This is a fun game but it might be worthwhile reading some of the suggestions, tips and hints from the games forums to understand certain aspects of the game play. While fun it can seem long and never ending and I used this game and others to break the occasional tedium of the long plays. There is a bit of a challenge to this match 3 but not overly hard. This is a fun game but it might be worthwhile reading some of the suggestions, tips and hints from the games forums to understand certain aspects of the game play. While fun it can seem long and never ending and I used this game and others to break the occasional tedium of the long plays. There is a bit of a challenge to this match 3 but not overly hard. As for the graphics and sound quality... they are very good. If one spreads this game out over time and in between other games then it will stay enjoyable.

One tip I do give you is... Buy the town pieces in order and definitely do not buy the last piece before the others. If you do you can't buy the other pieces afterwards. Show less

Still playing but had to comment. I'm at level 368 (I believe the game has 500 levels.) The boards are varied. You earn gold, food, magic and a score. The real object is cleaning all the "plaques" -- the game gives a score and a percentage of plaques cleared. There are five power ups but not always available. I've only gotten to 90% -- trying for 100%. Rumbic does it again!!

I recommend this game!

This started out looking like it was going to be a fun match 3/builder game. However, I am now in excess of 125 levels and I have only 2 power ups/bonus which are fairly useless except when there are no moves anymore. (There is no scramble option so if you don't have a "hammer" or a "bomb" the board shuts down and you start the level over.)

It takes a great deal of "food", "magic" and "gold" to buy the village buildings so you end up playing level after level just gaining a few points each level. Still not understanding what they call Plaques which I am assuming are the colored "tiles". Apparently you don't need to clear all of these and its pretty impossible to do it anyway. You don't get points for them so why have them?

It is turning out to be one of those match 3 games you have on your computer for a long time and just come back to play when you run out of other games. Too bad they didn't design it better, it could have been good. Show less

You also don't know what achievements you are working toward. They finally quit coming, or I'm just not getting them. I can't tell. What triggers the "+" to help you, if anything. I never did figure out what the object of the game is. It is a very basic match 3 game & the level ends for no particular reason. Doesn't add anything as time goes on. Just the same monotonous game over & over.

I like Match 3 games but this 1 was different. You need to slide over the items to match. Same type of story as Cradle of Rome but set in Ireland. I only played a few levels & was not overly happy.

And it began so well!! Until it failed to provide something to buy. It appears to be endless and because of this becomes mindless. Save your money
