I can't even remember the last time I played one of these games & just loved every second of it.
It's been years.
Probably more than a decade.
Whoever created this should continue making this style of game.
Each & every mini game was different. There were fun things to do within the HO scenes as well.

So fun to play.
I did a little every night.

I wrote this as a special promotion of exclusive access to try before it is released to the public. However, the time of life had me delayed a bit before I could send the review. Firstly, this is not a map of wandering around to discover new things. City of Stories is the title of a game of following a book; yes, there is quite a bit of reading about a storyline. There are unique collectible objects to find within the storyline that offer a different challenge. If you are not in the mood to search and find, no worries; there is an alternative method (match-3) to build coins for the magic garden, which can be purchased throughout gameplay. The magic cards throughout the game are a tarot style that also creates the dynamics. Overall, one thing that I enjoyed about this game was the different mini-games. The mini-parts were not overall hard and were unique to the game. The hidden objects were different enough that purchasing this game was well worth it. While the acting is a bit below average, the game pace of the storyline corresponded with the flow of the game, making for a relaxing game that was truly enjoyable. I also enjoyed that there were no grammatical errors, and each part was meticulously calculated as a part of the game's theme, making for an alternative experience that allows players to become immersed in the storyline. The cartoon-style art is unique enough that an individual can identify the hidden pieces to be found. City of Stories game may be a sleeper, but being able to read throughout gives the feeling of being a part of a story that is not to be missed. This game is genuinely great, and I hope there are more like this. Show less

Another important note: when I bought this game, I was told that it was a mac version, but when I made the purchase via the Bigfish client, it went on without any problems with the Windows version ...Show more

I have all the games in this series and think they are top notch. I am not overly wild about the voice overs, but I can easily overlook that since the game play is so excellent. I'm not one to go into great detail like a few others do on a regular basis. I'm not one to go into great detail like a few others do on a regular basis. I especially like the puzzles where you have to go back and forth through 4 or 5 panels to find things and then insert them in correct places. Some hidden objects are very challenging to find, but using the hint feature doesn't upset me. I'm in it for the challenge and the fun of it - isn't that the point of playing a game? Maybe Pennmom or HeavenBound will pop in and give one of their Indepth reviews. So happy to see this game since I have enjoyed the previous ones in the City of Stories series. I've purchased the CE versions each time. I hope there is another one coming down the pike to brighten my day. Show less

Right up my alley. I love this game. It's actually fun to play.
I love that in the hidden objects you have minis to play to get the object. It's always different and I am not getting lost.
You also have to find things and then put them back where they belong. Visuals are awesome. I would love more games like this one. thank you to the deveopers and big fish for bringing this game to us.

I really enjoyed this game. There were several different types of puzzles and mini-games. That made this a fun game to play. The story line was interesting and so were the characters. I would play this game again.
