I am normally not into "fashion" styling games, and yes, I found it challenging to not only get through a level, but to meet every challenge that was on each level. I am going to go out on a limb and assume this game is aimed at moreso the female, but it would be interesting to hear opinions from males who enjoyed the game also.

The sound isn't a major issue in the game, and I actually could live without the music just because I like to have other background stuff going on when I really don't need the music. The graphics are great for the type of game it is and the music is fine too. In this game, I did not need the music on the game and I did like to have the sound to hear if I was making a good choice and the countdown.
So, the game is quite addictive and challenging even for someone who's not really into fashion and such. I went through the game twice, and I think it's as good as the newer editions of this game series. Show less

I love when you expect nothing and then found something interesting. This is the kind of game who offert more than it seems. Fun, addictive, great gameplay and really fashionable ! A good challenge. Be prepare to go on the stage and give your best "girly" shot ;o)

Finally, a time management fashion game that isn't just about being a sales clerk. This is still by far one of my favorite games. The two sequels are also excellent. You actually get to choose what the models wear on therunway. Finally, a time management fashion game that isn't just about being a sales clerk. This is still by far one of my favorite games. The two sequels are also excellent. You actually get to choose what the models wear on therunway. That is the whole games rather than a mini-game stuck in a customer service game.The only real downsides are that it doesn't have much of a story, and near the end you find yourself just throwing outfits together so they get out in time rather than caring if they look good. I would love to see an untimed fashion show version. Frankly, I'd just like to see more like this at all. Show less

Love all of the games in the Jojo trilogy! - I think this one is the most challenging. There aren't any other games out there quite like them (sadly). Dress models in time to head down the runway in "appropriate" fashions. Earn bonus points by chaining styles and creating "signature looks." Challenging, very fun, little quirky, totally girly. This is still a fantastic game.

So going through my games, I thought I'd review some of my old favorites. And even though this game has been available for years, it remains at the top of my list. It's one of those I constantly fall back on when I need something to help me relax and have fun.

This is a very basic time management game where you must dress the models and make sure to send them to the runway before time runs out. Making "model chains" and "style chains" gives you added points, and there are three signature outfits on each level that will give you an extra 1000 points a piece. There is just enough of a challenge to make the game interesting, but it never reaches that point where it becomes so difficult that it is annoying.

There is a very minor storyline that you can follow, but if that isn't your thing, it's very easy to skip over those scenes and get right into the board. They never really interfere with the game play.

The game seems very family friendly; yes, the models do show up in their underwear, but they are very cartoon-like and nothing seems inappropriate for most players. I think a lot of girls would really enjoy this game. That being said, even as an adult, I have had a lot of fun playing it.

There are a few things that are a little irksome. Some of the boards become really difficult because the one-piece outfit required for the signature outfit doesn't show up when you need it. Even refreshing the board with the provided power-ups can sometimes leave you without the right outfit. However, that rarely happens with mix and match pieces, so sometimes the only option is to play a board over if the right one-piece does not show up. Also, the entire level where you match colors or patterns can become a little tedious and the short amount of time given can get real old, real fast. The major enjoyment I get out of this game far outweighs the few issues though.

I don't know if this review will help anyone given how long JoJo's Fashion Show has been out, but if you're new to the site or are just looking for an older game to spend a game credit or a free game on, I would highly recommend this game. It might just give you a few hours of fun and escape which is generally something I look for in my games. Show less
