What if one of your ancestors came to you on Christmas Eve and saved your life, would you follow him back in time to save you ancestors? If you choose not to, your very existence is at stake! Wenonah is the spirit of cold, a kind spirit once but now she is full of revenge, for the man she loved, Koturi, choose love over immortality with Sheena. Now you must go back in time and help redeem spirits and stop Wenonah from killing your relatives. There are snowflakes to collect which can be used to custom build a snowglobe. Koturi will give you a magical feather which can be used to enlarge items, and you will befriend a cold but adorable husky puppy. I wasn't really impressed with the HOS they seemed out of place, cartoonish, way to easy and they doubled up on them. Otherwise the graphics are beautiful and crisp. This game has a good story and lots of things to do in each scene, it does have a Christmas theme to it but it's still Christmas time! Show less

This game is worth the stars I don't see why some people gave it such a bad rap.I have played all the other games in the series and in mho I found it fitted in really well with the series.Don't be put off by a few people who did not like it,I nearly did but am glad that I played it to the end.

In your journey, you do have the help of your first ancestor who gave up the spirit world to be with his human love, starting your ancestry line. You also have the help of a feather which enlarges things (so that a simple scissors, for example, can become a garden shears and perform useful tasks).

The animation and special effects are superb and the voice overs are professional and portray the reality of the situations (no flat tones here). This is a well-detailed and thought out game that is an immediate must-buy. Show less

This is the 5th game in the series and it doesn't disappoint. You still have portals to go through and save some innocent soul from a disaster. Only this time, it's your ancestors, and if you don't save them, you won't be born! This is the 5th game in the series and it doesn't disappoint. You still have portals to go through and save some innocent soul from a disaster. Only this time, it's your ancestors, and if you don't save them, you won't be born! Your ancestor Koturi, the Owl Spirit - hence the owl flying around the game - gave up being immortal to marry Sheenah, his true love, instead of Wenonah, the Spirit of Cold. So Wenonah's a bit peeved and decides to wipe out all of Koturi's descendants. Koturi appeals to you to save your bloodline. The first save is your grandmother, whom Wenonah is about to lure into jumping off the roof. But then the demo ends! Of course, everything is covered with snow and ice by Wenonah!

You have four modes of play including custom. The extras include the Bonus scenario, wallpaper, art, screen savers, movies, music, mini-games and the HOS. You get a Strategy Guide - not needed yet - and a diary, an interactive map, locking inventory, and a hint button that points to where to go instead of taking you there.

You can collect snowflakes that will buy items for fixing up your house in the collections room. The achievement awards appropriately represent a Christmas dinner - since the game takes place on Christmas eve. You also get a feather that you use to enlarge items -- hard to decide when to use it but it gives you a hint!

I am assuming you have to rescue at least three relatives or so, going back through different portals, which is how the previous games worked. Another fine game from our ERS friends to keep us busy during the holidays! Show less

This is the fifth game in the Redemption Cemetery series from ERS. Again, you have to travel back in time to set wrongs right, but this time you have to save your own family's history from the evil spirit Wenonah! Makes things a little more personal and urgent!

Sorry to say, but to start I have a complaint. ERS is now following in Elephant Games' footsteps: the characters in the game no longer move their lips when they speak. C'mon ERS, you always did this feature so well and I can't help but feel this is just plain laziness. This has always been an issue for me with Elephant and now it appears it will be an issue with you. It is a major step backwards in your games. How sad.

Now to the positive features. Gorgeous graphics and artwork. ERS hasn't slipped up there. Each scene is really fun to look at and explore. The VOs are well acted, even if the character's mouths are static. There is a notebook to record your progress and an interactive map to help you along. This CE has achievements to earn and snowflakes to collect. Even if the achievements aren't challenging and the snowflakes impossible to overlook, they're still nice to have. Puzzles are of medium difficulty. HOSs are nice and well laid out. Usual bonus features are included.

Game is well done and continues in the RC tradition. Fairly easy level of challenge makes it a game for all ages. You and your family will enjoy it. Buy it. Show less

I really enjoyed this game since it didn't have a lot of horror in it and it was based on a normal feeling.Some of the games lately are so far out of reality that I don't enjoy them but this was really great.It had good graphics, a good story line,and a map to jump around where you needed to do things.This was worth the money and I do recommend.

Story: Well our ancestor the owl spirit calls for our help to stop the evil Wenonah from destroying our ancestors and making sure we aren't born. Fine how do you do. So we must travel back in time to help our grandparents and stop her evil plan. To me this lady should get a life.

Graphics: ERS is known not only for awesome games but gorgeous graphics. I have to say though they outdid themselves with these. Truly remarkable.

Music: Beautifully done and it fits right with the game.

Mini Games: The ones I encountered were right up my alley. ERS mentioned they hope we liked their mini game in RC 6. I love all your mini games and I know I will love that one too.

Map: It's a fast travel map. No trudging in the snow.

Hint System: It works great outside of the H0GS as well. No worries between the hint system and the strategy guide of getting stuck.

This team did it again. Never ever have I had a bad game from this team. They truly try to please the players and they go above and beyond that. ERS rocks! Show less

The graphics and visuals were just beautiful. The soundtrack was amazing, I could have listened to it all day. The voiceovers were very well done. Hidden object scenes and
puzzles were okay. The puzzles were a little simplistic.
Player has a choice between a Match 3 and Hidden Object
scenes. The Match 3s were the most bizarre I have ever played, and that also added to the game's uniqueness.

There were cute little animals in it. A little kitten and a little husky that becomes your animal helper, which always
enhances any game. There is also a feather that assists
you in the game, in a very unusual way.

There is a map which can be very useful although I didn't use
it very much. There are achievements and snowflake
collectibles which can be used to purchase things
to enhance your experience.

Game begins on present day Christmas Eve in a beautiful snowy town adorned with Christmas lights and horse-drawn sleighs and takes you on a delightful journey of family and mystery. In the setting of a living room with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree beside a fireplace this game is was so captivating I immediately found myself in the story. Today being the day after Christmas, I was delighted to discover this new game that kept me in the Christmas/winter spirit. Full of family,ancestors,ancient spirits, mystery and magic, this game is a smooth moving tale that has an interactive map (which I find definitely a plus) full of hidden object games that you may choose to play match 3 games instead or if you get stuck finding items in HO games you can switch and finish using match 3. The graphics are beautiful and detailed with spoken dialog. I was immediately captivated and immersed into this beautifully thought out game and think all will enjoy! Show less

Koturi, your ancestor comes to you for help. An evil frosting entity is trying to kill your fore fathers - so you may not exists at all - scary thought. So, in you jump into this adventure by Ers - boots and all. Love the cut scenes and the voiceovers -excellent. A quality game with little extras which will delight you and perhaps scare you as well.

I recommend this game!
