i bought the other two of this serious also.
enjoyable
but a lot like wonderland rabbit
alice in wonderland etc
pretty easy to get all 3 stars even on hard mode

Why only four stars? Well, it's actually 4.5 if I had the option. But I subtract a little bit for the stilted animations although the overall graphics quality is pretty decent.

Resource management you can play timed or relaxed, with the options of adjusting music, sounds, using your system pointer and turning off dialogs and hints.

Resource management you can play timed or relaxed, with the options of adjusting music, sounds, using your system pointer and turning off dialogs and hints.

The slightly mysterious tasks and objects continue, with your frequently having to figure things out on the fly if you're playing this timed. Really cute settings, with a few reminders of Alice's Wonderland but with its own personality.

Saving my pennies for the Collector's Edition as I find the extra levels to be worth it. Not so much the puzzle you build with the objects you find in the levels but that' me. Let's hope they keep it up! Show less

I really like this dev's games...they run smoothly and have lots of features. But the 'Ellie's Farm' series is my least favourite of the many they produce.

I find the graphics dull, sometimes hard to tell what's what, and the gameplay...almost 'boring'. Sorry. It's an OK game..but it is not a standout for me. But it's a pass for me as I have others in the series and this one does not really add ...Show more

I really like this dev's games...they run smoothly and have lots of features. But the 'Ellie's Farm' series is my least favourite of the many they produce.

I find the graphics dull, sometimes hard to tell what's what, and the gameplay...almost 'boring'. Sorry. It's an OK game..but it is not a standout for me. But it's a pass for me as I have others in the series and this one does not really add anything exciting.

It has everything.. a bat to click for your pictures, and a strategy guide...hidden objects to find..if you hit the last button on the '?' will show you where they are (and you will most likely have to)..but it all left me a bit flat. Try the demo always and see what you think.

I will recommend it...as there is nothing really wrong with it. Just too 'samey' and not my favourite graphics at all. Show less

It took me a while to get into the Ellie's farm games because I didn't "get" the strategy, but once I got it, these are pretty fun! In previous games, there is a fruit or a vegetable on every level with a puzzle piece on it. When you collect all those, you can put together a puzzle. It took me a while to get into the Ellie's farm games because I didn't "get" the strategy, but once I got it, these are pretty fun! It's clear that this game in the series is also meant to have a puzzle piece on each level because once you complete each level, it shows you are missing the puzzle piece, but they are nowhere to be found within the levels! I'm not a fan of the Market feature in this edition of Ellie's Farm, or any other Time Management game for that matter, where you are constantly having to sell products for Gold. I prefer to mine for gold (especially when the gold is inside a cave or mine, which makes it more realistic) or find gold in treasure chests. I'm not a fan of the Market feature in this edition of Ellie's Farm, or any other Time Management game for that matter, where you are constantly having to sell products for Gold. I prefer to mine for gold (especially when the gold is inside a cave or mine, which makes it more realistic) or find gold in treasure chests. I don't mind having to purchase items, like in this case where you have to buy fishing poles, shovels, worms, etc., to be able to fish for food.

I also don't understand why Big City Lab suddenly stopped allowing us to access any of the CE bonus material unless you purchase the game. You can't access Achievements, or any of the CE extras, such as Wallpapers, music, bonus levels, or anything related to the CE bonus materials. You can't even open the Collectibles Tab, nor can you access the Art Palette feature in the demo portion! I don't want to purchase a CE version at twice the price if I have no idea what I will get for my money!?!

The graphics tend to be a bit unappealing most of the time because, obviously, there are a bunch of burnt trees and stumps, but also, this edition is about building sustainable farms so you're dealing with a lot of compost used to plant tomato plants.

Surprisingly, there aren't many things blocking the paths. Most of the challenge comes from having to process wheat via mills and visiting various markets to buy either compost, shovels, fishing poles, worms, or selling fruit & vegetable produce for Gold.

Each level in the CE version has hidden collectibles. You need to find all of the pictured items to complete the Puzzle...again, you cannot access any of these extras unless you purchase the game. There is a Morphing Bat to catch in each level, as well. This awards you with a paint palette to be able to paint...something?

I played the demo and didn't care for the overall strategy. It's a bit slow and it wasn't always obvious what I needed to do next. I think it's a good game, just not my preference for time management.
