I purchased this game as soon as it was available (a couple hours ago). First impressions: same enjoyable gameplay as previous offerings in this series. You are to find the listed objects, a key (which unlocks a "fun fact") and a "collectible" (a star, which unlocks Unlimited Mode). Like the other Finding American games, some listed objects morph and others require some type of interaction to "find." I've discovered that in this game, more precise "object clicks" are required - getting pretty close often won't cut it, so if you play on the more difficult modes, that's something to bear in mind. The opening scene is a dingy subway station where you are instructed to clean up a floor stain with a mop and finish some graffiti with a can of spray paint - I thought this was a dismal opening for a game about picturesque New England, but the scenes improve as you progress through the game. The wonderful and soothing acoustic guitar music is back, happy to say! Minis are hit and miss for me - I'm no fan of color the picture but I like jigsaws; later on you'll apparently encounter a "guess the word"/Wheel of Fortune, which is definitely more up my alley. I'll rate this game as Recommended. Show less

The developers from Boomzap wanted to show their pride in the USA by showcasing cities and states across the country. Finding America has covered The Heartland, The Pacific Northwest, The West, The Great Lakes, and now, New England. I like the fact that they are covering states that are rarely featured in traditional HOGs, and I can't wait to see which states they feature next.

But I can't move the mop in the very first level. I tried everything. I uninstalled the game and reinstall it again being that I didn't get past the first level because of the mop. Can someone please help. Thanks

Some serious misrepresentation of New England...sloths? in the Green Mountain Forests?
Graphics are crisp and beautiful......but game is a tad jumpy and initially was unclear what are collectible items and fact (stars and keys) Also repetitious in scenes, disappointed

So I usually buy these games, however I am going to pass on this one, not sure what I was doing wrong but several times instead of advancing it would send me back to the very first scene. It does not keep track of the stars and keys for each level, sometimes I forgot to find them and did not realize that until the scene was finished. My biggest complaint is having to sit while the "skip" button fills, I do not believe I should have to sit and wait if I do NOT want to play their mini games, let me pass immediately.
