I'm not into story lines; I usually just scan them for something that might be important. And I can't judge the sound quality because I don't usually have the sound on either! But the visuals are great. I just love HOS. They are not too difficult to find; just moderately. I only used a couple of hints. Every once in awhile I crave an old school hidden object scene where you just find objects and then solve some kind of puzzle in-between. Every once in awhile I crave an old school hidden object scene where you just find objects and then solve some kind of puzzle in-between. I have played most of them but it seems I missed this one along the way. This game is totally old school and if you don't like pure hidden object scenes you probably won't like this one. However its just what I needed. You are an agent of Interpol and have to solve crimes by finding the objects and then solving the mini game at the end. You have 4 hints per chapter and that was plenty for me. I was able to locate most of the objects myself and the only mini game I struggled with was the spot the differences one because well the game graphics are a bit outdated and the blurriness didn't help find the differences. So each round I made sure I saved at least 2 hints in case I stumbled upon that game and then I had enough hints to get me through to the next and so on. There are no voiceovers or anything else fancy about this game except you can play in full screen, with or without a custom cursor and you can turn the volume up or down. These games can be really relaxing and I found that this rainy night was the perfect excuse to play such a game. Kudos. Show less

Game follows the same structure as the 1st Interpol and uses those locations. The scenes are large and not too crowded; objects are well defined. There are 24 missions to solve. You are on the tracks of “The Collector” and his team, who are wanted for larceny, theft and deception. You visit two or three locations and search for 18 or 28 objects for each mission. You then solve the crime by looking ...Show more

Game follows the same structure as the 1st Interpol and uses those locations. The scenes are large and not too crowded; objects are well defined. There are 24 missions to solve. You are on the tracks of “The Collector” and his team, who are wanted for larceny, theft and deception. You visit two or three locations and search for 18 or 28 objects for each mission. You then solve the crime by looking for 10 of a single object or differences between 2 pictures.

You are timed for a maximum time of 24 minutes per mission. You can set the ambient, sound effects and music volumes. Game took 3 ½ hours vs. the 8 ½ hours for the 1st game (which had you visiting many more locations per mission). Comparing the two games, the 1st game was too long, this one a little short (but that may be because I found most everything without hints since the locations were familiar). Show less

Pictures in hidden objects use foggy images to hide items from view. Some objects are so small your are not even sure what they are. Small amount of scenes. Challenges are repetitious. I should have played more of the free game ahead of buying. Loved the first Interpol game so I thought this would be the same quality.

I don't recommend this game.

The first Interpol was a junkpile search, and the sequel is more of the same except much shorter. You play an agent who visits the same eight to ten scenes to catch a ring of three criminals by picking up random objects over and over. Yes, really.
