These amusing story and the funny-faces vampires reminded me "The Fearless Vampire Killers", originally "Dance of the Vampires", by Polanski.

Great graphics - colorful, vivid and crisp-, amazing characters (especially the butler, the maid and the dog), outstanding voice over, impressive atmosphere, excellent sound.

This was a fun game to play. Cool storyline and was easy to play and find items. I enjoyed playing this game more than once. A must play game. Worth the price.

If you take the time to read the first review by "sartasia", you will have read just about everything I could possibly say about this game, so as to not be repetitious, I will only add, it is one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played. Try it, you'l like it.

Even though this is a vampire story, it is not dark or spooky in any fashion--rather, it is pretty cute and amusing. You are playing an agent tasked with appraising a mansion that is being sold by the government, only to find out that said mansion is filled with friendly vampires and ghosts.

The game play is a lot of fun--mostly puzzle with some HOG scenes. For those looking for games that are predominantly HOG scenes, this game is not for you, but for those looking for puzzles with a good mix of HOG scenes, this game is a good match. Definitely more adventure game than HOG in my opinion, but I never needed a strategy guide to get around. The puzzles were interesting, and you are able to skip a puzzle, but only after the Skip button charged, which took a while. However, most of the puzzles were challenging but doable.

The graphics were okay--a little hokey, but not bad. The voice-overs were first rate. The characters and storyline were very entertaining.

Be sure to check this one out if you are looking for something not so dark and scary, but a lot of fun to play. Show less

This is a really fun game. Not to hard or easy but the characters 'make' the game. You have the businessman who has to survey the house for sale that looks like Keanu Reeves and all the other funny characters. I really recommend this game!!

This game is a "light hearted, campy, for pure fun" game. It's appropriate for PG 13 and above. I wasn't expecting to laugh when I first checked it out. I've owned this since 2013, and still enjoy going back to it. Easy on the brain and oddly amusing. Does the main character look similar to Keanu Reeves to anyone else? Played this game at least 3 or 4 times from a cd I had purchased last year. Loved the characters who actually MOVE and SPEAK instead of the usual type who slide in and out of each scene appearing wooden. HOs and puzzles are good. This game has it all - great game length, many chapters as well as a funny and interesting story! You will want to know what happens next!
Vampireville has SO many games included besides the excellent hidden object portion. Think you are smart? It gets increasingly difficult as you go.
Try NOT to use any clues! This game lasted through 4 days of on and off playing. I LOVED it!!

This little game was absolutely anything but scary and the vampires were a hoot! The game had 24 chapters but they were short. However, much to do in each one, fun tasks, loaded with hard to find HOs, challenging mini puzzles and games. No click penalty (thank goodness) so have at it...my finger was screaming at times to stop already (lol) ! The game had such quirky characters, not one unlovable ...Show more

No click penalty (thank goodness) so have at it...my finger was screaming at times to stop already (lol) ! The game had such quirky characters, not one unlovable vampire in the whole bunch. Each had their own unique personality and that made the story even more delightful. They were very plastic and stiff moving but still had a very "Come closer, I won't bite" quality about them. Make sense? My favorite vampire was Glenfield. The St. Bernard ghost was a sweetie. I just loved them all and the story was so funny, I had a really great time with Vampireville. Let me say I was very attached to the main character, Michael ( not a vampire) ! Even though he did not blink, had no facial expression or movement of any kind really, I just adored him! He actually (IMO) bears an uncanny resemblance to Keanu Reeves, right down to his not so good acting and his poor accent. It reminded me of his role in a Dracula movie some years back. But who cares when he is so doggone cute. Right??

I hope you do not pass this game up...it is very entertaining, different, full of humor and void of bloody neck biting. Very cute story...I think you will enjoy this a lot ! I highly recommend it !

One final note...exit the game only after a chapter has been completed. Otherwise you will lose your progress and will have to replay that entire chapter. Show less
