It's very cartoonish and almost looks like a kid's game, but don't be fooled----it has lots of challenges and is a great deal of fun.
A princess in a fantasy kingdom has been turned into a man-eating monster, and you are called on to save the day. There are several worlds to explore with lots of objects to find and even more puzzles to solve. The graphics are a sort of 3D presentation with zooming and scrolling available to complement the eye-popping colors and visual clarity.
And the game opens in a widescreen which makes it even better.
There are 2 levels of difficulty, and hints are plentiful.
In addition to the beauty of the game, there is an abundance of good humor to enjoy.
Many would probably compare it to Tiny Bang, but I would put it in a class all by itself.
It's different, it's fun and humorous, it's got good challenge, it's gorgeous to look at, and greatly entertaining to play. What more could you ask for?
Innovation like this is always welcome by me, and I give this beauty my highest recommendation.
You owe it to yourself to at least give it a try----great game.

This FUNNY game is in line with the quality, older adventure series #and that IS a positive!). Those of you who've played games of 'yore', know what I'm talking about... nothing can compare.... they were the BEST of the best and quality through and through, well thought out and very entertaining, despite premodern graphics capabilities. If you have never played those games, now is your chance to open your mind "out of the box' and get ready to laugh with the same quality and upgraded, 3d graphics!
Elementary My Dear Majesty is so much fun; hilarious for both adults and families with a good sense of humor and desire for imaginative, totally fun gaming. Thumbs up. Show less

I had more fun with this game than any other HOG/Adventure game I have ever played
I found myself fishing knights out of moats with a big magnet hitched to a crane, nudging an oak tree’s brain back into its trunk so it could remember the password, sawing off a part of a rainbow, rounding up monkeys with bananas, catapulting crates onto pirate ships, rounding up butterflies to trade to ninja’s for ...Show more

It is a lighthearted joy. The 3D aspect may take some getting used to, but I you allow yourself 15 minutes or so at start of the game to fool around with the controls, you it will find it become very simple to navigate.
I did have problems with the custom cursor, though, it seemed to get stuck in the ‘tool’ mode, and so I switched to system cursor and had no problems.
With most in the genre being stuck in the horror melodrama themes, it was so great to find one game that was a lighthearted slapstick comedy.
Please, if anyone knows of any other good adventure/HOG’s that are not horror based, please recommend them to me. It was just so wonderful spending the last 5 hours playing without being exposed to the worst evils imaginable. I normally do not write reviews (and as you can tell I am very bad at it) but I felt I had to reach out to others who are like myself love this genre of gamming, that there is at least one game that will not give you nightmares. This is probably the funniest seek and find adventure I have every played. The graphics ate actually very bright, colorful and crisp, even though the graphics are animated, it's obvious someone spent a lot of time perfecting the details. King Ludwig of Sky World has summoned the finest investigator available, which happens to be Felix the Investigator. Something or someone has turned Princess Mary into a hideous monster. The King likes to refer to Mary as a Rabbit, but she looks nothing like a cute fuzzy rabbit!
Each level or chapter has a whole slew of tasks to accomplish such as finding tools, or multiples of items such as 10 apples and 6 melons. The task are given to you on a list in groups and once you find all of those items you are tasked with using those items to solve a small dilemma, usually in the form of a mini game such as putting puzzle pieces together. Some of the tasks involve using a remote control box to align a crane, or a cannon both sideways and the trajectory or distance. One such piece of equipment involved launching some very cute sheep from the main island to a smaller island section, I accidentally overshot that poor little sheep (whose name was Dolly) over the side of the island, I felt horrible! If you want to play a lighthearted game that has all kinds of tasks available, and you like a sense of humor, give this game a try, but don't launch poor Dolly too far, enjoy! Show less

The graphics were comical and colorful, and each scene was delightful. The game incorporated a 3D or panoramic effect which made it more fun and it took some getting used to. Things were hiding all over the place and your ability to move the scenery and zoom in and out created a bit of a challenge, making the hidden object scenes more fun. Most of the objects were very tiny, but not impossible to find. Strangely enough, the princess was turned into a man-eating monster and it is your job to cure her...OR ELSE!! So the journey begins, taking you to far-off places. And what a good, surprise ending!! For me this game was lots of fun, I enjoyed every moment. Nothing dark or foreboding, no scares or demons, no frustrating challenges. Glad that I stepped out of the box for this one. I feel my money was well spent and cheerfully recommend it. Show less

This is a completely different take on the hidden object game genre. The locations aren't a series of 3D floating islands and in fact everything (including the objects) is rendered in 3D except for some of the puzzles.

The game doesn't take itself seriously and is full of silly, whimsical humour as you travel to varied, exotic locations as you try to save the princess. Puzzles are of above average difficulty, but I didn't run into anything frustrating.
You can rotate and zoom into each main location and you _have_ to rotate as some of the hidden objects can only be seen from certain angles. I liked the way this worked. :) I'd suggest that instead of using the zoom and arrow icons in the lower right, you use the mouse scroll wheel (if you have one) for zooming and hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse at the same time to rotate. It's much more convenient.
The hidden objects are small, but I didn't have a problem finding them and rarely used any hints. While I generally like colourful games, this was perhaps a little _too_ colourful and made the game a little less attractive.
Overall it was fun and refreshing to see something new in the genre, especially with such a light-hearted story! Show less

What a welcome change from the same old same old. These developers have definitely been thinking out of the box. Once I started playing, I couldn't stop. Has tons of replay value as well. Definitely one of my favorite games. The colors are vivid and the dialogue is funny. I would recommend this to anyone who is tired of the same old HOG.

It is colorful, clever and creative. That would seem to indicate a grade of C but this is an A+ game. I had such high expectations that I expected to be disappointed but it is a winner with not a speck of gloom, doom or decaying buildings.
