Sky Kingdoms is one of those rare finds: little known, but an amazingly good game. The visuals are stunning and there is a variety of game play not seen in most other marble poppers, along with a good challenge level. In addition to the keep the balls from reaching the end usual gameplay, there are "chain reaction" and "snake" levels in which the object is to either score as many points as possible by making the largest setup, or remove all the balls on the "snake" which are actually parts of the dragons you must beat to advance to the next chapter. The dragons make it interesting by firing their own varied shots at you to avoid.

The sound effects are as good as the graphics, and you'll enjoy creating a good setup just to see the light show and hear the explosions. However, this is where the game's main problem enters in: If you don't have a good graphics card and processor speed to match, you're in for some pretty annoying issues (freezing or crashes). I wanted to keep this game, but my computer wasn't able to handle the graphics overload in certain places so I eventually had to give it up. Show less

Really enjoying this game, while also finding it amazingly (and not in a good way) frustrating!! Sometimes (at the higher levels; I don't remember it doing this early on), between shooting a marble and the marble landing in the 'train' -- THE STUPID THING CHANGES COLOR!!! So, you've shot a green ball (perfectly), and when it lands in the middle of two green balls -- it has turned blue! SO ...Show more

Really enjoying this game, while also finding it amazingly (and not in a good way) frustrating!! Sometimes (at the higher levels; I don't remember it doing this early on), between shooting a marble and the marble landing in the 'train' -- THE STUPID THING CHANGES COLOR!!! So, you've shot a green ball (perfectly), and when it lands in the middle of two green balls -- it has turned blue! SO frustrating! And sometimes the shooter-thing gets hung up -- and I have to wiggle it back and forth to get it to move to where I want to shoot -- and, by then, the moment is passed. (And I have a big, fast, Win7 machine!)

Even WITH those (really bad) problems, I am enjoying the heck out of the game; game play is (mostly) great, the graphics are excellent, the challenge is mostly enjoyable. And since I get to restart (and restart and restart {sigh}) on the same frustrating level(s), it's okay. I'll play through 4-5 'trips' of 5 lives, and then exit the game... Eventually I get through the not-quite-working level and can... you know ... get frustrated on the NEXT not-quite-working level for a while.

So, I DO recommend this game, but try to get it on sale -- and then have a LOT of patience with the glitching. Show less

This is a visually appealing fun marble-popping game. The story is cute, and the levels get progressively harder as you go along, helped by the purchase of extra powers. I really enjoyed this, it is quite addictive.

It was nice to play a marble popper game other than luxor or zuma, and I enjoyed it.

Good Parts:
Great graphics
Great power-ups
A great challenge

The game was fun to start with, but eventually got boring. The game lacked the fun that Luxor and Zuma repetedly bring.

I enjoyed playing this game, when it worked. It kept dying and then I could not get out of it. I finally had to reboot the computer. After many problems, I uninstalled it.

I don't recommend this game.
