A nice game, with a mixture of M3 and HOG. In the M3 levels, you play to gain parts of the artifacts to fix each temple (there are four). You also have your choice of shape (hexagon, rectangle or mixed), and a choice of chain, swap or group. Decent powerups to help you along. I really, really love this game! I love that you can choose how you want to play [swap tiles, chain or groups of more than 3] and that there is the option to not be timed! The sarcastic banter between the two characters is also very funny and appealing! Yes, the figures are drawn in cartoon-fashion, but that's ok as it still has the usual feel of "only you can save the world" without being too ...Show more

There are cool mini games and the game is Looooong! Lots of power-ups and levels to keep you playing for a long time! So great! So, as you can probably tell, I loved the game and bought it before the 1 hour demo was over! Do try the one hour for yourselves to see if this is the game for you. I don't regret using a game credit for this game! Show less

I'm so addicted to this game. I played the 1 hr on demo and just had to purchase it immediately! I normally play HOGs.

This is a nice change of pace. I enjoy the combo of M3 and HO. Sometimes you just need to unwind and this game does that for me. The music reminds me of Magic Match, that I played a few years back on a now out dated computer. lol

The music can be a bit annoying, so I keep it low. My kitten loves this game too. She watches the big explosions I make, then trys to catch the pieces that go flying everywhere.

I have to agree that it is a bit cartoony, but the storyline is good and the graphics are terrific! It's even a great game for kids. I love it! It was even better knowing I got it free with my game club. Well worth joing it too!

TY BFG for my newest game addiction. I start playing and can't seem to stop! Show less

I'VE BEEN PLAYING THIS M-3 / HOGGER FOR 6 hours NOW AND AM AT LEVEL 72.
Many congrats to SEPPIA INTERACTIVE for MANY fun filled hours.I love the mix !!!
I just cleared 1482970 points at level 70 and still looking forward to finishing this one !!!

Someone gave me a laptop with this game already purchased on it. When that computer gave out, I had to get the game on my new computer since I loved it so much. This game is rather different than others. You can change the manner you explode the match 3 sections. You can change the board's design with different shapes and play. There are cool hidden object scenes where you restore artifacts by finding the objects in pieces, then you have to discover where the object is supposed to go in each scene. A lot of fun here. The match 3 part of the game is easy, but the hidden object scenes are harder and the tiny pieces hard to spot. There are hints to help though, you just wait Many would like the story line I am sure, but I usually skip it in many games so I cannot go into that much, but it appears to be a great one. I love the sounds the game makes with the explosions and bigger chains. I love the power ups and the encouragement when you make a long chain. The graphics may not be up to par for some game players, but I have no complaint about them, though I like stunning graphics, and have bought a couple HOG's mainly for said graphics, but with this game and with many games this is no big deal to me. I suggest you try the trial if that is an important aspect to you. I play this game off and on among my other games. It is a great stress reliever game. I am on the 3rd time through but will play it over and over. I may have the HOS scenes memorized after some time, but each match-3 board will never get old for the relaxed mood it brings me. I found this match 3 game to be only mediocre. This is just a typical match 3 game, and although it is long, I found it quite boring.

There are HOS, but they are basically find the pieces, put them together and place them in the right spot. Some pieces are hard to locate so the HOS becomes very drawn out.

Way too many cut scenes and interruptions. I guess if you are a player that really likes stories, it would be good for you.

Music was awful and I had to turn most of the sound down as the sounds created by matching was really annoying. I realize good match 3 are hard to find but there are some really good, challenging and fun to play out there...and I didn't think this was one of them.

Because of the reviews, I bought this without demo...if I had demoed it, I probably would have passed. Not a match 3 for me, but others may enjoy it. Show less
