I didn't like this game in the beginning, earning Stars is a turn off. But I completed the demo and was pleasantly surprised. The challenge games are different, a few new games that I haven't worked through before, a few that haven't been in games for a long while. The voices were turned all the way up and I could barely hear them. I keep my volume knob at the same place for every game and I had to turn that up just for the voices. Where did the interactive scenes go?

The only mini-game I liked was the swap flower petals. Actually, has one nice wallpaper without a character. Liked the 10 fashon clipings, 10 morphing barber tool and 70 hair cut coupons. Replay 36 videos, 16 hops, 48 mgs. Has 3 chapters + bonus, 15 wallpapers and 15 concept arts. Show less

Same old format with wpc and detective helper trying to solve multiple murders - yawn
Feel like I needed a fast forward button for this game

I played the demo and got frustrated because of the excessive amount of mini games. You can play in Custom Mode to have zero time for skips. The game is just not for me. I wont be buying

Graphics were very good, characters looked great, puzzles and HOPs weren't bad but again the HOP scenes were quite dark which, I think, is an unfair way to conceal the items. I play all the demos, right to the end, hoping for a light at the end of the task tunnel but all I get are more tasks and games and not much at all of the story. It's always on the back burner with just little bits of it appearing for a few moments here and there. It doesn't take long for boredom to set in.

I love gruesome murder themes, finding clues and evidence and then the culprit isn't always as obvious as we think. As the story unfolds I enjoy the adventure, discovering the reason for the crime. But I don't get any of that from these games, just HOPs, puzzles, useless stars, a sprinkling of story.

Domini fans may be eager to snatch it up and others might love what I do not like about the game. For me it was just so-so and no different than the other games in the series. Show less

I want a good Hidden Object game and this one has TOO many puzzles, which I don't like. I ended up skipping them and moving on. If it states Hidden Object, there should be many more Hidden Object Puzzles.

I've played most of the Criminal Archives games and found that they all seem to have horrid English translations, a person's name is pronounced differently by several others, and objects are misnamed repeatedly (eg. I've played most of the Criminal Archives games and found that they all seem to have horrid English translations, a person's name is pronounced differently by several others, and objects are misnamed repeatedly (eg. "table" is their word for the vertical base for a bust, etc.). Apparently the voice-over actors never have contact with one another, and no one bothers to edit anything before the game is released. In this game, the cop pronounces "Beckensale" as BAKE IN SALE. The barber pronounces it BECK IN SALE. The cop pulls a gun on suspect who is lunging at us with a knife and an unknown substance in a bottle. Instead of shooting or otherwise trying to stop him, she watches him release the chemical on me and then lets him run off. She did nothing. Where did she go to the police academy?? Maybe later on in the game, we learn that she's the killer.

The puzzles are all redundant and irritating. They all seem to be the 2-steps-forward-1-step back style. I prefer logic and linear progression. The good news is that the graphics and sound effects are stunning. Perhaps this is a perfect game for someone else. Not for me, I'll pass. I prefer games that make you think; such as Hidden Expedition-Smithsonian Castle and Curse at Twilight-Thief of Souls. Show less

The Strategy Guide is confusing cause it doesn't follow the game in places and it's missing puzzle solutions. This game does have too many puzzles .I have played games from this company recently never again .
