge the area. Stars are received according to the amount of earned coins. Earn extra points by not using hints. The collectibles and morphs are essential to receiving 3 stars.

The game is very enjoyable and gorgeous. This dev definitely has the knack for taking boredom out of hidden object games which, imo, is not so easy to achieve. I always appreciate the entertainment they deliver. Show less

Excuse me while I reminisce about the first "I Love" game from Tiny Little Lion...... I went to Big Fish to see what new game had been released. Hoping to find a new twist or just a reincarnation of an older game I enjoyed, I found I Love Finding Cats. Cats in different locations in every scene! How could I resist? I stayed up until I finished the game. The pull of looking for these cute cats while looking for hidden objects was irresistible. I played it a few times, and then my granddaughter found me playing. So her job was finding the cats while I found the butterflies and the hidden objects. Bonding over a computer game! How much more modern could grandparenting get?

While I love Hidden Object games, I have to admit I find the one with the dark, dreary scenes and the running around going back and forth to rooms and places I've already been to before tiring. I love the enjoyment of just finding the hidden objects. So when I found the first I Love Cats games, I was in love.

Not only were the objects fairly challenging at times, there were cats! And then there were dogs. And then pets. At the end of a long day when my brain was tired and just needed a respite from the problem-solving of the day, I could go and find cats or dogs or pets. Now I can find birds!

I can stimulate myself more looking for the elusive butterflies and if I don't find them, I can still move on to the next scene. How wonderful! I can go back and redo the scene if I want, and I'll have different hidden objects in different locations plus have the time to look around without being penalized. Or be penalized because I clicked on the wrong object.

The mini games are of the same caliber as the hidden object scenes.

From ornithologists to Probirders, this game has you covered! I loved finding birds from across the globe, both domesticated and wild, from tiny finches to large storks, pelicans, and birds of prey. I would still love to see a Strategy Guide, at least for the CE version, that lists where all the Morphing Butterflies & Birds are located!

When I first heard the title of the newest game in this series, I was worried that there was just going to be a bunch of finches, parakeets, cockatiels, and an occasional parrot or Macaw but the developer really did a wonderful job of finding a wide variety of birds, both common, and uncommon...and such beautiful birds at that!

Each HO scene has 18 Listed Items to find with a Secondary Zoom Zone Scene. The listed items are highlighted to show which items are available in the current scene. You can zoom in to the scenes (including the zoom zone) by clicking the Magnifying Glass, Right-clicking, Double-clicking, or Scrolling. You can combine these features by clicking on the magnifying glass and THEN scrolling, which zooms into the scene even further...and the graphics still remain crystal clear! I really love this feature, and it works flawlessly every time.

There are no Timers or Misclick penalties, but you will earn more points for making fast consecutive finds (Combo x1, x2, x3, x4, etc.), and you'll earn more points if you don't use the Hint feature. Even though you aren't racing against the clock, you will earn a Gold, Silver, or Bronze Star depending on how many points you earn, so making combos is vital if you want to earn a Gold Star.

GOLD STAR TIP: it helps to concentrate on finding all collectible birds & morphing butterflies on the 1st attempt; while taking your time to find the listed items. Then you simply replay the scene (you won't have to bother with finding the collectibles if you found them the first go-round, they will still appear in the replay scenes, but the game registers them as already collected), Because you are familiar with the HO scene at this point, it's usually easier to find the listed items quickly, even though the items to find change each time you replay a scene.

There are 16 Hidden Birds in every scene, including within the Zoom Zone. The Birds will convert to Adopt Points, allowing you to adopt 14 different birds (20 in the CE version), even an adorable penguin! Each scene also has three beautiful Morphing Butterflies, some of which are tough to spot! Each Morphing butterfly equals 3 Puzzle Pieces in your Butterfly Album. Simply "release" your butterflies and drag the round puzzle pieces to the correct area to complete a beautiful butterfly that can be downloaded as wallpaper. (18 total, 24 in the CE version)

After every HO Scene, you will play a side-by-side HO scene (with three additional birds), Spot the Differences, a puzzle, or a mini-game, such as Cycling through square tiles until the correct image has been discovered or dragging colored squares to a grid, from light to dark, for each individual color.

I was disappointed in this game. Some birds and items are easy to find but there are many others that are so blended into the scene that you still don't see them with the hint. I didn't enjoy this game much at all. There are too many other good games out there to waste your time on this one.

I don't recommend this game.
