I love a New Yankee game and chances are if you are a fan of the genre you will enjoy it too. A fun time management game that's achievable without being too easy. Nothing overly new here, but that's also what makes it enjoyable!

This is a great game; it looks like some members use their game reviews as a platform to criticize the seller instead of giving useful feedback to the developer about what they like or don't like about some features of the game.

That's unfair to the developers because you don't like what BFG decides to sell or at what price. Perhaps feedback to Customer Support would be more helpful as nobody ...Show more

I, for one of possibly many, enjoy the NEW YANKEE series; they require strategy and have colorful (not to be confused with "childish") graphics. A nice and long game for an SE. Show less

Love New Yankee games and this one is delightful. Somehow, fifteen games in they still have new challenges and a silly, intriguing new story. The cast's been split up for this one and levels star one set or the other, so you have different abilities at different times.

If you like time management or love New Yankee, this one's a great game for you!

People who are familiar with this game series appreciate the development that the creators put into it to make it a winning success. People who are familiar with this game series appreciate the development that the creators put into it to make it a winning success. Same great, colorful graphics; new variety of variety background orchestrated music, not bad nor boring; and a new bonus selection on the interface. The levels are pretty much all new.

The interface has all the options you would expect on a well designed game interface. As before there are 3 time modes- relaxed (no time), easy and hard. In relaxed you just have to finish the game to get the 3 stars. That opens up all the extras

Some levels has hidden puzzle pieces that once found you need not find again if you have to return to finish the game later or replay it.

The game has a fairly good strategy guide for each level that can be loosely followed. It also has a built in hints feature that can be disabled in options.

Now the bad disappointing part. There are 4 levels I found impossible to achieve the gold award in the easy time mode. After several tries around the strategy guide I gave up. No walkthroughs yet on the web that I could find. Maybe after several months one will appear. Show less

I've bought all of these games since the beginning and this one just makes me look forward to having the level over with. Full of surprise requirements and too much clicking. All engineered to make you play the level twice instead of requiring strategic planning. Ew.

I really like the New Yankee games. It is the only time management game I play. However, for this one they have a new feature which is earning gear\equipment for your hero's but I can't get any of it no matter which game play I'm in. Relaxed, Normal or Expert o gear\equipment shows up even when it says I have it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling too and still nothing. I hope I don't need ...Show more

I am a huge fan of the New Yankee series and have faithfully purchased the games over time. This is the first time I am completely disappointed in a game.

This game looks like a rush job to just push out the next edition. It is buggy (e.g. graphics freezing randomly, mouse selections unavailable) and was clearly not given a thorough walkthrough.

2 specific examples come to mind:
1. The transition screen used in the first few levels is easily recognizable as one of the bandits from the Golden Rails series.
2. At the end of Level 5, you get stuck looking for footprints and I have been unable to even get past it. You get the magnifier, Max finds what looks like chicken footprints and then no other prints show up. Show less

I went to download it and it said that I already play it that's because it was on here before guessing big fish doesn't know how to make new games all they seem to do is add numbers to the games to make us think that they're new
